Currys - Tamworth Omdömen 

We bought an American fridge/freezer delivered without any plumbing parts so had to go back to store. The Manager was not helpful at all but the gentleman behind the counter was. He arranged for the parts to be delivered 3-5 working days from Samsung. Parts received, another date scheduled for a team to come out to plumb fridge freezer to water supply. Team arrived and stated filter was missing! Contacted Samsung direct, filter ordered 3-5 working days. Filter received, another Currys team arranged to come out to plumb the appliance to water supply. Team arrived did not know how to do it! Called Currys who arranged another team to come out - finally on the 4th attempt appliance up and working! Requested compensation - resolution not reached - asked to speak with a manager - no manager called. Accepted their last offer of £60 e-gift card and was advised my complaint was closed as it had taken more than 10 days to confirm. I responded by stating that no manager had called me to discuss my complaint. My response was not received as their mailbox was full! Nowhere in all of the emails received from Curry's does it mention a 10 day limit for resolution to be reached!
Shocking treatment but not surprised when you research how many other people have similar experiences from Curry's Customer Services/complaints department! All in all it took 4 separate teams, on 4 separate dates + 2 separate dates for missing parts ordered and delivered, got to be a record eh?

Having bought a new vacuum in January of this year it has now ceased to work, I took it back into the store and the manager, Matt, has referred me to the manufacturer as that is company policy, after stating that company policy does not overrule the consumer rights act of 2015 and they are legally obliged to sort the issue as my contract is with them not the manufacturer, he refused point blank, having raised a case with trading standards who have agreed and will be investigating I look forward to speaking to them later today.

Staff were very helpful, polite , which goes a long way for me , and the service was quick , a member of staff even helped me put my new fridge in my car .

I have bought an Indesit electric cooker from currys. The order was with instalation and on the day after the instalation currys engineer switched it on to make sure it works fine and the oven started to make horrible noise. The engineer claimed it was the fan and they had similar case with the same type of cooker couple of days back. The engineer and delivery guy that was with him both advised me to order a replacement, which I did, well I tried to. That was the moment when all fun experience with currys started. I went to Tamworth currys branch, and complained about the noise. Next I went through replacement procedure during which I had to go to the shop twice as the first time the lady at currys just kept on trying to ring indesit. Well I have explained that I rang the same number just to be told they only deal with repairs not replacements. Anyway I was told to leave it with her. He rang me a couple of hours later and announced that they are ready to process the replacement. So I drove to the shop again, that was the next day, after spending good 20 min at the shop same lady I spoke to the day before finally managed to get the replacement request through (there was a problem with the system). Finally I have received the replacement date. On the day when I checked reference on currys tracking system it showed invalid reference. Sure enough nobody showed up. When I rang them I was told the replacement was canceled, they did not know why or who canceled it. I was told somebody from the shop will ring me back within 48 hours to sort it out. That was a week ago. On the footnote when I rang them it was main currys number as you cant ring a shop directly. Shocking customer service and substandard product.

The assistance I had was from a young man called Christian. He knew exactly what I needed, which was an uncomplicated microwave and only a microwave - it did not need to cook as well. There were two types available and after choosing one, he then dealt with the payment arrangement very professionally and nice and quickly. Then he carried the appliance out to the car. Excellent.

After not being able to see the type of product we required in store and not even being able to be offered anything suitable to our needs, it was easy to find on-line and quick and easy to place our order. Delivery was easy to track and the product was quickly delivered to the predicted time scale, even with a weekend in the middle. Ordered Friday afternoon, delivered Monday morning. Great!

As a trainee Andy in tamworth store knew his stuff and to the letter, great asset to the company and very helpful, also delivery driver was friendly and took care in the delivery so it wasn't damaged in any way

Relaxing purchase of a fridge freezer in Tamworth’s Curry’s.

I went to buy a washing machine. The assistant Gurparl made it so effortless. I knew what I wanted which helped.I paid to have it delivered and my old one taken away at a time that suited me. I couldn't fault the service.

I went to pick up a purchase and while I was there I was having a problem with my phone the staff member that was serving me whose name was Amelia suggested my problem was my screen saver was too thick so I purchased a new screen saver which she fitted and was very professional about it and I have no more problems with my phone I was very impressed

I ordered a dishwasher online, drove to the Tamworth store, I was greeted by a member of staff, who promptly goton the radio the stores. The item came straight out, paperwork done, and loaded it into my van. Very polite staff, helpful. I cannot say any better.
