Boots Hearingcare - Oxford Omdömen 31

I’ve been wearing hearing aids for nearly a year now, first fitted by Matthew Minton, at the Oxford branch. The after care service from him has been superb, whether for scheduled follow up appointments or for those to address my concerns. He is always so kind and attentive, and thorough, taking time to explain and to rectify any problems. I’m very impressed, and grateful!

Awful experience. The audioligst was so dismissive of me and didn't seem to want to discuss my concerns and was only interested in flogging me a £4k hearing aid. Went to Specsavers instead who listened to my concerns and recommended a hearing aid suited to my needs. They also did more testing and explained the results in detail

patient thorough test and then chose hearing aids. was not pressurised into buying the most expensive, in fact the opposite.

Hearing test was thorough and well explained. The options on the type of hearing aids were explained clearly in a friendly, helpful manner.

I felt a little nervous at first but was immediately put at ease. My audiologist at Boots Hearingcare was amazing. He was very easy to speak to and very understanding. I had two hearing tests and he explained very carefully everything. I tried the hearing aids and chose the ones I wanted. Through this process I felt very reassured and very happy with the outcome.

They may improve with time but I cannot detect any significant improvement in my hearing with these new and expensive hearing aids. I am waiting for a telephone interview with the audiologist concerned. If I was starting again I would certainly want to test other makes and models of aids to see whether they might make a difference.

Product remedied my hearing problem though I think it is expensive even with the 15% discount.
Service was good in the shop and all the staff were very helpful and accomodating.

Jon Hendry understood my nervousness about fitting and wearing aids for the first time, but he made the process so easy. He answered all my questions,and all explanations were clear and helpful. I left the Hearingcare location wearing the aids, happy, reassured and comfortable.

I can thoroughly recommend Boots Hearingcare for a comprehensive hearing test and after sales care. There was a great deal of detail in the process in order to establish the correct level of product required. At Boots suggestion I took my wife to the hearing test which enabled her firsthand to see the level of my hearing loss. The appointment(s) were conducted by Minton Mathew who explained everything as we went along and was more than happy to answer our questions.

Jon Hendry completed thorough tests on my hearing, helped me understand my hearing challenges and explained how hearing aids could help me. I’m really glad to have him as my audiologist on this journey to better hearing.

Booking and on time to booking. But no wax removal

This is the first time of using the Boots Hearingcare, usually I use the NHS. The hearing test procedure was fully explained, and the results helped me to see where I was struggling with my hearing. The audiologist was excellent, and he explained what type of hearing aid I would need based on my hearing test and social and work difficulties. Far better than the NHS hearing care service.
