Our hand picked range covers most budgets across most sectors, and its growing daily. We are experts with Electric bikes, we focus on quality rather than price, specialising in Bosch and E-Bike Motion particularly. Our brand choice is focussed, and chosen for each brands merit. Scott, Bergamont & Orbea lead the main charge, with Cinelli and GT covering the gaps, whilst Children's bikes are expertly covered by Frog's innovative lightweight range. Setup in 2010, we are the only inner city store with off street parking! We are all enthusiasts, we all ride daily, most of us race albeit we wont be challenging the Brownlee brothers just yet! Impressive shop and good service for straightforward repairs

Friendly and fixed one aspect of bike quickly. Did not source parts for the other issue. Felt that they were happy doing the straightforward part well, but unwilling to help with the harder issue.

Dave, Thanks for this review, although i must take issue with the comments regarding the "harder issue".
Your bike is a Gazelle, we are not Gazelle dealers and they do not have a UK distributor, meaning we cannot source parts any easier than you, and secondly as Cycle Heaven (York's Gazelle Dealer) had already told you they could not supply one, any potential supply would be from outside of the country.
Our mechanic had discussed this with you over the phone and directed you to several European points of supply. Sadly due to the new trading agreements with Europe, we would have to add VAT to the purchase price, then VAT to the sell price and at some point add a profit margin too, resulting a much more expensive item that you could source directly.
We are more than willing to assist in any element of a repair, alas in this case, as with most involving importing goods into the UK, it is more expensive for us to do it for you.

Easy & efficient

I needed a rear inner tube fitted, called in on an off chance of a repair that morning. Went away to do a little shopping and got a message soon after to say the repair had been done. Easy, efficient and courteous service. Thanks.

A great bike shop with helpful and knowledgeable staff giving sensible advice. I needed some tools for trail side repairs and they had everything I needed 👍

Very knowledgeable and helpful

Twice recently I’ve struggled to get spares for my Orbea Rise M10 E bike, but the staff at CycleStreet proved very knowledgable and helpful, providing details of the parts I needed, and sent them out straight away, enabling me to get my bike back on the road.

Great team at Cycle Street

Great team at Cycle Street, nothing is too much trouble and they have fantastic clothing sale at the moment where you just make a sensible offer for the clothing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team and definitely use them when I upgrade my MTB in the future.

All good

We're blessed with some great bike shops in York and Cycle Street is right up there. My new bike has been built up beautifully, including some lovely cable routing for lights from a hub dynamo. No quibble fixing of any teething problems and a three month check up encouraged. Friendly staff who have communicated well throughout the process.

My bike feels so much better to ride…

My bike feels so much better to ride after it has been serviced, the difference is night and day. The brakes actually work again now, which is a good thing. Quick turnaround on getting it booked in, and cost was lower than I was expecting, too.

Always excellent service and…

Always excellent service and communication at Cycle Street. The staff are understanding and also realistic when it comes to what you need for your bike and how much you want to spend.
My bike has had parts changed and a service and now feels like new. Thank you
