I had a great experience with Hajar Travels, the kept in touch and addressed any issues I had promptly. I would recommend them to anyone looking to go for Hajj or Umrah.

This company is a scam. They changed their facebook account because of too many negative comments and reviews. If you want an honest review, look them up on Better Business Bureau

It's actually operating illegally. Check them at the ilsos (illinois secretary of state) website. They are not licensed nor accredited.

From the first inquiry until the end of the journey, Hajar Travels made sure everything was seamless. They treat their customers like family, and you can tell they genuinely care. I will definitely travel with them again in the future, InshAllah.

I was impressed by how quickly the team responded to my messages. They arranged my entire trip, including flights, hotels, and ground transport. Even when one of my suitcases got delayed at the airport, their staff helped me follow up until it was delivered. Amazing support system!

I had an amazing experience booking my Umrah through this travel agency. From the very beginning, Fahad was extremely professional, responsive, and helpful. After my initial inquiry, he contacted me promptly and provided multiple package options based on the times I shared. He clearly explained all the perks and details that came with each option and patiently answered all of my questions.

Once I selected my package, Fahad handled the payment process smoothly and efficiently, and all of my documents were processed quickly and sent through the proper channels. My visa was completed without any issues.

When I arrived, everything was exactly as promised. I was picked up on time, transported for every scheduled trip, and taken to all the tours that were explained in advance. The organization and coordination were excellent throughout the entire journey.

Most importantly, I was able to perform my ibadah in a peaceful, fulfilling, and stress-free way. I felt truly supported the entire trip and was very happy with the overall experience. I highly recommend this agency, and especially Fahad, to anyone planning their Umrah

I am writing this not to discourage travel, but to ensure others are prepared for what may happen. I was a loyal customer who had a great experience with Hajar Travels USA in 2023 so much so that I referred eight people to them. However, my most recent trip in 2025 was a complete disappointment from start to finish.
If you choose to book with them, please be aware of the following issues I encountered:
Visa Negligence: Despite booking three months in advance and requesting early visas to secure Rawdah appointments (which require a visa number), I did not receive my visa until two days before departure.
Last-Minute Changes: My hotel in Madinah was swapped at the last minute without explanation.
Safety Concerns: The transportation was a major "hit or miss." Despite paying for an English-speaking guide, none was provided. More alarmingly, the drivers were reckless and remained on their phones while driving us.
Paid Upgrades Not Honored: I paid for a Kaaba View room in Makkah, but upon check-in, I was told it wasn't available. I paid for a premium experience and received a standard one.
Avoidant Management: When issues arise, communication disappears. I spoke with a manager named Samad who confidently promised to "make things better." It has now been four weeks since my trip ended, and I am still waiting for a resolution.
The Bottom Line: When you are booking, they answer the phone on the first ring. Once they have your money and things go wrong, they are suddenly "in meetings" or "on projects" and impossible to reach.
They tried to offer me a travel voucher to "fix" the situation. I didn't pay them in vouchers; I paid in cash for a specific experience that was not delivered. As a returning customer, I expected professional treatment. Instead, I feel unfairly treated after what should have been a sacred journey.
Advice to others: If you use them, document everything and don't expect the "promised" upgrades to be there when you arrive.
The most disappointing part of this experience is the lack of integrity. This is a religious company whose entire business is built on helping people perform Umrah. In this line of work, you expect a higher level of honesty and fairness. It is deeply unfortunate to be treated this way especially right after performing a sacred pilgrimage.

This is the second time , I am using the services of Hajar Travels. Agent Fahad was outstanding, without any hassle he did all! I was stress free and could focus on other stuffs. In sha Allah , in future I will use their services again.

Brother Fahad is awesome and kept his word in all respect. It was my great experience with the supporting staff in Mecca and Medina. Alhamdulillah, we were able to complete all the rituals. May Allah accept our Umrah and give us the capability to perform more Hajj and Umrah in the future. The driver was very much co-operative in Mecca and Median. The hotel accommodation was perfect. I am so much pleased with all the services and will be pleased to recommend anybody in the future for the service.

Company was ok when they wanted us to book with them. However they are owing us close to $10000 for a year now and we are not getting any responses from them. They have stopped responding to our emails, messages, phone calls and everything. This is our hard earned money and now they are refusing to give it to
Us! Please beware when booking with them!

We travelled for Umrah in Dec 2024 and had to cancel for 2 people of our party. We were promised a refund of $15000 as cancellation was made more than a month before the trip, and for serious medical reasons. Despite over a year of followups, and being promised that pmt will be made, no receipt was made and now the agents have stopped answering calls and emails.
Do not book with these agents. The heartache is not worth it!

I am with my family recently returned from my Umrah trip arranged by Hajjar Travel, and I have to say the experience was outstanding. Their agent, Mr. Fahad Zaeem was extremely professional and took new Loki Jack by Carcare of every detail and stayed in touch almost after each service they provided seamless transportation to booking my airline tickets and arranging stays in five-star hotels, everything was impeccably organized. Thanks to them, my Umrah journey was smooth and completely hassle-free. Highly recommended travel through Hajar Travel.

Had a great Umrah experience with the package from Hajr Travels. Everything went very smoothly from booking tickets to hotel reservations to local transportation. Constant and open communication with Br. Abid was very helpful to know exact status of everything. Br. Abid was also constantly checking if everything was going OK. Both 5 star hotels in Makkah and Madina were really good. Transportation from Jeddah airport to Makkah hotel, from Makkah hotel to Madina hotel and the from Madina hotel to Madina airport was on time with constant communication with the transport co.pany and drivers. It was overall a wonderful experience and will go again with the same agent.

My experience with Hajar Travel during Umrah was unacceptable and deeply disappointing.

I was charged for two Umrah visa fees that were never provided. Despite multiple follow-ups, no visas were issued for those payments, and no proper justification or refund was given. Charging for services that are not delivered is a serious matter and reflects a lack of integrity.

Communication throughout the process was poor and misleading. Key information, policies, and charges were not disclosed upfront and only appeared after payments were made. Basic documents such as invoices had to be repeatedly requested, which should never be the case.

Customer service was unprofessional and disrespectful. Legitimate questions were met with dismissive and sarcastic responses instead of clear explanations. Concerns were minimized rather than addressed, which is unacceptable for an agency entrusted with a sacred journey.

Most alarming was a major safety violation during transportation from Madinah to Makkah. The driver was playing music and actively engaged in a WhatsApp video call while driving. This reckless behavior endangered passengers’ lives and shows a complete disregard for safety and responsibility.

An Umrah agency must operate with honesty, transparency, respect, and strict safety standards. Hajar Travel failed on all of these points in my experience.

I strongly caution future pilgrims to exercise extreme care, demand written confirmations for all services paid, and carefully reconsider booking with this agency.

Hajar Tavel is the worst travel agency, they are scammers. They will promise you big but you will be scammed. Do not book through them. They screwed my family’s Umrah packages, we paid for 5 stars & when we got to Saudi everything was degraded. Be careful of these scammer. Samad is the owner of this company & he is biggest scam. I have all the messages from him as a proof how I was scammed. All 5 stars review you see on trust pilot are fake. He’s paying ppl to leave 5 star reviews. Umrah lodge & Hajar travel is owned by same owner. Do not trust both companies.
