Denbies Wine Estate Omdömen 

Went for a coffee at Denbies Cafe. Was served by indifferent young girls at the counter, who at best were curt and disinterested. Given the delux nature of the layout and pricing at the shop, the Cafe is in comparison a bit of a dump. Cutlery was dirty and generally the place looks run down. I felt sorry for the people having a wedding there. You need to do a lot better at customer service and revamping areas around your building. The staircase leading up to the gallery spells of disinfectant, and the lobby is perhaps the most uninviting place for a hotel reception. The wines are massively overpriced. I booked the Xmas experience on 9th November and payment was made. No booking confirmation was sent. I called customer service explaining I need to booking confirmation to confirm the date. The lady on the phone said the search function wasn’t working… she took my name and phone number and said she would email it to me and if there were any problems she would call me. I said ‘you will need my email address’ I gave her my email address and I’ve heard nothing! No email, no phone call. I need to confirm the date for work, confirmation was never sent yet they have taken my money. Service is poor! I’ve tried calling back with no answer!

Absolutely shocking customer service. Couldn’t make the pre booked date, cancelled in good time and was told I could have the vouchers to book another time. 6 emails and 6 months later still nothing, not even and acknowledgement of my emails

A beautiful estate that we have visited as a family many times. This time we tried to get something to eat from The Hatch. But the food ordered did not arrive - when we queried this we were made to feel like it was our fault that they messed up the order. They were unpleasant and unhelpful and it ruined the whole experience.

The large conservatory is a pleasant place for coffee but the selection of pastries was very sad.
They looked - and some were - extremely dry.

The occasion was our wedding June 2023, it went all according to plan and Ellie, Ben, Lexi, Holly and the train drivers did a fantastic job, thank you guys! Will always recommend you.

Had a lovely time on the 'train', friendly guides and wine was great. Farm shop packed with good stuff. That cheese counter saved the day!

Cafe food selection not amazing, very little choice. Would have been better to offer more hot food selections (only served at noon and you get just three choices). Wanted to book the restaurants but all full!

Can go around the back for the brewery, not much to see but a couple of chairs in the car park with two portaloos. Small selection of brews, we tried all five available.

A lunchtime visit to The Hatch proved very disappointing. The panini was tough without much flavour and chips not much better. Its a nice idea to have a marquee but the floor wasnt clean nor were the bench tops/seating. We had looked inside at the conservatory restaurant but decided against it as it was so stuffy. The whole experience didn't suit the location.

Great day and hotel, until Evening meal, choice of fish or vegetarian main course, offered belly pork which i accepted, a piece of dried up belly pork arrived on mashed potato, no vegetables or sauce.
after asking eventually a sorry dish of veg arrived.
Appalling meal spoilt an otherwise great day.
My wife was particularly upset as she had bought this as a birthday present for me.
