I’ve just been removed from the program, with a claim that I breached Section 8. I’ve read through that section carefully, and nothing I did seems to match any of the listed violations.

I’ve had this account for years, and honestly, this is getting really frustrating. Almost every time I tried to cash out, there was some kind of issue, and now this happens. From what I’ve read online, it seems I’m not the only one dealing with this.

I’ve lost about £40, which is annoying, but it’s not the money itself—it’s the principle. I’ve always tried to use this app fairly, and it’s disappointing to feel like I’ve been treated unfairly.

At this point, I’m just not happy with the service and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who wants to play by the rules.

Terrible company tried to use app to be notified my account was not recognised. Contacted customer support who told me that my account was deleted due to inactivity. The was told that I received an email to notify me about the closure of my account which was not true and I was also told all the money I had on the account was also lost due to gdpr. Totally ridiculous I feel that they don’t put many offers on so that people don’t use the account in a long time and then close the account without having to pay out!!! Avoid many another apps are better with immediate cash out.

The worst shopping rewards app I have used so far, I use many and this one is really poor, most of the products are not in the shops stated, takes ages to payout and rejects lots of receipts with no explanation, now my account has been suspended for suspicious activity, no other explanation or means to contest it as my account is blocked, many other sites offer better app usage, I suggest using others.

A great money saver, but for some strange reason if you buy non alcoholic wine you need to use the barcode rather than a photo off the receipt, but the barcode reader won't work on the app, so be careful you might not be saving anything

There's lots of items in various shops to buy to help build up the total balance. Cash out is easy and there's no charges if your balance is over £20.

I have used this app a few years now and saved 1,000 in total I was lucky enough to win my shopping total back aswell, highly recommend it I also try new products for free or at a reduced rate

Has become awful since it removed Sainsbury’s in store offers

A great app for trying out new products discounted or free. Have also won prize draws quite a few times now - always check what's to offer on here when I go shopping!

Best app out there for this! Fast processing and no complaints other than please open up your RRP programme and let me in!!

They seem to have given up. Hardly anything is being added anymore.

Absolutely love this app. So easy to use, and the receipts are processed really quickly.
Always loads of cashback offers which give you the chance to maybe try something you may not have bought before at a reduced price, or in some cases totally free!
I've just won my entire receipt total back too, which was a fab surprise, and takes my lifetime total cashback to £625! Amazing!

Don't think they like you to claiming large amounts, been asked more than once to show the receipt and product before they pay.

Nearly £50 in credit lost, wish I had read the other comments before signing up.

They sent my Wife and I an email with "We've become aware of activity associated with this account that represents a breach of our user agreement." and terminated our accounts costing us over £40.

I requested the reasons but they are un willing to give any details sending T&C's which differ from the main Website page.

I have reported this to trading standards as this is nothing more than fraud, they have claim money on these promotions which has ended up in their bank account.

They also seem to wait until you have a decent balance before taking this action - if you do use them pay the 5% and get your money.

Thieves who stole £13 of legally and fairly obtained cashback from me soon after I requested to cash out. They sent an email with "We've become aware of activity associated with this account that represents a breach of our user agreement." and terminated my account. I requested the reasons for this but they responded with "Checkoutsmart reserves the right not to provide any comprehensive details of user agreement breaches to prevent future misuse. We hope you understand this", so they have no reason at all and decided to steal my cashback.

I have now initiated a Subject Access Request for my information which they hold on the account and requested full deletion of my data.

Now in retrospect to the service, the app glitches a lot and their receipt scanner is terrible. There is no manual way to scan receipt images, it's all on their poor auto scan feature which hovers a rectangle over the receipt and takes images by itself. Their "win £10" and "win the value of the receipt upto £100" competitions are fake as well, and their is no benefit to reviewing products. Regardless, there are better and more lucrative apps and services out there so good riddance.

Sometimes the offers are great. Other times it takes a while to get the £20 to cash in but I've always got the rewards and I've just been notified that I've won £10 so that's genuine too. It's really unusual for me to win anything so I'm well chuffed especially as it's the second time I've had a win with them. Thank you checkout smart

Great app to submit receipt and claim cashback. Always great offer and user competitions.

It took me a while to remember to check the app whilst shopping but it has given me the opportunity to try a few things at a discounted price along with a few freebies too. I think it’s a newish company but wish they would change their offers a little more regularly. But like other similar apps, most of the time l can’t find the products in the supermarkets but l think that’s down to the retail promoters.
Another bonus however, CheckoutSmart run a “Chance to win £10 every day”. I can confirm this is real and not fixed as to my surprise, l won!

Totally rubbish app, same old offers week in week out, that most of the shops do not stock the item anyway, coop rockstar energy drink? Getting paid out takes 2 weeks minus their 5% fee. Don't bother with it.

I enjoy trying new products either for free or at a reduced price. Cashback is paid as requested. They also run a £10 daily receipt competition that have just been lucky enough to win. I would highly recommend taking part.
