Product I ordered wasn't in stock, it had a "collect in 3 days" availability. Brewers took the order but arranged for me to collect from the manufacturer same day, who is also local. Worked well

On the Friday I was promised a delivery…
On the Friday I was promised a delivery for the following Tuesday morning.
On the Tues I was told the paint I ordered wasn't even on the order for that particular day.
The member of staff then promised my refund would go straight batto my account. Even though everyone knows that isn't the case.
I had a very tight deadline,being made false promises put my job back by 5 days.

Recently ordered two sample pots of…
Recently ordered two sample pots of Sadolin Superdec Satin at a cost of £15.82, to paint summerhouse. We had explained we wanted a semi transparent finish and were advised this was the product we needed.
The colour samples on line are misleading as they show the wood through the colour. Having tried the samples out, it was very apparent this was a solid colour, and also not colours we liked.
Very disappointed with the whole experience and have shopped elsewhere as a result.

I'm sorry to read your review. Sadolin Superdec is described as opaque on the website, apologies if this wasn't clear in the description. When buying online, it is more difficult to see the exact colour shown on the website and therefore we would recommend looking at a physical colour chart or buying sample pots. The coloured Sadolin I purchased was vastly different to the colour chart. It was very disappointing and I wasn’t at all happy with the result.

I'm sorry to read your review and to hear you were disappointed with the result of the product you ordered. When buying online, it is more difficult to see the exact colour shown on the website and therefore we would recommend looking at a physical colour chart before choosing a colour. In addition, the original colour of the wood will make a difference to the finished colour which is why it may have been different to what you were expecting.

Glad I found this place!
It took me so long to work out the original paint colour for my interior wood it had basically been discontinued. No problem for the gents in Aylesbury, they mixed some up for me within the hour. On top of that it was easily the best consistency wood paint I've worked with.

The Coovars anti-slip paint I ordered had a heavy sludge at the bottom of the tin and 2" of liquid at the top indicating that the paint hadn't been prepared well. The manager at Brewers in Aylesbury dealt with the matter in a quick and efficient manner. Excellent service!
