Have been with Cover for Less for 3…
Have been with Cover for Less for 3 years now, had two repairs needed, once on my tumble dryer which was making a terrible screeching sound, this was replaced for me within a couple of days, I was please it was so quick and everything went very smoothly. Recently my washing machine stopped heating the water, the engineer came and took the machine apart and replaced a heating element and got it all back up and running again, very please with everything.

Have your receipts for your goods handy or don't bother
Moved to Cover-4-Less after being a customer with Domestic & General for almost 10 years. Save your time if you don't have receipts for the goods that you want to insure. I had a lengthy discussion with the sales team before I moved and at no point was this mentioned. Was told that their services would be like-for-like with my plan with D&G after I went through what I had with them....... total lies.
Oh, and if you claim within the 1st year, they want the full premium paid in advance.

Thank you for your review.
When you called to make a claim we asked you whether you had proof of purchase for the item you were claiming on, or whether you had the insurance schedule from Domestic and General as proof that you owned the item previously. At this point you terminated the call so we were unable to assist you with this any further.
We accept a variety of ways for you to show that you do in fact own the item and these two methods are one of many, unfortunately as you terminated the call we were unable to explain these any further for you.
With regards to your allegation that we lied to to during a call you had with us, we have a record on file of a call you made in which you asked various questions about the cover provided and we answered these honestly and to the best of our knowledge. We have never claimed that our policies are "like for like" with any other insurer. In fact this would be highly unlikely across any insurer as insurers often copyright their terms and conditions and we therefore would simply be unable to "clone" any other insurers policy terms.
All insurers offer differing cover, inclusions and exclusions. We explained to you that the summary of all inclusions and exclusions is contained in the two-page Insurance Product Information Document, this is a very simple document and the exclusions are on page 1 in bullet points, the layout is the same across all insurers to allow you to easily compare cover provided. You confirmed you read this document when you purchased the cover online.
We are sorry if we have not met your expectations on this occasion. We can confirm we have now resolved the matter as you requested and trust this is now to your satisfaction.
