We offer a wide choice of washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators and ovens both freestanding and built in from well known manufacturers always in stock. Our No.1 priority is to maintain our enviable reputation in offering the very best service to all our customers whether at the point of sale or in the years to come. We are aware that buying a washing machine, oven dishwasher and more is not an everyday experience as appliances are designed to last for many years. Be assured that our sales staff are well trained friendly and eager to offer customers constructive advice on the many products on sale. Our High Street stores are open from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday. Our Brighton store is also open on Sundays from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Your purchase will be installed professionally without issue and a smile by one of our delivery crews. Your agreed delivery slot can be enhanced by a call to your home on the day giving you an accurate estimate of when we will arrive. There is no need to spend all day at home waiting for your delivery. Our crews are very comfortable in ensuring products are correctly fitted and left in an operational condition.

The staff are very helpful and…

The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable, they helped me choose the best product for my needs.
The delivery drivers were prompt and again very helpful.
For these reasons its the second time I have purchased from Carter's.

Fantastic service

We bought a washing machine a few months ago.
Great to use a local company. I called and spoke to a person. Always a result these days.
Very helpful and efficient service.
They took our old machine away and installed the new one. Something the big companies only half do as you have to disconnect your old machine for them. Very happy.

Dennis sorted out our microwave

Dennis sorted out our microwave, got fixed little bit of a wait for the part but that was in the hands of the other company. Really happy with the whole service, excellent communication I will be calling them again if I have any repairs needed.

Great service

After ordering a fridge with freezer box online for collection in worthing branch, I collected a few days later when it was instore and was treated kindly and helped by the manager to the car with it.
10 out of 10 for great service.
Unfortunately it wasn't functioning correctly in oir summerhouse although it was described online as being cold safe to minus 10deg.
After contacting the right person from the business they changed for me without any issues.
They even picked up and delivered the new one for me!
Great customer service
Would recommend using them again
as they have good aftercare and friendly staff
