Absolutely amazing

Lovely and friendly service

From start to finish, Rachel was so kind and helpful, always checking in and doing her absolute best to get our sofa delivered as quickly as possible as we had a young baby at home!

Also, the team who delivered the sofa from the north east were so lovely too and helped in so many ways, since I was recovering from a c-section and couldn’t do much.

Sofa purchased for a holiday let. We were assured by DFS that the sofa would fit in the house and that delivery would be on a Saturday - change over day. So…. the sofa was delivered on a Saturday but the delivery men could not fit the sofa through the front door. Note we had got rid of the old sofa in the morning and now had no sofa for our guests due to arrive in couple hours as they had to take our new sofa back to the depot. To cut a long story short the delivery men did not remove the head rests which was the reason it would not fit in the house. If that had been done there would have been no problem. Trying to get a new quick delivery date had been trying to get to the moon and back ‘mission impossible’. I would have assumed that due to this being a mistake from the delivery firm and DFS that they would have done as much as possible to rectify this issue. So sofa now being delivered on a Sunday ( 6 days later) which is affecting now 2 sets of guests and the day we are supposed to be attending a wedding. The after care service from DFS is atrocious all DFS want to sell you the sofa then after that you get what you can with service. I am mentally drained in trying to get this issue resolve.

Discussed access into the house with DFS and please be assured that the detail with the complaint is entirely the responsibility of DFS and the delivery firm. As noted this was due to the drivers not being briefed on the dismantling of the headrests nothing other than that I’m afraid - not the customers responsibility. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.

We were welcomed into the store and were anle to walk around the store with any pressure from the sales team. When we asked for more information on a product the sales person was very helpful, giving us multiple options and was very knowledgeable- great experience

Sales manager misinformed me about delivery times and that was my basis of buying furniture that it will be delivered in under 7 days but it’s over two weeks and never informed that the furniture will be delivered on separate dates even though it was one unit. This was designed just to get the sale through which is really misleading, ended up buying new furniture on line and was delivered in 72 hrs. Very disgruntled and now stuck with furniture I will not need

Browsing for a couch and it was lovely to be spoken to by all staff in the premises but not to feel pressured. Bethany spoke to us when she could see we were trying to decide between 2 ranges and she was lovely, explaining the differences and similarities and allowing us the time to make our decision . Bethany was also very knowledgeable about the ranges and had that lovely mix of being personable, chatty, helpful but not pressuring - she made purchasing our new couches a pleasurable experience and would highly recommend her.

The lovely Bethany at the Carlisle store dealt with me today and made the process smooth and easy. My order was checked, double checked by Bethany and checked a third time by another member of staff which is a great idea!

The lady that served us in carlisle depot was absolutely brilliant, not pushy and had all the information at hand. So first first class at her job.
