Currys - Reading Omdömen 

Visited currys to purchase coffee machine. We needed some advice but there wasn’t any staff about to ask . Approached someone downstairs and was advised that a member of staff will come and help . No one ever did . Decided to buy particular machine . Took empty box to cash desk . Young girl behind cash desk was really quite rude, no please ‘s and Thankyou’s . When paid for she pushed the empty box toward us. I said that we need the coffee machine as it’s a display box . She rang through someone at the warehouse who then came out to get box. We waited a fair few minutes . We then approached a manager who then said it will be 2 minutes . We could see the panic in his face . It appeared that they couldn’t find said coffee machine I. The store . We waited 11 minutes whilest they tagged around looking for product. We decided to get a refund there and then. A very bad shopping experience

I arrived at the store with 20 minutes to go before closing. When upstairs to the washing machines. Shop assistant Nick was with a customer only has to wait. 5 minutes showed him which washing machine I wanted he then went through.All the different functions that the machine does and technical stuff. Then went ahead and ordered it. I was out at the store within 20 minutes. Excellent experience, scoring Nick a ten out of 10.

I purchased an integrated fridge freezer from the Reading store. During the purchase I mentioned the £80 delivery, installation and recycling promotion, but this was not properly addressed or explained to me.
When arranging delivery, I simply asked when they could deliver. I was offered Sunday, asked for the next available day and was told Wednesday. When I asked what time, I said anytime after 9:30am and was given a 9:30am–1pm slot. I was never told that this was a £35 premium “Time to Suit” service or that choosing it could affect the £80 promotion.
I raised a complaint and was repeatedly told that the Reading store would call me within 24–72 hours. Weeks have now passed and, despite chasing Currys several times and having further callback requests and complaints raised, nobody from the store has contacted me at all.
The delivery team themselves were lovely, friendly and professional, so my complaint is not about them. It is specifically about the service during the sale and the complete lack of follow-up afterwards.
I find it extremely disappointing that after spending over £700 in store, I have had to chase Currys repeatedly and still cannot get anyone from the store to contact me.

I recently purchased TV from Currys Reading store and the staff was extremely helpful and made my purchase extremely seamless. This also helped me make the right decision as everything was explained really well.

I bought a z13 ASUS laptop from curry's had an issue with it from new (dead on arrival) went to curry's they swapped it for a new one apart from waiting 15 mins the service they gave was very good and sorted my issue out

The young man who helped me choose a new printer was very polite, extremely knowledgeable and guided me to a device that fitted my requirements precisely. He wasn’t pushy, just helpful

Always the same when I come to this Currys, never any staff around and when you find one they pass you onto someone else - particularly in the evening, not as bad in the morning although I assume that's when management is on, so they have more staff to make their own lives easier. Always regret coming.

The young lady that served us was so good, if she did not have an answer to a question she looked it up fully so information was correct that she gave us, she also gave us her full attention and did not wander of to serve others, she made it the best experience for us.

We paid for a specific delivery slot but it arrived early. This wasn’t a problem except we hadn’t done any of the preparation. This was not an issue for the guys. Speedy and efficient service. Thanks so much.

We got immediate assistance the moment we walked through the door and there were plenty of staff members available to assist. There were a massive choice of tv's to look at and we got some great assistance and advice based on what we were looking for. Also got some added extras and some money off.

Ordering was very easy, and my item was delivered much sooner than expected. The driver kept me informed of my delivery and arrived promptly. Both young men were friendly, polite and very professional. I am very pleased with my purchase. Had I been aware that the guys were unable to install my extractor fan I would not have ordered it. And for that reason I haven’t awarded 5 stars.

I bought a TV online with a click and collect option. It all worked well, and the local store fetched the TV and carried to my car. All good.

The LG employee who was working in the store was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
