Absolutely filthy, had to complain about the state of the room and there were bedbugs which were denied. I have pictures and videos

Dirty caravan run down moved to run down apartment that was surpose to be off gold standard no first aider could be found on site when needed one 3 weeks later recieve only apology

They need to close Minehead Butlins down and do some major work. Very run down and dirty. We stayed in a comfortable plus accommodation and it was not pleasant. Stained bedding sheets. Dirty carpets. Dust everywhere. I found clumps of hair in my bed and on the floor. Stains all over settee. The furniture was damaged. The price for this weekend was not cheap. The swimming pool area needed a good scrub and the toilets on the resort were dirty. We left a day early as couldnt stay here another night. Its so expensive on sight too. Please dont bother save your money and go elsewhere

I will not be taking my grandchildren here again, dirty used bedsheets left on the beds in our supposedly cleaned apartment on our arrival day, absolutely disgusting, and a very poor response from Butlin's following my complaint. Basically saying "Soz about that, we don't usually do that and promise not to next time you come if you let us know so we can make sure!!
Also if you are considering the Dinearound plan, check that the restaurants are providing the menu being advertised as Papa John's at Skegness was only buffet with long queues waiting for pizzas to come out, unimpressed with the failure to mention this at the time of booking. The response from Butlins basically saying it was my fault for not speaking to the manager....except, I did!!

Went to Bognor Regis, its not cheap paid for comfort plus, room was grubby with crisps down side of sofa, paid for premium dining in yacht club , dont bother food was poor , if you didnt go when it opened there was hardly anything left used it twice out of the 3 days
second time just to see if we were unlucky first time but sadly no
whole place needs money spending on it a lick of paint new pool tables etc

I had a great holiday , however i disappointed with the room. The adults room was fine (with a tea station and glasses)but the kids room had no lamps ,the bed covers were not the greatest quality, and they had nothing to drink from
.plus the bathroom lock was broken and there was no signal whatsoever. I will say that there is lots to do and even a free restaurant! Definitely check out the show “iconic” and the circus!

This has to be the worst holiday we have ever had.
This was our first family holiday to Butlins and we will never return.
We paid for Gold accommodation and early check in. We could not access our room at the time specified, upon eventually entering, the accommodation was extremely dirty. Dust and cobwebs cling to walls all over, grease, grime and dust in the fans in both the kitchen and the bathroom, furniture falling apart and broken, nails sticking out of walls, oven not working and smoke alarm going off every 5 mins when trying to use said oven!
We ate out one evening and used their BServe app and it took an hour to get served cold, tasteless food with ridiculously small portions. We also used the same app in Reds bar and it took over an hour and me going to the bar before we actually got our drinks.
We had no hot water for a day and a half so ended up boiling the kettle to get a wash.
Many complaints to Guest Services and they initially offered me a refund of £158 on a £1648 holiday - what a joke.
7 days of stress rather than relaxation - they eventually came back with £329 refund but that was the best they could offer.
I would not recommend going - probably cheaper to go to abroad where at least the weather is better!

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Butlins bognor regis. The accommodation was in very poor condition and nowhere near the standard I expected. The toilet had clearly not been cleaned properly, the bedrooms had a persistent unpleasant smell, and there were spiders and cobwebs throughout the rooms.

To make matters worse, there was a leak in the bedroom which left the floor wet and uncomfortable to walk on. Although a plumber eventually came to fix the leak, the issue was handled poorly. After their team attempted to clean up with a hoover, the room was left smelling even worse than before.

Despite all these issues, no courtesy was shown – there was no offer to move us to another room or provide any form of refund for the inconvenience.

Overall, the experience was unacceptable. The lack of cleanliness, poor living conditions, and complete disregard for guest comfort made this a deeply unpleasant stay. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone unless significant improvements are made.

Just needed to change a name on the booking because somebody couldn't go. You can't do this on the website so they can charge you £20 for the privilege. I am months away from arriving and full guest details weren't even confirmed yet. Total rip off.

We booked our holiday with the expectation of a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience. Instead, the discoveries we have made from our comfort room has caused distress and discomfort at the very start of our stay.

Due to all of this my family and I have had to leave a day early as we just couldn't bear it no more. We didn't even feel clean after a shower in our room. Absolutely Disgusting.

The gold was was gold Allright yellow dirty absolutely disgusting DO NOT GO TO THE DIRTY STINKING PLACE ITS ON ITS KNEES A JOKE STAY AWAY IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE ILL THE HEALTH AUTHORITY SHOULD INSPECT THE BEDS AND BUILDINGS BLOODY DIRTY STINKING PLACES AND THATS GOLD THERE ARE ROOMS WORST THAN THE GOLD WE GOT GIVEN WE COMPLAINED AND GOT ANOTHER GOLD ROOM NO DIFFERENCE STILL DIRTY AND STINKING THINK OF YOUR CHILDREN DONT GO TO THIS PLACE. Honestly we're usually excited to go to butlins but this time was disappointing first the caravan didn't have the best cleaning job in the world, there's was missing cutlery the shower was cold and for some reason there's was no tv in the bedrooms. We ate in the dinner and the food was awful or even though it was overpriced. There's an arcade machine that was playing a disturbing song that give my son terrible anxiety but we had no idea witch machine it was. My son found the water park queues a bit overwhelming. Also near bedtime we heard loud music that was annoying and we had no idea where it was coming from. The sky park was good though. But we might not return.

We went as a family of x 16 & the x 3 apartments we stayed in were very poor / dirty / bad smells from the kitchen area / carpets sticky & dirty

We had x 3 Comfort Apartments on Ocean View & they were awful.

Currently at butlins minehead. Book a room with kitchen. They put us in a 2 bedroom with bath room. No kitchen. Phoned customer service they won't 250 to upgrade us. I will not be coming here again

My family and I visited Butlins Minehead for a day visit. It cost £86 for the four of us as they class a 15 year old as an adult! We checked in at reception to a woman who couldn’t care less, she gave us no information or where anything was. There were no staff around to ask either so had to find everything ourselves. We mainly visited for the splash pool which it states on the website you’ll have unlimited access to, not the case you have an hour and a half, queuing for the rapids slide took an hour itself! The changing facilities were filthy, hair and dirt all over the floor, dirty nappies left in the changing rooms, what looked like blood on the wall of a changing room, cold showers and disgusting toilets. I did not notice a large family changing room either!
The fairground was ok, extra charges for go carts and amusements stalls which was not mentioned when booking. The whole outside of the building looks run down and dirty, including the accommodation overlooking the beach.
The entertainment hall and arcade is dirty and smells, the floor is sticky and carpet dirty. We didn’t eat there but there’s plenty of choice, unsure of the quality.
Overall it was a fun day for the kids and the splash pool is ok but I do not feel the cleanliness of the resort is acceptable so definitely would not recommend booking a holiday here.

Dirty accommodation no wifi long waits for food and drinks paid for gold accommodation but it was Less than bog standard nothing good about this camp (Skegness)

My son and Iwent to Butlins for our usual summer break at Minehead in July. My son is 13yrs, autistic and loves Butlins. We booked the full food package for our 5 day holiday . However things turned very sour. The first thing I became aware of was how dirty and scruffy it had become with litter everywhere. I also said to my son how dirty the carpets were at the ocean view dining area were and a general of cleanliness. We were also gobsmacked that they allowed a fully clothed group of Muslims into the splash swimming pool where it clearly states appropriate swimwear must be worn. Worse still on the 3rd day of our holiday my son was violently sick in the early hours . After speaking to customer services later in the morning they said we had to leave the resort and offered us a days refund. My son was very very I'll and upset. My son is still being sick 2 weeks later so I'm convinced it is food poisoning as we only ate from the Butlins food establishments. I have asked for a refund or another holiday as we missed half of ours due to illness. 2 weeks later Butlins have refused both of these requests and offered a days refund. We will never go back to Butlins and I would advise anyone not to eat from their restaurants.

Prior to going was so worried because of the terrible reviews, our experience was nothing but positive.
Gold 3 bedroom apartment Neptune Court - clean and comfortable
Premium Dining plan- loads of choice and catered for dietary needs
VIP passes - a lot of money but made it so much easier and front table seats every show
Pool- awesome especially the rapids, the pool party was great fun
All worth every penny, my Grandchildren had the best time and so did I 🤩
