No response to inquiries,incomplete order delivered on day 57(not including weekends and bank holidays)after finally initiating charge back.

Ordered 7 bottles of hand sanitizer on the 18th may ,I received 1 Bootle on the 4august .I have constantly tried to get in touch with them,they have a cheak to ask me to evaluate their service for delivery experience.i have lost £25 with this shambles of a company .

Items delivered over 2 months after ordering and all drinks were out of date! Some overc2 years! Do not use this company

Unfortunatley, despite being a cusomer throughout the years, the customer service has gone from "area for improvement" to just plain "Awful". They don't respond to emails or the form they have on there website, they haven't even bothered to dispatch my order I placed well over a month ago and now I am just taking it up with my bank to get my money back. I don't understand why the dispatch time takes so long either? I have overlooked it in previous orders but now that I have gone well over the maximum delivery time limit, I must question if I was ever getting it at all?

Wrong books was sent with very long delay

Took my money, didn't contact me, no updates on delivery and no resultant delivery after more than 2 weeks. Had to go to PayPal to request a refund as awful customer service. Be very wary

I never received my order and its impossible to get in contact with anyone.

Wish I could give this company a zero. Brought a Wowcher and used it to buy something on their site. Nearly 2 months and I’m yet to receive my item. No answer on the landline. No answer to emails and webchat is ignored. Awful. Scamming site.

Not good at all! don't bother people.

Product never turned up.told them time and again but never got a refund and never got a delivery

brought a cost of living box with these over a month ago and even paid for a 7 day delivery which i still have not yet received. i have even got wowchor involved now as it was through them. this company has ignored all my emails and messages in the chat part on their site.

I ordered a mystery box April 29th 2026, I didn't receive confirmation that the order had gone to DPD until 16th June and to date (9th July) DPD are still awaiting the actual parcel. No response from emails, their website chat or their contact us forms. Absolutely ridiculous, I would actively avoid using this company. Currently requesting a refund from the bank as no answer from XL Clearance at all.

I ordered (and paid for) two of a clearance item. Only one was in the delivery. The item also disappeared from the website, so I guess they didn't have a second one. Fair enough, but my request for a partial refund was just ignored. Not good enough.

Awful communication - what I mean is they never answered an email or a ‘contact us’ message I left on their website. I know the goods were supposed to be close to sell by or just over sell by date, but some were nearly a year over date, broken and in very poor condition. Everything actually went in the bin. Order received after 2 months from placement of order and will never order from these again. Even tried contacting them to explain the issues and still no response. Awful customer service and awful goods.

Order placed in March and received it in May. Emailed repeatedly to ask for an update, but no response. A number of items arrived opened so weren't edible.

I got exactly what I ordered - I was informed early that the delivery could be 31 days, which I worked out to be approximately 6 weeks, and the parcel came almost perfectly on time. Contents were exactly as I ordered. I think some of these reviews are people being impatient, and I felt I had to leave a review because Clearance XL did exactly what they were required and it's only fair they get an accurate review for this :) I will be ordering again!

I bought my cost of living food box with the wowcher discount code. Box arrived today, lots and lots of stuff, very happy with products, worth more than what was spent even with the additional £7.99 I spent for fast delivery.
Did take a long time to arrive but I got an apology on my invoice. I appreciate that they are busy and maybe next time wing pay extra for delivery. Will definitely buy again just be aware there is a bit of a wait.
Overall everything is as expected.
