Chose my car from the Dace web site went to view it.car was already valeted and I picked it up the next day no fuss,very good and quick service a really good experience

Recently bought my new car with Will at Dace motors, everything went really smooth and was able to pick up my car pretty much straight away, Will had everything ready for me when I arrived thanks for your help couldn’t recommend enough :)

Initially the car had only just come in so was not on display or even prepped. Went and got it for me to inspect and road test. Agreed what work would be done on the car. Couple of weeks later I picked the car up. Within the first few days I had a warning light appear on the dash. Rang them to see if they would sort it and was told I would need to go through my warranty. Intermittent fault so appeared to fix itself then come back on. Needed to get it diagnosed before the warranty company would authorise it. I decided to take it straight to Dace and ask them to diagnose it for me if they weren't prepared to fix it. After a bit of a confrontation with my sales rep and a really obnoxious guy called Stuart I believe who was adamant I was doing something wrong they took it to their service centre 2 minutes away and diagnosed it as a clutch pedal position switch error. They are now fixing it for me under warranty. If I had a fault on a 40-50 grand car they would roll out the red carpet but because my car was 5 grand I get treated differently. Kept leaving messages and no one called back. My driver's heated seat won't warm up but they won't entertain that and again told me to contact my warranty. They left the old parking sensors in the boot. My rear wiper was rusty so they said they'll put a new one on. They sprayed the rusty one and put the new one in the boot for me to change!! Car was MOT'd and serviced at a garage they use but they didn't stamp the service book or reset the oil life. Car had full service history. Had to take it back to get 2 bulbs changed a few days after the MOT. Not a very good experience in my opinion. Saw a guy having his photo took with the purchase of his range rover which is testament to level of service you receive depending how much you spend. Car itself is great. Does everything I need and more. Just wish the after sales and overall service was better. Stuart had no right to get involved and to talk to customers like that. Complaint will be going in about him. Be careful.

It’s no exaggeration to say this was probably the easiest dealer purchase experience I’ve ever had. I’ve purchased plenty of cars before, but my experience with Steve at Dace was by far one of the best!

Absolutely made up with my new car!!!! I can’t recommend the guys enough at Dace German Motor Group. We visited loads of car sales within the area but none was a patch on dace motor group. We spoke to Jason who was very helpful, showing us around with no pushy sales. We felt confident and comfortable the whole time. We was there hours and didn’t feel in the way, we was able to decide with no pressure. We purchased the car with Steve who couldn’t do enough for us. He spent time with us even after sales showing us the features on the car and all the equipment we could use. Everything was perfect. We walked away so happy with our choice, excellent service and amazing value. Thankyou to all of you who helped us over the weekend to choose the perfect car for us.

I was able to test drive a BMW at the Dace German Car site and then was driven over to the main branch to test drive a Mercedes. There was a good range of cars and Stuart searched all Dace sites for a car that met my requirements and budget.
Everything during the sale was straightforward and clearly explained.

From my initial conversations with Will, viewing and test driving with Stuart and hand over from Will and Jake, everything was perfectly straightforward. Thanks guys for ensuring this was an easy and efficient service. Definitely worth more than 5 stars.

I’m frustrated about an ongoing issue with my car. The low coolant light has been showing intermittently (not an actual issue with coolant level), and despite notifying the dealership previously, the problem persists even after they claimed to have fixed it. I haven’t received any proof of the work done, and the communication throughout has been very poor. After bringing the vehicle in, there was no follow-up to check if everything was resolved, even after the initial issue was supposedly addressed. Even after I initially picked up the vehicle there was no check in! When I took the car back again, the lack of communication continued—it felt like they were uninterested once they had my money.

I had to initiate contact every time to get updates, which made me feel ignored and not valued as a customer. I emailed a complaint to Dace but received no response. At this point, I just want proof of the warranty work that was supposedly done, yet I haven’t received any paperwork, and the issue persists. Dace has not acknowledged my attempts to reach out. They had my car for three weeks in July for the “warranty work,” but I still haven’t received any evidence or paperwork, despite multiple requests. I expected better service from a well-known dealership, but throughout this experience, I have felt ignored, not considered, and forced to chase down basic information.
