I would give them 0 stars if I could. My husband recently ordered the Shana apron skirt as a gift for our anniversary. On receiving it, while the design and quality was beautiful, we found it was too big. Initially, we had noticed on their website that they are happy to make custom pieces, so I proceeded to send a message via instagram asking if the skirt could be made a size smaller but never heard back. As such we proceeded to request a return as per the returns policy on December 18th. By Dec 24th, we still hadn't received anything so we sent a follow up email to which they finally responded. We heard back from the company on the 24th and they had provided a return address that was not correct and was seemingly in the United States although shipments come from Ghana. We sent a follow up email confirming that the address was in fact in the US and asked for the correct spelling of the city just to make sure it would get to the right place. That email was sent on December 28th. We received nothing back from Christie Brown and decided to take the risk and send the item at our own accord to city that we assumed was where they were located as per the zip code that was showing up as a US address in Virginia. We sent the package on 30/12 and they received it about 10 days later- mind you it is being sent from Australia, plus we had to pay the return shipping. We finally got a response on January 3rd confirming the address was in the US. On receipt, the company decided to penalise us by giving us store credit, not a refund because it wasn't received within the return period of 10 days. I hardly think this is appropriate as there were numerous delays at their end and a clear lack of effective communication. I understand that this was over the holiday period and that is why there may have been delays in their responses, but that lineancy should go both ways. Overall, this was an awful experience and I highly recommend that you avoid buying anything from them if you are not certain it will fit.I have since sent a follow up email asking for the credit to be changed to a refund but have yet to hear from them.
