I bought a tool from cbs that stopped working.cbs pass you to the manufacturer and then abandon you - they then ignore your emails. Don't want to know after that AVOID AVOID

Following CBS reply to my above review I have the following points to make
1.When I contacted CBS they said Ebay wouldn't allow them to give contact details.The only info they gave me was 'ryobi after sales' this is hardly ALL the info I needed.Did you give me a contact name? NO! Did you give me an email address? NO! Did you give me a phone number? NO! Did you give me an address?NO! They could have given me this info when I contacted them directly at a later date but they simply ignored my email.
2.They state they gave me p.o.p following my request.This is NOT true. The message I received via eBay was 'if you need a copy of your sales invoice as p.o.p please do not hesitate to get in touch.So when did you give me p.o.p via email following my request- I did not get one.LIARS
3.Even their reply validates my negative review.They ADMIT they passed me off to ryobi even though under the consumer rights act 2015 the retailer NOT the manufacturer is responsible for faulty goods.
4.CBS are clearly a company consumers should be wary of. If a product develops a fault they will not be interested in helping you. AVOID AVOID

I posted a review regarding a purchase, and inadvertently it made CBS POWER TOOLS LTD LOOK bad for that I appologise. The review was aimed at another company with no link to CBS POWER TOOLS LTD.
The company in question was PIONEER POWER TOOLS LTD who quite legitimately purchased my item from CBS POWER TOOLS and then sold it to me after adding almost £60 to the CBS POWER TOOLS very competitive price. Therefore it is PIONEER POWER TOOLS that you should beware of. They sell on AMAZON MARKETPLACE. and it is impossible to get in touch with PIONEER POWER TOOLS LTD Directly.

Ordered twice from CBS. Great prices and very efficient service both times.

These guys are cheaper than anywhere I could find, all my items were in stock and the delivery time was fantastic (especially as it was free! (Over £100 order)).

When something is so much cheaper than the Ryobi website/anywhere else, you are often a little sceptical of it being genuine or other issues (no offence guys!). But the purchase turned out great.

The packaging was also brilliant, lots of thought went into the shipping of the batteries.

Have already recommended, and will definitely be using again.

Good value garden power tools, with good delivery and communication about each step of completing the purchase and delivery.

Didn't proceed with order. Despite advertising "Free UK delivery on orders over £100" they wanted to charge £10.95 delivery to Inverness on a £100+ order

Bought a Ryobi chainsaw off them. They used DPD as the carrier. I was told by CBS the item would need a signature and I had to be in. No problem. Then 15 minutes or so after the deadline for delivery DPD say they're not coming. It gets rescheduled for the next day; I make sure I am in. It turns up. No signature. Throughout all this CBS took a very hands-off, remote attitude and didn't manage the situation. It was left to me and DPD. I paid a lot of money for delivery and got not a penny back. What I did get though, was a cardboard box, sodden at one end where the thing had spent a night on the wet floor of a DPD van. Quality experience Not

I Ordered a router on the 24/12/20 and even though they were closed over Christmas and new year, the still dispatched it and got it delivered to me by new years eve.

We contacted CBS power tools for some advice on a ryobi hedge trimmer. Les was extremely helpful with his advise and explained everything I needed to know. I placed my order on 5th November at lunchtime and was given a delivery date of 10th November, To my absolute amazement it arrived at lunchtime today, 6th November. Fantastic customer service, what a refreshing change to get that! We have used this company before and had excellent service but felt this needed a review. Great prices and superb customer service and great that you actually get to speak to a real person!

last week DPD messed up a delivery of a charger, even before DPD found it and returned it to their Depot, Lee at CBS had sent out a replacement to me!

Excellent service. I wanted an 18g Nail Gun. But it wasn't in stock. So I signed up to the alerts. A week later got an email from them telling me it was in stock. So I ordered straight away. They were the cheapest. It arrived within a couple of days via DPD. Packaged very well. I can recommend these to anyone

Fantastic Service.I ordered from them late on Tuesday evening via their eBay store and the estimated arrival was within 3 days. My order was shipped out via DPD next day and arrived on Thursday. Very Pleased. Will definitely use them again.

I had a good customer experience with this company recently, so I thought they deserve a good review from me.

I bought an electric chainsaw from them few months back (via their ebay store). After just a few uses and a bit over a month of owning it, it malfunctioned. I contacted CBS Power Tools about the issue. They contacted me back quickly, rectified the problem (full refund), and even apologized for the product braking down even though it wasn't their fault (they don't manufacture this chainsaw, they just resell it). On top of all that, they even paid for shipping the product back, which I actually expected to be paying for myself.

Given my customer service experience with them, I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Oh, and they had the best price for the product in question.

Fantastic service and delivery
Product was well packaged and has been used multiple times in the last week or so.
Be aware the tracking data may not be immediately accessible, but I think this is far more a DPD issue than CBS, and having taken 24hrs or so to deliver my goods I still can't fault it.
I would absolutely by from CBS again and if their returns procedure is anything like their purchasing I have absolute confidence in their ability to handle disputes.

Last week I bought a fuel m18ccs55 circular saw and then this week the fuel M18fjs jigsaw.. both arrived very fast and very well priced.. awesome tools

Everything you need for your home and garden, everything you could make yourself with the help of that tools will be avaliable to you at any moment, it's very reliable store and you can work in your garden in pandemy;)

Bought a Ryobi drill from their own dedicated Ryobi website over the Christmas period and was impressed with the speed and quality of there service. Also found them to have some of the best prices for tools. Will definitely order again!

One of the best companies I have dealt with over the internet. I managed to order the wrong item but it was no problem and they were so kind and helpful explaining what I should do and arranging a new order for the correct item. They even called my on a Saturday to fix things up. Just brilliant and the prices were very good as well Special thanks to Les who was brilliant.

Purchased Makita combi drill, cheapest I could find, very good service and quick DPD delivery, would recommend.
