Avoid this scammer company sending mayonnaise which exp 2023, and 2 whole creates of a year out of date tonic water, they need to be closed down by the health department, they are abhorrent, where is my refund you?? If you want food poisoning then by all means order from them if not then avoid AVOID AVOID.

Only really used them to get a box of food because Wowcher had a deal on.
I paid for next day delivery so I’d get it quicker than the weeks on end wait.
When it hit 3pm the day of supposed delivery I hadn’t heard anything from them or the company delivering the parcel so I called them the phone kept ringing out, I emailed no reply, I messaged them on Facebook again no reply, so I commented on a post they had posted and they said they would look into it and get back to me they didn’t get back to me at all. Anyway 5days later I get an email from DPD saying they will deliver my parcel tomorrow, 6days after I placed the order 4days after I was meant to get my order and I paid delivery to get it on that certain date.
The contents of the box was okay ish, a lot of brands I hadn’t heard of but will be giving a go as no choice but to, some bits we won’t use so will have to find someone who will take them. A couple of jelly’s were broken when arrived. It was well packaged.
I probably won’t be using them again mainly because I paid for a certain delivery date and it was days past that I got my parcel and there communication with there consumer is non existent.

All good. Paid for next day delivery and it arrived on time and well packed.

Not sure if they have any clue re packing or if they are just hopless. Ended up having to get a refund through Paypal

My package was apparently damaged in transit and was sent back, a month later despite many emails I have not received a reply or replacement package

I didn’t receive ANY confirmation of my order. I emailed but no reply. I did receive my order SIX WEEKS after I placed the order. The only communication I had in that time was from the delivery company.

Not recieved delivery or communication.
I have ordered £30 worth of food and drinks and never recieved the parcel. Also emailed 3x and not had a single response. PayPal took the money and from clearance xl never recieved a single email regarding my delivery or when I should expect this. Been over a month since payment.

I placed an order on 17th April. On the 22nd May I received an email to let me know that my ordeer was complete and would be passed to DPD for delivery.
On the 28th May I received a delivery which was correctly addressed but the contents and the invoice were for another customer.
I accept that delays happen and that mistakes are made but what is unacceptable is the lack of customer service. I have sent emails asking how to resolve this and I have tried the chat line on numerous occasions but these are all ignored.
I am now left with a box of items which I did not order and do not want and I have given up on receiving my actual order!
My original order number is IN56819 if anyone from Clearance can help.
I had an email from Clearance on the 31st May asking for a review of the items. This email quoted order number IN56819. I replied to this email on the same day. I have messaged you using the "contact us" key and used the chat facility on numerous occasions and these can still be seen when I sign in to my account. Carol Wall

I have provided more details as requested but 10 days later I still have no answer. I have a box full of someone elses goods and I suspect they have mine. Please offer some support.

Ordered on 2nd May, 1 month later and order still 'In Progress' no replies to email or customer service 'live chat' on the website. Didn't think you could get away with this anymore. Absolutely crazy

Yes order received over 30 days from ordering. Still no reason given as to why emails and ‘live chat’ on the website appear to just be completely ignored.

1 product missing from my order. No reply from customer service yet, 2 days after I flagged, which is no surprise.

I replied to your CS email : "We would very much appreciate any feedback you might have regarding our general service, simply reply to this email and share your thoughts with us." on Monday 9/6 at 10.10am.

The order was despatched 4th June after I ordered 2nd May. None of the above is untrue or misleading.

First time using this company, great products very well packaged, customer service is excellent. Will buy from again

I ordered the mystery box and have waited over the 30 days maximum for delivery and had all emails ignored and still not received what I paid for !!

Absolutely awful! Took ages to come and some of it is over 6 months out of date and mouldy. I would advise everyone to stay well clear. Absolutely appalling. Should noy be legal.

If there was a zero star i would use it absolutely disgusted with this company mystery box priced at £29 my sister bought these off wowcher don’t know what she paid but when you use the voucher i still ended up paying £14 for it to arrive today and every single item is out of date some by 5 months would never ever order from here again

Absolutely furious with Clearance XL. I placed an order on the 17th of March and paid for the 7–30 day delivery. It's now well past that window, and not only have my items still not arrived, but the company has completely ghosted me. No updates, no replies to my messages—nothing.

This is disgraceful customer service. They were quick to take my money but have shown zero responsibility or professionalism since. It feels like I've been scammed. At this point, I wouldn’t trust them to deliver a paperclip, let alone an actual order.

Avoid this company at all costs. I’ve never dealt with such a shoddy, unreliable operation in all my years of online shopping. If you value your time, money, and sanity, steer well clear of Clearance XL.

Products not delivered and when you try and make contact no one comes back to you. Do Not Buy from this company its a rip off and you'll end up like me having to claim off your credit card company for your money back.

I ordered the Prime Mystery Box from Clarence XL for my son last Monday, paid a little extra for the 1 to 5 days delivery serve hoping it would arrive relatively quickly. I was seriously impressed! By Friday, the parcel was delivered safe and sound by DPD.
The communication throughout the process was fantastic. I received an email from Clarence XL confirming when my order was completed, followed swiftly by another notification letting me know DPD had collected the parcel. DPD then kept me updated with tracking information right up until it arrived at my door. It takes the stress out of waiting for a delivery when you know exactly what's happening.
As for the mystery box itself, my son was thrilled! It contained a good selection of Prime drinks. If I had one tiny suggestion, perhaps a slightly wider range of different flavours could be included in future boxes, but hey, that's the whole point of a mystery box – the surprise element! You don't know exactly what you're getting, and that's part of the fun.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the entire experience. Great product, excellent communication, and super speedy delivery. Highly recommended!

Good service, but overpriced, only worth it because I obtained an extra discount via another website.

Useless, 43 days and still no delivery. Received after 50 days and threw 90% in the bin as completely moldy, use by date doesn't mean products last forever, cakes 9 months past useby date, this cannot be legal to sell moldy items, reported to trading standards

2 months we waited for our mystery parcel and it definitely wasn't worth the money we have chucked half of it away.
They don't answer you or respond to messages. We thought the items might be a few weeks or months out of date majority of the items were were up to 3 years out of date 😬 customer service is absolutely non existent. AVOID!!!!

I've had no problem with the clearance xl uk.
I have had 2 mystery box and a cake mystery box also.
I've found a few things in the boxes that are from 1.1.24 and its still edible 😋
The amount of grocery in the boxes is amazing...
Please be mindful of best before dates is not use buy so everything is fine thanks you for your website and I have even told my family about it too...
