Crystal Motor Company Omdömen 

Bought a Jaguar XF from Crystal a few weeks ago, and the sales process was fine.

However, the car was sold without an owner’s handbook, a new one of which costs £60 from JLR. I was repeatedly promised a handbook, and none has been forthcoming.

Furthermore, the car was allegedly serviced in a few months before I bought it, but there was no paperwork to back this up. Again, I was repeatedly promised a copy of the invoice/paperwork would be sent to me. Alas, this also seems to be lies. Missing evidence of service history will now cost me when the time comes to sell.

This all despite 5+ ‘phonecalls, and multiple emails to try and have the above promises fulfilled. They say that one should contact them if the service hasn’t been 5 star, but even the reaction to the raising of issues is hugely disappointing.

I look forward to their buck-passing if/when there is a response published to my review.

In summary, I’d strongly advise against handing over any money until all promises have been fulfilled.

Unable to give zero stars, after buying their extended warranty (not worth the paper it's written on, as not backed by a warranty insurance company)
After the vehicle being inspected by an independent motor engineer and a main dealer, they only go by what their "mechanic" says. They will not forward a copy of his report. Customer service, you must be joking, Louise can't even lie straight in bed !

Bought a car from Crystal motors a few months ago. Had a couple of things go wrong with it after 6 months. Unfortunately these were not covered by the warranty that the car was sold with. Louise from Crystal was extremely professional, kind and helpful in trying to resolve the problems staying in touch with me until a resolution was found! Happy with the service I have received when buying the car and the after care from Louise!

I’ve bought 3 cars from Crystal motors now and never had a fault with any of the cars or the customer service, they have always been polite and welcoming. I would recommend them and will definitely use them again.

I’ve been buying cars from Crystal motor company for the past 22 years. Recently purchased a 22 plate transit custom. Just want to say thank you to the whole team for such an amazing service you’ve provided and always have provided. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Any issues I’ve had they’ve always dealt with it professionally. What a service you get professionally and efficiently. The service is second to none. Thanks again.

Just wanted to put a review out which I normally do not do. I had my car for 6 months, it then encountered a warranty issue. I called the warranty company who where very helpful i then dealt with crystal who got my car in and repaired with no issues. Great company thank you

Update on my last review back in August. Still no further along and now communication has completely stopped. It looks like it will be a legal matter going forward as the car has been misrepresented via their original advert for the car, verbally,via email and via text.Anyone reading this avoid this place. If you think it's the car for you spend hour money elsewhere or you'll have nothing but problems.The reviews speak for themselves you don't get a 2 star review for being a good,honest,customer focused company do you?

One star because I can't leave any less.

After being told that paperwork for the car was on its way several times by Hein and Louise (lies) along with a touch up stick for the paintwork, both of which still haven't materialised, funnily enough.

We were then told that Crystal Motors were taking the previous owner of the car to court because he hadn't given them the paperwork - when the previous owner is probably taking them to court because they are refusing to give him what they promised.

I am now left without any paperwork for my car, and Crystal Motors are now ignoring mine and my wife's communications.

Absolutely shocking company.

Avoid at all costs.

A follow up on my experience with this company. sold the car as it has so many issues with it. the report back from a land-rover dealer was that out of 36 bad faults , 27 would have been present for more than a year. they were being reserved on the fault list as most of the others were possibly over a year. Everything from break pipes that had been over coated with rust kill (which was on the previous MOT ) but not on their MOT issued. to wheel arch patch ups badly done. 5k was spent on this vehicle before I could safely sell it.

Great experience do what they say. Lovely car. Hein was fab! See you for my wife’s car!

Terrible experience at this garage. Sales guys seem really helpful and lovely to start with until the car is sold and rolled off of the forecourt. Then the trouble begins. Aftersales Louise is extremely rude and argumentative and I personally don't feel a role in customer services is for her. She displayed threatening behaviour when pointing out clear terms and conditions within their own contract.

We are no closer to a resolution and unfortunately it looks like we will be fitting the bill.

My advice is to not fall for their charm, look elsewhere as once they've sold the car you'll get nothing but problems and treated with the complete disrespect. Shameful. Spend your money elsewhere

Beware!
3 weeks after purchasing a £20k vehicle, had to be recovered from the M6 following it breaking down. Unfortunately due to 2 major faults, could only be repaired by a main dealer at a cost of c£1k. Warranty company wouldn’t pay up and gave us the run around. In the end Crystal Motor Co. reimbursed less than half what we had paid out, but took weeks to get that far. They went all out to sell us the vehicle but after sales was shocking. Deeply regret ever coming across this company.

Absolutely first class service.
Second time buying from Crystal car motors and everything has been perfect once again.
Went out of their way to help us.
Special mention to louise.

Car does not lock using the remote, without alarm going off within ten minutes. These guys referred me to one company to fix - which they didn't - then ignored further emails. It should have been sorted BEFORE I bought the car..... I'm still stuck with a car that I can't lock using the fob. I personally wouldn't recommend this company

Unfortunately the company runs under two departments. Sales . Nice guy and easy to work with.
After sales disgusting . Warranty is home grown. Would only pay for non original parts.
After 13 phone calls chasing the promised replacement parts and Louise still has not responded.
After 9 months still awaiting tail light replacement along with correct number plate. Not sure what the dvla would say to this .
Hate giving bad reviews but people need to know. Thank you sales . Replace Louise after sales.

The sales process was great. To give them credit they do know how to sell a car. The after service however is shocking. I've called and nobody has got back to me. The final straw was when my car brokedown on the motorway for the second time and landed up with a £1700 bill and the extended warranty I paid for covered £166 of it.

Just purchased my dream car Aldi TT from Crystal Motor Company and it's a beauty!!! 🤗 From the moment both my husband and I walked into the showroom we were given 1st class customer service!!! The purchasing of my car went smoothly and we were even given a bottle of bubbly as a thank you for buying the car!!! The after sales care given also A class!!!
Definitely recommend this company. 👍
