An excellent experience
It’s been a year today since we completed a slightly complicated move from Germany back to the UK with Butler Smith Specialist Carriers. Looking back on the difficulties and uncertainties we faced at the time, we remain deeply grateful for their invaluable help, reassurance, and their easy-going yet thoroughly professional approach.
From the moment they arrived, we felt at ease. Their experience as a family-run business was clear in the calm, organised way they handled every aspect of the move—particularly the transfer of our upright piano, which can be more challenging than a grand due to its structure.
They may be a small team, but they are true experts in their field and exceptionally well organised. What stood out most was that their support went far beyond a purely transactional or “coldly professional” service—they brought a human touch, understanding, and reassurance at a time when it really mattered. That quality, we are sure, is simply in their nature and something others will experience when working with them.
We are genuine twice- repeat customers, having first worked with them in 2018, and returning to them again for this move. A previous review we left doesn’t seem to have appeared, so we’re posting this again on the anniversary to say thank you.
