First experience of a smart heater

I bought a 2000w glass panel heater which was delivered the next day. Having always had gas central heating I moved to a flat and could not get on at all with the slow, ineffective heaters in situ.
The new one is small, compact and stylish though I would say light grey rather than platinum white as described. It heats up very quickly and is effective in a medium sized bedroom. I had thought that the description of timer meant it could have scheduled on and off times set with the remote control but the timer is just 1 to 24 hour duration. It is of course a smart heater and operating times are set eg on the Alexa app. I had to enlist help from a more IT competent person to connect it up. The signal only seemed intermittent for the first few days which was worrying but it now seems to be constant and settled. It is possible to remove the light pad when heating is in operation but not when on standby so at night the on and the WiFi buttons do illuminate the room. It is far more effective than the previous heater and I will now get it wall mounted and have the cable put into a wall socket. I will see how it functions for a few months and then consider replacements for other rooms too. At this stage seems a good buy and I am enjoying a warm room.

Not as expected..

I was false-fully told by them the heater was eco and energy efficient, when it used around 50p an hour witch is ridiculous.. on reading there terms of returns, if the package has been open or used they reserve the right to only give you 50% of the cost of the item, not only that your responsible for delivery costs back to them, total con avoid this company, also on there site they selectively choose what reviews appear, basically deceiving its customers.

The delivery they used was loveshop directory.

I should have ordered off amazon I would have been covered far grater, its not even worth sending it back as the cost of delivery wouldn't make it worth it.

The cost to run a heater is highly dependent on your individual energy tariff, usage duration, and selected settings. While our heaters are designed to be energy efficient, the actual running cost will always vary from household to household and isn’t something we can guarantee.

In terms of returns, our policy is consistent with many retailers. If an item is returned in a condition where it cannot be resold due to heavy use or damage, we reserve the right to apply a deduction. However, if the packaging has simply been opened and the product has only been lightly tested — similar to what would be expected in a shop setting — there would be no reason for any deduction to be made. Return postage is the customer’s responsibility when an item is no longer required, which is standard practice across most retailers.

To clarify the delivery point, LoveShoppingDirect is our company name, and delivery is always carried out by third‑party courier services. We do not deliver items ourselves.

All of this information is clearly outlined on our website. We don’t intend to be misleading or deceptive, and we’re always happy to explain or clarify any of our policies if contacted directly. It’s a shame you didn’t reach out to us first, as these concerns could have been addressed and explained before leaving a review.

I am very pleased with this heater as it is so easy for me to use with the remote.my neighbour has a similar model and uses the app and this is something i will be doing as she says its easy.

Excellent dehumidifier

Excellent dehumidifier! Very fast delivery. I already have this model of dehumidifier (I bought it a year ago) but the new one will be used downstairs and the other one is for drying the laundry upstairs. The dehumidifier is really efficient and quiet too. Can't recommend it highly enough!!

Great service

Great service.
And delivery was so fast too.
The dehumidifier is great .
Really cleans the air and with the fan it dries out the humility and I can't believe the amount of litres of water in the dishumidifier tank.
The dials are so easy used and I like the dial on the front that changes colour .

Delivery time was fine but thereafter…

Delivery time was fine but thereafter the wheels fell off.
Wished to return the product but no on-line label according to your assistant it may cost me £25 to return it and I may not receive a refund if your assessors consider it could not be re-sold
Will never use this company again and any future customers should think twice about using them.

I'm sorry to hear about the troubles with your purchase.

I’ve reviewed all communication and couldn’t find any mention of wheel damage—only box damage, for which we requested photos that were never sent. The main issue raised was that the product couldn’t be used on carpet, which is stated in our online manual, so we provided the “unsuitable returns” information.

You’re free to use any courier for the return; the £25 mentioned refers to the return service we offer because that’s what our couriers charge us, but you’re not obliged to use it. It’s also correct that if an item is returned in unsuitable condition, a refund may not be applied. However, if you let us know about any damage upon delivery, this is always taken into consideration and would never be used against you.

I hope this clears up a few things.

I ordered a heater next day delivery, never recieved after 4 days i contacted them and was told there had been an issue with delivery fair enough a new 1 will be sent immediately next day delivery. 5 days later again no item no tracking and no contact
