Hire them for book writing, get full support

They never finished my book and they tried to publish it with errors. I ask for my money back as it was in my contract that if I was not 100 satisfied I could get my money back, asp. I paid up front to get the publishing and Marketing completed on time that they quaranteed in my contracrt but they never did market and Plublish my book. They would not return my emails or phone calls or textes. They block my emails. I made many attempts. I sent cerified mail to Kathy Roberson Ledgal department. no response They have went quiet just like others have said happened to them. I lost alot of money. I have reported them to the FBI , Better Business . The attoney Generals office has not been able to contact them down even though they have web site IP address . I think I lost the most money from this scam, as I see so many other with the same results.

This company refuses to finish my book after I paid for 250 pages 1750.00. They blocked me and won’t finish what I paid them to do because I won’t copyright through them. Now I have to seek a lawyer. Wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.

I have been scammed by them, weird because they provided write-ups to some chapters that were subpar and cover art I kind of liked... but kept telling me about the other services for more money. I got 12 Chapters out of them but they have all disappeared off the face of the planet - I am totally ignorant to sue-ing people, can someone direct me a little? They're in hiding. So, many people are suing them. They opened up a phoney location in Arizona now for the people who are looking for them. You have to contact Kathleen Roberts to serve them notice.

I hoped they would improve their services before writing this review, fearing retaliation with even worse service. However, waiting and hoping has been more frustrating and stressful than accepting the loss.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM.

I have compiled a file with screenshots and proof.
I wrote my book myself; I paid them for editing, fluffing, publishing, marketing, and audiobook recording and publishing.

Despite expressing my dissatisfaction many times (I have screenshots of all my communications), they repeatedly promised better results but failed every time.

The number of mistakes they introduced into my book was astonishing—over and over again. I re-read my own book maybe over 30 times. I have screenshots of their errors and their admissions to them, and a physical copy of my first version as proof of their unprofessionalism.

I had to remove my book from all platforms and do the editing myself, asking them ONLY to correct grammatical errors due to their continuous mistakes in every "final copy" they sent.

When I requested a refund, they refused. This includes the audiobook I paid for that hasn't even been started and the marketing services I have not received.
I paid them close to $6,000 for the most unprofessional service imaginable.

Additionally, I have not received my payments from IngramSpark for the sales of my first version. The payments keep bouncing. I contacted them in March 2024 to confirm if the information was entered correctly, but I have not received a proper answer.
When I asked for an update, they replied, "What is your issue with the payment?" completely disregarding the problem despite promising multiple times to get back to me.
My last email from them was May 23d; I have emailed them many times since and still have not received a response. We are now June 14th.

Apparently, my second version is now available, but I was supposed to receive the links over three weeks ago, and I still have nothing.

They only care about taking your money and do not care about anything else.

From the start, I dealt with Brian, Sandra, Lisa, and now Ryan as my "project managers."

It's a complete joke.

DO NOT HIRE THEM.

I do not wish this upon anyone.

They ruined my first book publishing experience and could have ruined my name as an author with the mistakes in the book.

Not to mention, the number of errors extended the whole process to almost 2 years.

Led by Alex Marshall and Lisa Thompson, this company promised a comprehensive publishing and marketing package for a hefty sum of $999, with an additional $4999 for marketing services that were never delivered.

From the onset, red flags emerged. Lisa, my supposed project manager, admitted she was unsure of my requirements, indicating a lack of professionalism and expertise. Despite sending them an edited manuscript, the "edited" chapters they returned were riddled with errors, requiring extensive rework on my part. Alarmingly, they simultaneously worked on a book cover mock-up that was shockingly subpar, bearing no resemblance to my characters.

As if their incompetence wasn't enough, Lisa audaciously requested more money, a clear attempt to extort additional funds from me. It became evident that US Ghostwriter had no intention of fulfilling their obligations under the guise of professional services. Despite their guarantee of a full refund if dissatisfied, obtaining one proved to be a battle in itself.

The final straw came when Alex attempted to dismiss Lisa's actions as a mere miscommunication, a transparent stall tactic to delay my demands for a refund. It became apparent that US Ghostwriter had no qualms about deceiving and defrauding their clients.

In conclusion, I urge anyone considering US Ghostwriter's services under the guise of Neom Media and NYTimesPublisher.com to proceed with extreme caution. My experience with this company was marred by incompetence, deception, and a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. Save yourself the anguish and avoid US Ghostwriter at all costs.

Thank you for your response, although I must express my disappointment with its lack of accountability and transparency. Your attempt to shift blame onto me for the shortcomings of your company only serves to further undermine your credibility.

Regarding the website: Alex asked if I had a website, to which I responded truthfully that I had a blog. However, the package I purchased included a website, so the distinction is irrelevant. Your assertion that I misled you is unfounded and serves as a deflection from the core issue.

The quality of work: My decision to request a refund was not arbitrary; it was based on the substandard quality of work presented to me. From the outset, it was clear that your team lacked the professionalism and expertise promised. Lisa's confusion on where to begin was indicative of this, and I found it alarming given the substantial investment I had made in your services.

Alex's role: It is evident that Alex's involvement was limited to securing the sale, after which I was handed off to Lisa. This bait-and-switch tactic is deceptive and speaks volumes about your company's integrity.

In light of the above, I stand by my review and reiterate my warning to others considering your services. Your refusal to acknowledge the legitimate concerns raised only reinforces my belief that US Ghostwriting, Neom Media, and nytimespublisher.com are not to be trusted.

U.S. Ghostwriting is a lazy company. They had me write my entire book myself, then when they said they would proofread and edit, they couldn't do that right. They corrected my words so they were grammatically incorrect in which I had to keep telling them to fix their errors. They published my book without the pictures in it then I had to complain to have them insert the pictures and then republish the book after my friends had already purchased the book thinking the pictures were in it. They said they would do unlimited corrections but then Ryan got so frustrated with me when I complained about them not fixing their typos and they ended up publishing it with several typos in it from their end. It's embarrassing for me. They said they would take their time and they charged me thousands and thousands of dollars for low budget advertising and marketing and I really feel like I didn't get half of what I paid for. All they cared about was the money. It's true that they use factious names and are located somewhere other than the US. And now I can't get Ryan to return my text or calls and they have the nerve to ask me to pay more money to get my book trademarked. What the hell!!! My initial review said that I liked working with them but they do ask you to write them the review within a few weeks of working with them and at that point you are naïve about the company. In hind site, I should have waited until the final book was published and truly seen how badly they took advantage of me and my money. Please find another company to use and not this one.

From the very beginning I was skeptical. I quizzed the initial contact, I believe it was Jeff Reed. He was very convincing that he had a complete understanding what I was trying to accomplish. This understanding brought me to this "Ghostwriting" table.
I was not disappointed! The teams ability to tweak my book in ways I would not have been able to do I feel will make the difference of its anticipated success.
The team, headed by Ryan Wilson, was as professional as he was helpful. I was treated as though I was already an important author, and this being my first attempt at writing anything.

This is a scam organization. The writers write at Indian 7tha dn 8th grader level. They con you into spending thousands and barely deliver. The product is substandard at every stage.
