The combination doorbell with fingerprint recognition and deadbolt actuator are a good value. At first, I connected the lock to the door, then connected it through a Bosma hub. The device would work manually, but was unable to connect it to voice assistants, (Alexa or Google). This is even though the hub was recognized. Once I connected the camera/doorbell to power, then I was able to quickly and easily get voice control to work. The connection has been operational for approximately three days in total now, and have only once had to reset my voice activation sequence, as the lock/hub was unable to understand my voice activation code. Once I easily reset the code, the devices are again responding correctly.

2 day shipping was using the USPS. We received in 5 business days. Camera is our 2nd one. The first unit is fine however the 2nd shows a pink coloration to all live and recorded video. Adjusted all settings nothing makes the pink go away? Also this second unit refuses to find door contacts. When I emailed for a tracking number on late shipping I received a snarky email in reply. I will ask for a replacement unit. Not optimistic about the outcome...

I was first introduced to Bosma through their crowdfunding startup. I've now purchased the Aegis Smart Deadbolt Lock, the Sentry Camera Doorbell, and the Fingerprint Scanner attachment.

I had a few problems getting them all integrated together and ended up "bricking" the Sentry (they had to send me a replacement). They provided quick efficient service considering we are in the middle of a global pandemic.

They walked me through troubleshooting integrating all of the modules together and helped me get them all working.

Great company! I am really enjoying having a smart lock that works with my video doorbell. Shipping was fast and the installation was super easy.

I will have to check out their interior security cameras as well.

I highly recommend the Bosma aegis and doorbell. Though I have not gotten the doorbell connected yet will be having an electrician come in to do that for me soon. My only wish would be Bosma get on the HomeKit list of Apple. One of my favorite features is the auto unlock feature on the aegis lock.

You need to develop a detection zone setting on the doorbell cam so that users can choose a specific area for activity to generate a logged event. Users that live on busy streets with doorbell cams facing the road have way too many unnecessary events. Accordingly, the excessive event notifications eventually render the function useless because the user never believes it is an activity that should be reviewed.

Once I learned the app, including the new one (the learning curve for me was rather high), it was easy. Had some trouble with blue tooth connections. Now that it is working, I have no complaints. Directions could be made simpler.

The App is getting better but still random messages that my door is unlocked

Love it. Use it for monitoring pets when not home.

Bosma Sentry Video Doorbell is an excellent product.
