A message from Martyn Roussel, Director and CEO Clickasnap is under new ownership. My team has been improving the site in many areas. One such area is renewals and refunds. I know from personal experience just how irritating it is to have money taken from my bank account for a subscription without warning. It may be legitimate, but it sucks. I have found that Clickasnap has been doing this in the past. That stops now. We will refund all legitimate claims, with no quibble, if made within 14 days. As we further improve the site and add new features, we want you to come back. We do not want you to have a bad experience. We are setting up reminders to prevent this happening in future. Great customer service

It’s a genuine site where you can earn money for pictures but you do need to spend a lot of time on there and get lots of good pictures to see results.
I give the five stars due to their great customer service. I had an issue and Lucie was very kind and caring and helpful. Thank you Lucie

RENEWAL WITH NO REMINDERS - READ FINE PRINT ON POLICY

You’re responsible for managing your own subscription and they do not send you any subscription update renewal emails saying hey your subscription renewal is coming up and you will be charged the X amount on this date.

Even if charge the day of they will refuse a refund cancel your subscription and allow you access until the recently paid for (day of) subscription expires in a year. Even with a kindly and well worded email this will be their response requesting a refund and cancel of subscription, this will be their response.

“ We completely understand that forgetting to cancel a subscription can be frustrating. However, our policy does not allow for refunds when a cancellation has not been made prior to renewal. When subscribing to either a monthly or annual membership, you authorise recurring payments until cancelled. This is outlined clearly at the point of purchase, and we also make this information easily accessible on our FAQs page, even without needing to register for an account.

That said, you are always in control of your recurring payments, and can cancel or downgrade at any time. I can confirm your subscription has now been cancelled, so no further charges will apply. You will continue to receive the benefits of your membership until the end of your current paid period.

We understand this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, but we thank you for your understanding. Should you wish to upgrade again in the future, you can do so at any time via your account settings.”

In my opinion, they are essentially just counting on people, forgetting about their subscriptions and not sending any notifications that they will be charging your credit card in renewal of that subscription. They’re just trying to get away with charging people and counting on them, forgetting to manage their subscription, and then having no understanding after the fact. Terrible customer service and policy stance!!!

When signing up, the auto-renewal terms are shown upon membership selection and clearly at checkout so that everything’s transparent from the start. We don’t send renewal reminders, but we do make it easy to manage or cancel your subscription anytime through your account settings.

We completely understand that it’s easy to forget about a renewal, and it’s definitely not our intention to catch anyone out. Our policy doesn’t allow refunds for renewals that weren’t canceled in advance, but we always make sure that access continues until the end of the current paid period.

ClickASnap is improving

ClickASnap is the only photo sharing platform (as far as I’m aware) where creators can earn few bucks by sharing their photos. The platform is constantly changing based on the constant feedback of the photography community that uses it. Although the platform may be improved for performance, I am hopeful the new changes proposed by the administration team will make ClickASnap a stronger app.

A genuine scam

A genuine scam, they send no reminders, no communication what so ever in terms of renewals. They just take the money straight out of your account even after cancelling your subscription. Do not sign up for this. As stated in most other reviews, a quick easy way for them to make money and they refuse to take any accountability at all.

Do Not Sign Up – Dodgy Billing Practices

I deleted my account and cancelled all subscriptions last year yet I was still charged again a year later for another year . This is unacceptable and feels like a deliberate attempt to take money without consent. There was no warning, no notification and no way to stop the charge once it happened.

To make matters worse when I cancelled my subscription and deleted my account, I never even received a confirmation email — which is super dodgy and unprofessional.

I’ve sent three separate emails about this and have received no response. I’ve never experienced such poor service from any company before. Extremely disappointed with this kind of practice and complete lack of customer support.





Hi Katy, I’m replying here to your response to my review — and I have to say, you’ve completely avoided the most serious issue I raised.

When I cancelled my subscription and deleted my account last year, I never received any confirmation email. That’s not just a minor detail — it’s a serious failure on your part. Without any confirmation, I had no way to verify that the cancellation was successful, which conveniently left the door open for this unauthorised charge a year later. Frankly, it feels like a loophole designed to benefit the company, not the customer.

Your refund doesn’t undo the stress, time, or frustration caused by this — and it definitely doesn’t excuse the lack of transparency, the missing confirmation, or the fact I had to chase support multiple times before getting a proper answer.

This whole experience has been extremely disappointing. I’ve never come across such poor service or questionable handling from any other company.

To anyone considering signing up to ClickASnap — I strongly recommend you don’t. The way they handle cancellations, billing, and customer support is unprofessional at best and feels deliberately misleading. Save yourself the hassle.

Just to be clear, Katy — I did cancel my subscription when I deleted my account. I followed the process, but got no confirmation, no warning, and no way to verify anything. That’s a system failure, not user error.

Your response keeps claiming I didn’t cancel — but I did. And if your system can’t confirm or notify users properly, that’s on you.

Also, it’s telling that I only got a reply after posting a public review, despite emailing you multiple times. That’s not support — that’s damage control.

As our support hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (UK time), your message was replied to promptly the following Monday morning, 9th June. In that response, a member of our team fully investigated the issue, identified that while your account had been deleted, your subscription had not been cancelled, and processed a full refund as a resolution.

We understand your concern around the lack of a cancellation confirmation — and we agree that this is an area we can improve. When a user deletes their account, they no longer have access to subscription settings or downgrade indicators, which would typically show cancellation status. Additionally, subscription status is also reflected in your payment provider account, and we always recommend checking there if in doubt. That said, we’re actively working to improve the visibility of these confirmations to help avoid situations like this in future.

Regarding the multiple emails you mentioned — we would really appreciate it if you could forward any that may not have reached us to help us investigate further. We’ve only been able to locate the one, and if others were sent, we'd like to understand why they didn’t arrive.

What a scam

What a scam. they take your money eventhough they say it is a "free service" when you discover that they have been taking your money without noticing they refuse to give it back saying that i should have contacted them earlier. Dreadful support. avoid at all costs. Signed up for a free subscription which ended up being charged for. They admitted that there was an error on their part but still refused to return the money they took. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

ClickASnap does offer a free service, but we also have optional paid memberships for users who want to access additional features. To purchase a membership, a user must actively choose a plan and complete the checkout process. During this process, it's clearly stated that memberships are set to auto-renew, and this is repeated again in the final payment summary before any payment is made.

We don’t create subscriptions or take payments without a user's direct action and confirmation. Our goal is always to make the process transparent and easy to understand.

We absolutely understand that unexpected charges can be upsetting. Once a membership renews, our support team handles requests based on our policies, which aim to be fair and consistent. In your case, the membership was originally purchased and only cancelled after it had already renewed.

Ich habe ClickASnap genutzt, um meine Fotografien zu teilen und mit der Zeit eine kleine Summe durch Aufrufe zu verdienen. Nachdem ich eine Auszahlung beantragt hatte, erhielt ich eine E-Mail, in der mir ohne Beweise unterstellt wurde, dass meine Aufrufe aus einem sogenannten „Click Circle“ stammen wĂŒrden, also kĂŒnstlich erzeugt seien.
In der Nachricht wurde erklÀrt, dass ich angeblich durch koordinierte gegenseitige Klicks und bedeutungslose Kommentare die Plattformregeln verletzt hÀtte. Diese Behauptung wurde nicht belegt, weder durch Beispiele, Daten noch konkrete Hinweise. Die Auszahlung wurde daraufhin abgelehnt, obwohl ich ganz normal auf der Plattform aktiv war.
Ich verstehe, dass Plattformen gegen Missbrauch vorgehen mĂŒssen, aber es ist enttĂ€uschend und unfair, wenn man als Nutzer ohne Beweislage pauschal beschuldigt und bestraft wird. Wer ernsthaft Inhalte erstellt und sich an die Regeln hĂ€lt, sollte nicht durch spekulative RichtlinienĂ€nderungen oder automatische Systeme abgestraft werden.
Ich hoffe, dass ClickASnap kĂŒnftig transparenter mit solchen Entscheidungen umgeht, z. B. durch konkrete Hinweise, echte Kommunikation und nachvollziehbare Kriterien. Bis dahin kann ich die Plattform nicht guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

All withdrawal requests go through a thorough review process to ensure compliance with our Paid Per View policies, which all users agree to upon signing up. If we determine that these terms have not been upheld, we are obligated to decline the request.

This includes, but is not limited to, uploading stolen imagery, submitting generic or non-original content, participating in click circles, or engaging in any type of activity primarily intended to exploit the paid view system.

If I could give zero stars I would!.

If I could give zero stars I would!.. once again they have taken money from my account for a second year when I had already cancelled my subscription. What an absolutely brilliant set up for them, take pictures, post them, receive no money from them ,delete your account and still have them take ÂŁ60 a year from you via PayPal.
When you try to contact them via PayPal or any email address it just bounces back. Brilliant way to make money for them, what a great business model, yet I'm still getting screwed!

renouvellement et prélÚvement sans la moindre autorisation

Aujourd'hui j'ai constatĂ© un prĂ©lĂšvement de prĂšs de 150€ pour un abonnement Ă  clickasnap, sans la moindre information, la moindre relance... c'est un essai que j'avais fait il y a plus de deux ans. Je n'ai plus jamais utilisĂ© leur service, mais ça ne les a pas empĂȘchĂ© d'effectuer le prĂ©lĂšvement et de me remercier pour ma comprĂ©hension face Ă  leur refus de restituer les fonds... quand une sociĂ©tĂ© est Ă  150 balles prĂšs, je ne suis pas sĂ»r qu'il faille y mettre le moindre kopeck. A vous de juger...

As there was no cancellation request on your account until now, the system processed the renewal as scheduled.

ClickASnap did experience a data breach in September of 2022 where some user emails were exposed however no payment or other personal information was affected.

Since then, we have rebuilt our systems with a trusted security company and are implementing ISO 27001 cybersecurity standards to strengthen our platform.

These are scammers

These are scammers. I have cancelled the subscription 3 yrs back still taking money out from my account. Don't trust them. These are fraudsters. Not to do any subscription with them otherwise you won't be able to cancel it. They will take your money out every year.

They are thieves! They stole my pro subscription, they didn't pay me the $50 I had earned after so much effort and they also banned my account saying that I uploaded images generated with artificial intelligence and that I couldn't when instead there is a category that says that it is possible to upload them.....I strongly advise anyone not to waste time with this scam be very careful!

Total RIP OFF site

Total RIP OFF site, I put a ton of my best images in there last year and made four dollars over the course of 12 months on their premium package. They never sent me a nickel.. and then last week we got charged for another year of service to our CC. we did not know that we signed in for a repeat service fee. Then I asked them to refund it because I did not use the site for the last nine months and there are no refunds. They did not send me a warning email that the funds were going to be withdrawn. They just took the money and ran.
Total crap.

In response to their reply below, which is pure BS, they took my money for a new renewal without me, knowing it, and then they completely cancelled my account. That's what they told me in an email. please believe me when I get screwed like this. I take it personally and I will do anything I can to discredit their organization. This is only a beginning..

In response to your updated review, Please be assured that your account is still active and the subscription is still applied, the membership has simply been cancelled meaning that you can benefit from the membership and its featured until its paid up to date at which point your account will downgrade to free and you will not be charged again.

Just walk away

I initially had a good experience with ClickASnap, but recent issues have made me reconsider my opinion. I followed all platform guidelines, yet my last two withdrawal request was unexpectedly denied due to alleged violations. Despite my attempts to request clarification, I received only general responses with no specific details about what I supposedly did wrong.

As a pro member, I expected more transparency regarding account reviews and payment processes. Additionally, my total views and paid views do not match the claims made about engagement manipulation, which raises concerns.

If you're considering using the platform, I strongly recommend reading through all the policies and being aware that account reviews seem to be subjective. I hope the company improves its communication and support for its users in the future.
