DFS Furniture - Aintree Omdömen 

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from DFS. My sofa was delivered on 28th June, and ever since then I have had nothing but problems and have had to repeatedly chase for updates and resolutions.
The delivery team smashed my lamp, which still has not been resolved. The sofa itself arrived with marks and missing items, the headrest button on the recliner does not work, and I am still unable to properly use the single recliner because the wires underneath are frayed. I was told by DFS that this is a fire hazard.
A new motor has apparently been ordered, but I have been told this will not be dealt with until the end of the year. Quite frankly, that is completely unacceptable for a brand-new sofa.
I last spoke to someone on 24th July. The lady called me back, but unfortunately I missed her call. She left me a voicemail explaining that my case had been passed to a Service Area Manager, who would contact me. I am still waiting for that phone call.
I was also told that she would look into getting a replacement single recliner rather than making me wait until the end of the year, particularly given the number of issues I have already experienced. Since then, I have had no updates, no solution and no further contact whatsoever.
I have spent far too much time chasing DFS for problems that should never have occurred in the first place. I should not have to repeatedly contact a company just to get basic aftercare and communication, especially when I have a brand-new sofa that I cannot even use properly.
The worst part is the complete lack of communication. I have been chasing and chasing, and now there is simply absolute radio silence.
This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and based on the aftercare I have received so far, I would struggle to recommend DFS to anyone. A new sofa should not come with months of problems, safety concerns and unresolved issues.

Do not buy from DFS.

The person who helped us was extremely helpful & knowledgable when helping us pick the right sofa for us. She explained everything in detail around the finance options available to us and all other additional car products. Would happily be returning in the future.

Sales individuals weren't pushy, allowed to browse at own leisure and when they were needed they were very helpful

We visited the DFS store at Aintree Retail Park on Saturday 8 August where we were assisted by Celine, who was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Celine answered all our questions and gave us in-depth advice and information, ie measurements etc on three different sofas we were viewing. We took the information away with us and returned on Sunday 9 August to purchase two three seater sofas. Our thanks go to Celine for a pleasurable experience.

Friendly, helpful staff. While buying process is very straight forward and simple. Great finance offers too. Returning customer who would return again!

Jack was very helpful and tactful. He made us coffee and knew when to leave us alone to try out the sofa beds and discuss what we wanted, but was ready to come back and answer questions when we wanted him to

The service was fantastic, helpful without being pushy in any way, you are left to browse but staff are quietly in the background. From my initial visit when I spoke with Jack, who sent in all the details of the sofa I liked, to my follow up visit, when I was served by Matt, who was extremely helpful, I was really impressed, not only by the helpful, friendly service, but also how everything was carefully explained, including delivery and follow up care.

My sofa was fixed by unique upholstery in Liverpool the difference is absolutely outstanding it is now the sofa that it should of been
I have arthritis in my hands and they way that I have been treated is beyond belief no customer service,no reply to my emails,no phone call back
Shocking

I was greeted by Richard as we viewed the many suites on display and I settled on a 3 and 2 seater sofa in a certain colour and came home as soon as I arrived home I knew I had chosen the wrong colour in a flood of tears and afraid it was to late to change my order we drove back and still in tears was met with calming and reassuring words and in minutes the colour was changed and Richard reassured me all was well thank you so much for the way you dealt with me and put me at ease customer service was second to none 😊

Got full facts and help from Staff also a nice cup of coffee.

We were very happy with the service when we arrived. We were introduced by a lady Advisor named E50 - Celine. We were given of time to browse around store and were asked did we need help. We were explaining to Celine that we need a small 3 seater settee and 2 small armchairs and she gave us quite a few various choices and helped with measurements. We decided on the KIAN design with grape colour choice. She was more than helpful and was through when filling in details and payment options
We would definitely recommend DFS to family and friends x

I am a returning customer to DFS, and find the quality of the sofa's to be of an excellent standard. The sofas are tailor made and provide so many additional options for each suite. This is a bonus as you can get the exact look and comfort you are looking for (e.g. choices in fabric colour, fabric type, feet colour, cushion filling, easy glide feet for ease of movement etc.). I rate this store 5 stars *****.
