I have used Clarkes Golf a few times and have been very pleased with their exceptional service. They are on the phone to talk you through any aspects of the buying process, are friendly and professional and offer very competitive pricing. If you find lower prices they will price match and maybe better, I have been super impressed!

I update my previous assessment. A misunderstanding resulted in communication delays. The very kind Mrs. Sue phoned me to apologize and was very kind redeeming the Customer Service. I was able to find the kindness and professionalism of Mrs. Sue who also offered me a discount on my next purchase to apologize and build loyalty to the customer, whom I have no doubt take seriously. Only those who work make mistakes, but when an error is recognized and everything is done to remedy it, it means that Customer satisfaction is taken with great seriousness.

Quality service and pricing.
I’ve purchased numerous golfing products from Clarke’s Golf from both the Rainford and Formby branches. The service has always been of the highest quality and the pricing competitive. Clarkes allow you to try clubs, drivers, wedges etc on their driving ranges prior to purchase which is always a good thing. I highly recommended Clarke’s Golf.

This company is poor
This company is poor, customer service is the worst I've ever had. Sue the manager is shockingly bad. They entice you in with great deals which probably never exist. Then when you try and speak to them over the phone and ask if the calls are recorded the manager hangs up. Very suspicious.
From your reply Chris more complete lies. When I called in I was very polite as I work on the telephone myself. Chris the ombudsman will want proof of purchase not me. Jesus if you’re head of compliance no wonder Sues the manager.
Your manager sue Actually hung up the phone on me initially when I called back pretended that it got disconnected. When I tried to ask any questions she said there is nothing we can send an email with a very rude attitude which was then mirrored. Which she then provided me with a wrong email address.
It’s not the product Chris as I went and bought better clubs from Golf Bidder a much better retailer. The clubs are irrelevant, if Sue wasn’t Sue rude I would have probably bought the clubs I got from you.
It’s your customer service skills Sue got irate with me when I asked if the calls were recorded and then hung up. She’s rude and supposed to be a manager.
Using excuses as Black Friday as well so unprofessional. Says it all really.
Your customer service is poor the worst I’ve ever received don’t buy from this company use golf bidder. :)
If your reviews are so important to you maybe you should look at retraining the people you let speak to your potential customers. I wonder how many more Sue has lost you. Excuse after excuse pathetic.

It is important customers read both the customers and the retailers comments and make judgment on whether Clarkes Golf deserve the custom when choosing where to make their next golfing purchase
Should we fail in our mission to be the best, we will of course apologise, hold our hands up, accept our failings and do our very best to rectify the situation be any means possible.
However in this instance we did not fail and find your review an attempt to intentionally damage our reputation.
It was Black Friday one of the busiest sales day of the year, we run a live stock website and hot products can sell out extremely fast, you contacted us on the telephone to discuss a set of Callaway Big Bertha Irons, however, unfortunately the very last set of golf clubs had just been sold on the website to another customer. You did not make a purchase, we had not been asked to reserve the product, we did not receive an order/payment from yourself?
When this was explained, you chose not to accept this, your attitude towards our staff became irate, accusing the individual of lying to you and that in fact the clubs had not just been sold (this is factually incorrect and they had indeed just sold) demanding the call is recorded, claiming we have broken FCA regulations and you would be reporting Clarkes Golf to the financial ombudsman. With the seriousness of your complaint a member of our team respectfully asked you to put your complaint into an e-mail, we have received this and have responded, however your request to obtain the information of the customer who purchased the golf clubs cannot be shared due to GDPR regulations
In your e-mail you state………
“Apparently the clubs have just been sold which is impossible as I’ve had them in my basket all day and still says in stock on my screen. I’d also like proof of the purchase as I believe you’re lying”
It is not possible to reserve an item by holding it in your basket all day, a sufficient amount of time is given at checkout to allow a customer to fill in all the details and proceed to purchase, however the system will not allow the product to be held “all day” and after time will allow another customer to proceed to purchase
On this occasion we have not acted irresponsibly and have not failed you, quite simply and unfortunately a customer checked out before you and purchased the golf clubs.

Genuinely helpful pros
Dealt with Clarke’s for many years now. They do look after everyone and have been especially generous to help me out in my moment of need. Jamie Clarke especially and Rob Henderson. (one of their club pros) highly recommended as you will not get this service from a well known golf outlet. 🤔

First time using and I’m very impressed. Very quick delivery within 2 days. I live in Northern Ireland and normally it’s takes an extra couple days to arrive but I ordered Thursday and arrived Saturday morning.

Brilliant service
Brilliant service, second pair of junior golf shoes ordered from here. This time we needed them urgently so despite it being past 2 PM they promised the shoes would arrive the next day and they did. They really could not have been more helpful. Would 100% recommend.
