Everything worked like clockwork but Air Canada was a pretty poor airline for comfort and service

Didn't know what to expect but holiday recommendations and booking were great and we had a great holiday, thank you so much.

Just back from my first visit to Canada, on the Western Journey option, being a single traveller, I wanted the option of an escorted holiday to allow me to discover a new country, without the hassle of driving myself.
I saw an advertisement for Canadian Sky in a newspaper, and having done some research, decided that the tour options offered suited my needs perfectly. Calgary, The Rocky Mountains and finally Vancouver.
The ease of booking was painless, and I was kept informed at all points from my initial booking to eventual departure.
The fact that you that you book on the telephone and not via a web portal meant that the personal service was felt, not everyone's cup of tea, in the current digital era, but it works !!!
No hesitation in giving them 5 stars....

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Every little detail was thought of and all the hotels were more than we expected. Everything went to plan and we had the most amazing time. So thank you Canadian sky we will most defiantly be back to book our next holiday

I can happily recommend Canadian Sky as our trip to see polar bears and then the Niagara Falls was fantastic. All the flights and transfers went smoothly and we were more than satisfied with the hotel choices.
I gave the company an idea of the trip I was hoping for and received knowledgeable help and advice to book it. Whenever I telephoned the office my call was responded to promptly and all my enquiries were dealt with cheerfully and respectfully.
Thank you Canadian Sky for arranging our dream trip - and yes, we saw plenty of polar bears!!

A lot of organising went into the planning of this truly wonderful & memorable experience by this company. It resulted in us experiencing no hitches whatsoever despite multiple destinations, flights, transfers & accommodations. A massive thank you to them from us.

We booked a holiday to the rockies and alaska and everything went well. We were disapointed with the hotel in banff and wouldn't go there again but was happy with the rest of the holiday. Only downside was the flight back from vancouver to london with air canada we had a long wait in the airport and when they were giving the food out as we were the back of the plane so no choice only vegaterian option of pasta which i dont eat so had nothing then breakfast was a yogart and what looked like soggy brown bread which i never ate either. So after a 9+ hr flight no food. Not happy so dont think i would fly with them again. Other than that we had a fantastic holiday.

Canadian Sky did a great job arranging a custom holiday to Canada for me and my wife, taking onboard all our requirements and coming up with a great itinerary within our budget.

We spent five days in downtown Vancouver before picking up a hire car (arranged by Canadian Sky, and picked up from our hotel), and driving to Kamloops where we stayed for a couple of days. Then a long but amazing drive to Banff through the Rockies where we stayed in another nice hotel for a few days, before the final leg of our trip to Calgary.

Every element of the trip was arranged perfectly by Canadian Sky, including the flights.

Would definitely use them again; they were fantastic!

Roy at Canadian Sky put together an itinerary taking in to account our family needs. Having personally visited the places earlier that year he clearly understood what there was to do in each area. We started in Toronto and then headed to Huntsville located close to Algonquin Park, then to Blue Mountains followed by Niagara Falls and finally back to Toronto. All went smoothly - the only slight negative was with the car hire company who were simply not very hot on customer service! But everything Canadian Sky had planned all worked out and we had a great trip - thanks!

There were other companies offering a similar service but after a lot of shopping around and comparing itinerary and prices we took a chance with a company new to us and we were exceptionally happy with our holiday. The voucher system worked well and the hotels were very good - although our Banff hotel didn't have an armchair or fridge. We decided on coach travel as opposed to car hire as we wanted to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Travel and excursions were handled by Brewsters who are the best in the business in Canada. Hotel pick ups were well handled The coach excursions could not be improved. The drivers/guides were excellent and there was a second guide on each trip to assist. No problems using the vouchers for Calgary/Vancouver towers or Banff gondola. The itinerary gave us time to plan "free" days ourselves but we enjoy a certain independence and planned ahead. The Rocky Mountaineer trip is a must. Silverleaf service was excellent and we didn't feel we had missed out by not paying for Goldleaf. The Alaska cruise on the Nieuw Amsterdam was wonderful and we were glad we had chosen the trip ending with the cruise. We did our homework and pre-booked shore excusions (far better value than the ship's) and these worked well. The flights on Air Transat were ok. There is one free drink with the (basic) meal and we luckily had our own earphones to watch the movies - or we'd have had to pay $9 each. We paid more than we usually spend on a holiday but this was to celebrate our wedding anniversary and this trip should be on everyone's bucket list. Exceptional value and service from Canadian Sky and we will, without doubt, travel with the company again.

Well put together itinerary and almost seamless travelling. Nothing too onerous. A lot of driving but sufficient time to do each leg and with two of us driving it wasn't an issue on largely quiet and very well marked roads. Sat nav a boon for when we got to towns although not impossible to do without it. Couldn't find the satellite signals when we picked the car up in Vancouver as car was in underground car park. However we had already written down instructions from google maps and followed the route suggested by the travel book. Lovely holiday and would like to go back and do it all again!

I had not heard of the company, however I noted they were part of the Tropical Sky group who had excellent reviews, therefore decided to book through them. I mainly dealt with Julie at Canadian Sky and all information recieved was good, unfortunately on completion of the booking two of the hotels could not be booked and they offered me two alternatives, which they asked me to approve before making the final reservations.
I received all the information a week prior to the holiday, I had no issues with any documentation, the pack I received at the first hotel in Calgary and directions and the locations of the hotel caused no issues. I was offered a Sat Nav on hiring the car and decided not take one and to be honest aprat from getting into Calgary, I would not have needed it. With the maps provided and the routes in the pack was of a good quality a sat nav would have been sat in the glove box for the 14 days. The way the hotels are located on the routes you do not have to go off the route and was easily found, even when you got into Victoria and even Vancouver, we literally just followed the road and the hotels were either on the same road or just set back.
The hotels were all of a good standard, 3 of the rooms we had namely in Calgary, Kananaskis and Victoria we were provided a suite, the remainder all the rooms had 2 King size rooms. Any food we ate in the hotels was of a good quality. I can certainly recommend Coyotes Deli and Grill for Breakfast in Banff, located just across the road from the Mount Royal Hotel.
Overall an excellent trip, route, and complete package, we are now looking at booking a 2nd road trip to the Eastern side of Canada and will certainly have no qualms in booking through Canadian Sky again.

We booked this holiday several months ago.
The initial booking took several phone calls to get the paperwork correct.
This caused concern.
When the initial itenary came through we were missing vouchers for car hire
Only got the complete paperwork the day before we left after making further call
I understand that there had been problems with there computers but not really our concern
Not the best of services
One of the hotels booked did not have reservation when we arrived but due to the time of year a room was found.

Before we booked we were very aprehensive as not many reviews for canada sky online, but after spending 11 days on a self drive tour all our fears were gone.
Excellent organisation and planning all the way,no hassles whatsoever,hotel accomodations were great,duration at each location was just right,not rushed and plenty of time to see anything at our own pace.
i would highly recommend canadian sky to anyone.

From start to finish the travel agent at this company was fantastic. She really helped to make this trip perfect and tailored to our needs and requirements. It took a couple of weeks but we got there. Everything about this tour was perfectly timed and the hotels were perfect (although we did upgrade one to a slightly better one in Banff). The cruise was fantastic even though we had a slight problem at Ketchikan where the ship hit the dock due to bad weather, but this has nothing to do with the company. Overall a memorable and pleasurable experience in dealing with this company.

Added a week on the front of the tour in Banff with Canadian Sky arranging the changed flights and car hire to suit. Everything ran like clockwork from getting on the flight, car hire (nice brand new car), hotels all good, joining the fantastic Rocky Mountaineer train and finally the Celebrity cruise into Alaska. Whole itinerary was well planned and executed leaving us to enjoy the holiday worry free.

The excursion to Niagara was fabulous. We got so close to the horseshoe falls by foot and by boat, it was an incredible experience. We had several other stops including Niagara by the Lake, the prettiest town in Canada?
The city tours of Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec and Montreal were all great and with all the journeys between them being on Via Rail, it was very relaxing.
I would recommend upgrading to Air Canada, as it was so much better than Transat that we used when we went to the Rockies. We also upgraded to Superior hotels and for the modest extra charge it was worth it.
