Being able to go into a store ans see excay

i purchased an all in one pc from Curry's in Hove. They had the one in stock that I wanted, but it took a while for someone to serve me. The assistant obviously tried to suggest extras, but was not pushy about it. She even volunteered to take it out to the car, but I was OK with carrying it myself. The whole procedure took about half and hour and the pc works very well, much better than my old one.

I get all my electrical stuff from here. Staff are knowledgeable and courteous, prices are reasonable and the buy now pay later schemes are great. I can't fault it

Ordered the small appliance on Monday and it arrived the next day even though I hadn't paid for next day delivery. The delivery man was polite and pleasant and the appliance arrived well packed and in good condition.

Sales person Jeremy was brilliant when we bought our new laptop, and technical support from other guy (sorry didn't get his name) was great, so knowledgeable! Set up our new laptop with everything we needed and transferred all our documents from our old computer

Really helpful staff, and plenty of them. It makes me think I will go back in store rather than buying on line

Good service and information provided

Excellent customer service! The staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. We took quite a long time to decide what we wanted, but they were incredibly patient and never made us feel rushed. They gave us all the advice and guidance we needed, helping us make the right choice. We really appreciated their outstanding service and would highly recommend them!

Buying a new television

I had an excellent experience in Car yesterday when a young male assistant called Shaun helped me choose a television and through the cashback offers and I was most impressed

I was fortunate to be assisted by a tolerant , patient and determined member of staff who dealt with my severe deafness on the day( Sunday).
He also solved an unusual problem with my flexi account as well as talking me through three different products that were very important to me very efficiently and In an easy to understand manner.

On the 19th of May we traveled to your Hove branch of curries to decide which fridge freezer we had to buy to replace our failed fridge and failing freezer. We decided on a model that was priced at £699 see attachment. Photograph taken by me at your branch to remind myself of the haier fridge freezer we had decided on I would check out other sources and come back when next day to purchase. Price of £699 shown an attachment. When we came back the next day I identified that Amazon was selling the same model for £611 . The staff of the Hove branch would not match this price because they said one letter was different and therefore it was a different manufacturing batch batch. I knew for that one letter difference it was the same fridge freezer and there was room for maneuver here. The floor manager of the Hove branch would not budge even though we explained to the young rep dealing with us that we had seen it for 699 the previous day and it was now priced at 799 but there was no flexibility shown about this upper price. Naturally I purchased from Amazon and Currys lost the sale. The next day you'd lowered the price of that same model to £649 which we probably would have purchased from Currys. I reported Currys for their pricing shernanigans & tried their arbitration service which was completely unhelpful. But not before reaching out to the currys CEO these responses are their unhelpful responses from a Natalie Johnson of the currys™ Executive Resolution Team

Jargon used no explanations provided to me when I challenged them.

'As advised previously our prices are always subject to change and are not controlled by ourselves.' Haier confirmed by email to me they do not set prices for currys.

'we have sent you copies of our price match terms and conditions and this would not be reviewed further.'

I know I won't waste my time shopping with curry's in the future as the same items usually appear cheaper elsewhere to me. My advice? Vote with your feet if you have experienced similiar let downs from currys.

Just a great experience from the staff to the delivery and instalation of an american fridge freezer

I had a lot of help from Sophia who advised me and answered questions. She also took my new tv to my car for me and carried my old tv to put in the Currys recycling box

The in shop service was awful . Ended up leaving and ordering online from cafe nearby 👎
