Campervan Finder Omdömen 

Für 20 Tage einen Camper (Toyota Hiace 'The Sturt') mit Hilfe von Jeffrey gemietet. Das Fahrzeug entsprach meinem Budget und bis auf 2 kleine Details habe ich bekommen was ich bestellt habe. Der gesamte Vorgang ist sehr unkompliziert. Campervan Finder kann ich sehr empfehlen.

We opted for campervanfinder twice (2 months Australia, 5 weeks New Zealand) and we were not disappointed!
Before contacting campervanfinder I did a lot of research and compared prices and different vans. I was really not sure what to chose for a longer trip with a 5 year old child. When it comes to our needs for the two trips I consider myself rather difficult since I worried a lot about many things (child, old and inexpensive vs. new and expensive van etc.). AJ was very patient and discussed all the aspects I was not sure about. Eventually we went with the cheaper option and we were really lucky! AJ‘s offer was the cheapest compared to all my research, the old vans did not cause any problems at all and AJ made sure that all our needs were taken care of - several times! He was always available, called the rental companies whenever I had a question and much more!
I highly recommend campervanfinder and wouldn‘t hesitate to book again!

Travelling with my partner it was really important to me that our trip was as smooth and hassle-free as possible.
During the whole process, the team at campervanfinder.com.au answered all of my questions and gave me complete confidence we were making a good choice in booking with them.
I was more interested in making sure the booking and trip was perfect but they also managed to get us fantastic rates compared to other sites.
I knew nothing about the right vehicle for us but they asked what we needed and then gave a few recommendations, we went for a motorhome so we had the benefit of a toilet and shower and I am used to driving vans anyway so it was perfect.
When it came down to it we had a flight delayed which meant our original pick-up was delayed. The team managed to adjust things so the later pick-up was no problem at all.
Great communication, friendly service and competitive rates. Five stars! I would definitely recommend for an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime trip.

Great Work and fast informations from nice people

Wir waren sehr spät dran mit dem buchen (Dez. 2023) für einen Camper im Februar. Natürlich war die Auswahl dementsprechend schwierig. Ich habe relativ lange selber Angebote verglichen und dann bei den Versicherungen gemerkt, dass viele Anbieter dort praktisch nichts übernehmen oder zu hohen Kosten.... Daher habe ich mich für Camper findet entschieden. Dort hat Jeffrey alles geregelt, inkl. Fähre und super schnellen Antworten per Mail, Danke. Wir wussten, dass der Camper günstig war und wir deswegen Abstriche machen mussten. Dafür kann der Vermittler jedoch nicht verantwortlich gemacht werden. Bei direkter Miete wäre es auf genau das Gleich herausglaufen.

Made a booking, paid deposit and trying to contact company about collection details. Impossible to contact- telephone number not being answered, no reply to emails , no reply to messages. Communication is shocking and now wondering if this is a legitimate company. ??

We communicated with Marius and he was pleasant to deal with. We ended up first renting a normal camper with them, which after some time we decided to change for a 4x4. However, Campervanfinder's rate was very uncompetitive in this vehicle category, so we wanted to cancel the booking having been told by them that there was no cancellation fee until 60 days prior to the rental to start. This is in fact true, and that's the conditions of the actual supplier of the vehicle (in this case Let's Go Motorhomes). HOWEVER, Campervanfinder kept our entire deposit ($1'300). Yes, it's stated in the terms which they provide when you book, but who reads this stuff really!? In the end, they offered us to make the deposit available for a next trip of similar length and cost - but as this is a once-in-a-lifetime for us, the deposit is lost.
So, no cancellation fee means with Campervanfinders = They keep your deposit in full.
It's much better to rent directly with the actual vehicle suppliers or agents which abide by the terms of the vehicle supplier for the cancellation and refunds part. There are many of those with much more favorable terms in this regard.
We are very unsatisfied.

Not a good experience with campervan finder.
Marius was very patience when trying to help us find a van for our 6 weeks trip down the east coast, but his offer was beaten by another company. When I wrote him that we received a better offer from another company he seemed like he didn't believe it at wanted evidence. I didn't like the way he communicated but he did beat the offer and we ended up choosing campervan finder because of the price. I asked Marius several times in our emails if the price he gave us included the full insurance with no extras what so ever. He said that the offer did include the “stress-free-incurance” which I therefore assumed would include everything (I asked him in 4 emails if he was sure there was no extras). We were quite surprised when we picked up the van and apparently the roof wasn't covered at all. The van contained a rooftop tent which apparently wasn't covered either. We were driving this van for 6 weeks and of course we weren't taking any risks. So we had to buy this extra insurance for around 1000 AUD. Big surprise for us as we thought we had done absolutely everything to make sure everything was covered. Afterwards we communicated the dissatisfaction to Marius who seemed like he didn't care. We rented a Jucy van, and I recommend everyone to rent directly through them. Their communication has been way better as they actually seemed like they care about giving us a good experience. So to sum up, don't rent anything through Marius. He is just trying to beat offers and then you can pay the hidden insurance when you pick up your car. Will never recommend to anyone.

Made a booking in Jan 23 for Dec 23 but had to cancel 10 days later. Excellent service for booking but took my entire deposit of $1100. Had all the terms of the motorhome companies terms in regards to cancellation fees but only had a please visit website for terms and conditions. Was very misleading as the motorhome company only starts charging 60 days prior to collection. Be careful as they collect a huge non refundable deposit and dont tell you and you dont get it back. Suggest you book directly with motorhome company for that reason.
