Some years before, by mistake I booked a tour for a date I would not be able to attend due to a different schedule. This company did not refund the prepayment. Though this was my mistake, I would not trust them for future tours.

If you want to pay for the same thing twice, then City Discovery is the company for you also operating as Veltra. We paid and received a email with conformation of our tickets for Camp Nou in Barcelona. The idea was to "skip" the queue. Don't bother, there was no queue and our email which had an "attachment" that could not be opened on our home computer, our mobile phones or by the staff at Camp Nou, was not valid, so we had to pay again. The Company refuses to refund our money and I will be sure to blog about them on every site, I can find. It is a pity, I can't add an attachment here, as you can clearly see, what I mean about this dubious company.

Tour cancelled and no refund
We booked and paid for 4 eiffel tower skip the line tickets for my twin daughter's 14th birthday treat. We waited and waited....but no tour guide appeared. Eventually the next tour group leader arrived, who said there had been a mix up and if we contacted City Discovery we would receive a full refund. NOT TRUE. Six months and many, many emails later they are denying that the tour was cancelled and refuse to refund the (huge) ticket prices.

After this review was published City Discovery got in touch (see below) and have finally refunded the money. Which is a relief, but shame that it took this long and more than 10 emails from their Travel Consultants telling me that the 'activity was normally facilitated'

We wanted to have dinner at the 58 Restaurant in the Eiffel Tower and tour the Opera House when we visited Paris. Both reservations were made through City Discovery and both worked perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to use City Discovery for future plans.

City discovery offered me the best summary of the city . Saving my time in long queues and pointing the most importsnnt highlights to get the full guided experience is how I feel. Guide is knowledgable and interesting, groups are great sizes. Highly recommending.

One if the two major providers of short trips & experience reservations. We used their services for a meal at home in Tokyo & a Mt Fuji day trip. For very different reasons both were really enjoyable & contact with local organisers oresented no difficulties at all.
Will certainly use again.

Great experience. Our guides were ready for us and were wonderful. Such an easy process. Would totally recommend!

Per the instructions when booking the tour, we were outside the Hard Rock on the date/time of our reservation. We easily found the pink umbrellas that we were told would be the guides for the group. We then checked in, a very easy process, and they broke up into smaller groups based on the tour we selected.

Our tour guide was Sandra, Who had us form a circle and introduce ourselves and where we were from. Turned out there was 13 of us, which I think was the right amount of people for this tour.

We then boarded a nice air-conditioned bus and headed to Montserrat. The views in transit near Monserrat are breathtaking, and once we arrived Sandra explained how the tour would be broken up and what time frame we would have to ourselves. Montserrat consisted of a monastery, hiking trails, statutes, with food and gift shops on premises. Sandra accompanied us for the majority of the time, explaining in great detail about each of the intricacies of the history behind it. During our free time, we took the tram up the mountain side and then hiked back to the monastery, the views are indescribable. Sandra recommended that we try the wine tasting offered in the shop & a local food treat with honey so we did both and enjoyed them.

Upon completion of the tour and Montserrat, we headed out to the winery next. Once we arrived, we were treated to appetizers and a several course meal (including wine) on premises. Sandra then explained the history of the winery and we walked along the rows of grapes and into the castle. We then shared four bottles of wine between our group, with Sandra explaining the type and date of each. We were also given plates of various cheeses and crackers to eat along with the wine.

We then concluded the wine tour and headed back to the Hard Rock.

The entire experience was 5 stars. Sandra made a great experience even better with her knowledge and ability to entertain our group. She got everybody involved and kept us focused during the tour. I've been on over 100 tours in my travels and she has to be in the top 3 for guides.

In summary, this is a tour that a person should take if visiting Spain. Don't make the mistake that some of my friends have made by traveling to Spain but not visited Montserrat. They are very envious of the pictures that I took & stories I shared of both Montserrat and the winery.

A first class tour with excellent guides who have a very good knowledge of English and also great knowledge of both the history and art of this wonderful city. I would highly recommend this well organised, fascinating tour.

She brought us to wine bars that I never could have found on our own.
This was a great introduction to the life of the city that did not focus on the grand historical sites.

Made our trip so much easier by booking the " Skip the line " tickets before we left, especially "Versailles", skipped a 2 - 3 hr line up, plus the office staff in Versailles, were a great help after arriving late, due to the Rail Station closure ??, booked us in for the following day, no problem.

Easy to book with so many great deals to offer.

Our gondola experience was outstanding. It clearly exceeded our expectations.

This is a really top class facility for visiting The Alhambra without hassle and at your own speed, so you enjoy the parts of these great historic sites that appealed to us best. The slight downside for us (neither of us are technically skilled) is that we both lost the information pages on the i-phones we were given.
Such a specially good way of visiting a heavily visited site like the Alhambra!

I had never booked anything on line before apart from the odd books, so i was a little hesitant in booking my holiday to Berlin for a three day city break. I was looking for 'help' when City Discovery came up on my screen to show me places of interest, some of which i had already chosen . So i ticked off my choices and even paid them online with my card. I was told that i would receive emails with each booking i made. To my relief i did and it gave me the confidence to book other items now on line.
All i had to do then was print all i had booked without any worries.

Would like to say that we had very good services from the company. Although my friend did not go on the tours due to illness, they were able to cancelled one of their trip and we had our refund promptly from the company.

I will certainly be using them again and thanks very much for your help.
