I used the 3 vogue magazines for £1 im yet to receive any magazines 2 and a half months later they won't cancel my subscription as I don't know my customer reference (I literally haven't got a reference number as I was never emailed a receipt) they refuse to cancel my account so im glad I have used a separate bank account but don't buy from these it is a complete scam and their customer helpers are useless

I was subscribed without my consent. Perhaps even worse PAYPAL refused to accept that the transaction was unauthorised. Don't they read this stuff. Both companies should be ashamed. I will not let the matter rest here

Terrible subscription experience. Be very wary. Charged £98 after three months of discounted subscription with the New
Yorker when I complained they offered to refund 50%. Instead for some unknown reason they deducted $180 from my account! I eventually got that back. However THREE times they confirmed a 50% refund. Never happened. It’s the lies that tell you what kind of company they are.

Unwanted Magazines, Zero Customer Service—A Disrespectful Practice
I never signed up for Conde Nast Traveler, yet they’ve been sending unsolicited physical magazines to my home for months or nearly a year. I’ve tried multiple times to get off their mailing list—starting on their website, then via email, only to be passed between digital and print subscription teams with no resolution. I'm still receiving the magazines.
Conde Nast's customer service has been shockingly bad: non-responsive, disorganized, and seemingly uninterested in resolving a simple request. I’ve never paid for a subscription, and yet I’m now stuck dealing with physical junk mail that I don’t want and shouldn’t be receiving.
If you’re considering subscribing to any of their magazines, think twice—this is how they treat people who didn’t even sign up. Unethical and infuriating.
Their support system is so bad, I don't even have a reference number to put here.

I wish i could give it zero, mailed magazine but email autorenew and non refundable. Can you say scam! Can't wait to see the bankruptcy notice as the magazine business is quickly dieing!

If something symbolizes the recent intellectual decline, it’s Condé Nast. Look at Pitchfork : Conde nast ruined everything they touched, turning it into a hollow version of its early, creative, and inventive self from 15 years ago. Now, it’s just another product, hardly different from a sanitized YouTube channel, stripped of anything that isn’t deemed “ethically” correct.

I WOULD TOTALLY WOULD GIVE THE A nEGATIVE 10 IF IT WAS AN OPTION!! After subscribing to Wired for a year @ 5.00 they hit my bank account for $30.00. Two weeks for a response to my request for a refund I got an email with "deep apologies' but no help. They claimed they sent a email about the renewal. IT WAS A LIE. I NEVER GOT AN EMAIL FROM THEM!
They are saying it can not be canceled for 2025. How they call it customer care is beyond me. The customer portal does not work, it's not possible to cancel a subscription via that either. Predatory practices with regards to renwals
Predatory practices with regards to renewals. I did not receive advance notice of renewal payment taken via paypal (rather than direct debit), which was promised, having immediately contacted their customer service (< 24 hours) they took 15 days to reply then said as it had been more than 10 days I could not receive any form of refund. The renewal price was also more than 100% higher than signing up to a new subscription.

I am being charged $4.27 every month since July for the New Yorker digital magazine. I have never subscribed! They can't find any kind of account for me, yet I am still being charged!

These people somehow stole my business email and have since been spamming me to death from all of their publications. I don't read ANY of them. Desperate and horrible business practices. Don't volunteer your email to this company or you'll never get away from them.

These people are insufferable. They will downrate your comment on the websites they own even if that comment is entirely innocolous and harmless into oblivion because wahhh wahhh boohooo woe is me I don't like what that person had to say.
Their websites are over moderated, awful, the karma system is a disgrace, it has empowered outright bullies to downrate newcomers into oblivion, no one has to explain why they voted your comment down, they feel entitled to do it and not even tell you why.
Avoid their websites. Especially Arstechnica.

Abo Anfrage per E-Mail, wie auf der Homepage angegeben, abgeschickt. Automatische Antwortmail erhalten. Nach 6 Tagen kann immer noch keiner eine Antwort darauf geben. Verweis auf die 0800 Nummer. Nach Anruf kommt man bei der gleichen Dame raus, wie auf der Nummer in der Antwortemail. Da macht es doch Spass ein Abo abzuschließen, wenn es von Anfang an so geordnet läuft! :) Schade, werde es über einen anderen Anbieter versuchen

Bon Appetit/CondeNast Erroneous/Aggressive Billing Practices
I have been a customer since 2009 as verified by their CS Dept. I have my own subscription to Bon Appetit and pay for two other Gift Subscriptions. I have been continuously frustrated with their aggressive billing practices via mail stating "YOU MUST PAY YOUR OVERDUE BALANCE" to ...continue subscription... I am PAID in FULL through JUNE/JULY 2025! Their CS Rep verified all of this info over phone.
The bills received are aggressive revenue generation practices and NOT FACTUAL! OVERDUE ACCOUNT?
NOT ACCURATE! Invoice states DUE DATE 07/03/24.
DO NOT acquiesce to their aggressive bullying billing tactics. BTW I tried to find a Contact US or Consumer Complaint web address on their site to send this information but again they are evasive.
Such a shame that good content is marred by business bullies.

I am a new US subscriber to their Traveller magazine. According to their confirmation email upon payment in full for a year's subscription the first issue was to arrive on/or about May 25, 2024. It's May 10th today & still I have yet to receive the magazine.
So I tried emailing Conde Nast Traveller UK via their own website after registering my account. I emailed them four times. Not one reply to date. I tried messaging them via Facebook & Instagram. No one there bothered to reply.
So I have no idea what's going on with my magazine. I was trying to avoid calling due to the costs and the time difference. They don't even offer a cost free phone number for international customers.
I thought I'd subscribe in order to save $$ instead of purchasing the magazine in person or from other vendors online. But after reading the very poor reviews about customer service I believe I've made a big mistake. I am thinking of canceling the subscription if it's this problematic already. Except I read that the only way to cancel is by emailing them. Or calling! Yes. They charge in full upfront and leave the customers stuck if they've got any concerns and/or problems with their subscription.

Complete scam artists. I cancelled my subscription years ago, stopped receiving the magazine but they carried on billing me. They said they emailed to remind me but they didn't. Disgusting company.
