Although I don't usually leave reviews, I know how much I searched for real experiences from people in a similar position when we first started our fertility journey. If this helps even one person, it's worth sharing.
We chose Care Fertility Cheshire after beginning our treatment at Care Liverpool in January this year, where we had our initial tests and appointments. We transferred to Cheshire purely because it was more convenient to travel to.
From day one, the care we received has been exceptional. Every member of the nursing team has been kind, supportive and genuinely caring. One nurse in particular, Rachael, has made an enormous difference to my experience. We haven't told family or friends that we're going through IVF, so having someone who showed such compassion and understanding meant more than I can put into words.
I'm 39 and my partner is 36. After four years of unexplained infertility, with all our tests consistently coming back normal, we still don't know the cause. Following egg retrieval and PGT-A testing, our first embryo transfer in May was unsuccessful. A couple of weeks ago we had our second transfer, and we've just found out that it worked. Seeing the word "pregnant" on a test for the first time after years of trying is something I'll never forget. The science behind IVF is truly incredible.
The Cheshire clinic itself is excellent. It's modern, calm and welcoming, with a spacious waiting area, easy access and plenty of parking. The environment genuinely helps make what can be a very stressful process feel a little easier.
The app has also been a huge benefit. It's easy to message the team, view appointments, access medication and injection tutorials, and complete forms. Whenever I've needed to call, someone has always been available to help, with out-of-hours support too.
As we've self-funded our treatment, I also wanted to mention the cost because I know it's an important consideration for many people. So far we've spent around £20,000, which has included all of our initial investigations, medication, egg collection, PGT-A testing for nine blastocysts, and two embryo transfers. It's a significant financial commitment, and everyone's circumstances are different, but throughout the process we've felt the level of care, communication and support has reflected the investment we've made. While the cost is substantial, we've never felt like just another number, and for us that has been invaluable.
Infertility is an incredibly difficult journey, both physically and emotionally, but the professionalism, knowledge and compassion at Care Fertility Cheshire has made it easier. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering fertility treatment.

I really liked my doctor he was great
I really liked my doctor he was great . The nurses were lovely too very caring and calm. Everything went well . I will recommend care fertility to people who need IVF just like me. I had a great experience . I learned a lot about my health and wellbeing. I saw and understood what was best for me. I took on advice and followed it and that helped me today. I don’t know how to thank the team 12 years of trying for pregnancy. came to them at age of 40 and now I’m 41 and they did what was best for me. Got married at 28 and had several trips to my gp about pregnancy and they said you need care fertility and I was solved with a solution for pregnancy instantly they were working with me all the way through thank you so much xxx 😁😁😁🥰🥰🥰

I was disappointed with the quality of the information provided and found the overall service unprofessional. In my business, we could not survive if it took two months to get basic questions answered.

Today we attended Care Fertility Manchester for my egg retrieval procedure, and we cannot thank the team enough for the care and support we received.
From the moment we arrived, all of the staff were welcoming and friendly. I was understandably nervous, but everyone went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the morning.
A special thank you to Dr Bamford, Josh, and the entire nursing team for looking after my partner and I so well. Their kindness, and professionalism made what could have been a daunting experience feel positive and manageable. Every member of the team were happy to take time and answer any questions we had.
Although this is just one step in our fertility journey, every appointment we have attended has been a positive experience. From our scans and nurse appointments to today's egg retrieval procedure, we have felt supported, informed, and genuinely cared for throughout. Today's experience has left us feeling hopeful for the next stage, and we are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care we have received from the entire team.
