Absolutely appalled. Just got a tragus pierced this morning in Manchester by a girl whos name started with N, cant name it as it gets removed but(Multicoloured hair and double brow piercings) and the angle and placement is completely wrong. It’s practically on my face and the angle is nowhere close to perpendicular to the tissue. I went back and they tried to convince me that my anatomy was making it look skewed and then it was due to the jewellery and lastly that it needed to try healing. I didn’t feel welcome or comfortable. Not to mention how I was made feel when I went back (within 5 mins) to tell them about it. I left it in so that I could get a second opinion from a different piercer who took one look at it and apologised for the original piercer. The second place offer to re-do it properly for me for free and only charged me for the jewellery due to my experience in Blue banana. They did it perfectly and made me feel incredibly welcome and valid.

Blue banana did offer 3 free piercings but I will not be using them as I do not trust them to even do a lobe. There are many better piercers within a 5 minute radius of this place therefore I strongly discourage you from coming here. Also if you do decide to go here, they will initially try to sell you 14k gold expensive options and say it’s the only choice and only after they will offer titanium. Will not be returning.

God forbid you put an item in your basket don’t buy it because you’ve seen it cheaper elsewhere they will continually harass you with emails

Had two nipple piercings changed and eye brow piercing and felt relaxed and at ease staff are always polite and helpful with questions highly recommended to everyone for body piercings.

Ordered 2 band tees, arrived on time, well packaged and good fit.

Yesterday my girlfriend came in for a belly piercing, we told them to check carefully around her belly button for potential scar tissue from a previous operation over a year and a half ago. They did not check carefully and in fact the first person to check out the area said it wouldn't be affected. We then went into the room with the piercer (who wasnt wearing the adequate scrubs) also failed to check the area. In fact he didnt even check it at all. So when preforming the piercing they were essentially piercing through scar tissue. This was extremely painful for my partner and caused more bleeding than usual for a piercing of that size. Also when the needle went through the scar tissue due to the fact of the piercer having to push the needle so hard to break the skin, he jabbed another area of the belly also.
When i called him out and said perhaps they didnt do their job properly and check the area thorough enough, they just made up excuses on how ‘people have thicker tissue than others’
Even if that was the case (it wasnt) he should still of been able to notice that prior to preforming the piercing if he actually bothered to check the area in the first place.

Complete lack for duty of care from the piercer and the first person who looked.

I was in the store in Leeds yesterday. I was very happy with my experience. There was a bit of a wait, due to the one getting pierced before me, was a bit nervous, but the staff was very apologetic about it, and when i asked for water i got it. Grace pierced me, and explained everything very thoroughly. The place was clean and the tools came sterilized. My new piercing barely hurt then and now the day after. All in all recommend.

I asked if blue banana did gift vouchers on Sunday morning, had a reply within a couple of hours saying yes. So I bought one, and it came in the post 2 days later. Very quick service in my opinion. The gift voucher was a present for my granddaughter and I'm not sure if she has used it yet.

The staff today (Sunday 5th July) were wonderful. I desperately needed a piercing removed from my nose as it was stuck and embedded and Anna (Red and Orange hair) was fantastic! It was pretty tough going and she completely put my panicking self at ease throughout the entire experience. Very surgically clean room and I would recommend going here to anyone for anything piercing related! The other lovely ladies were also very friendly and helpful throughout our time in the shop. Thank you so much i hope you all see this at some point 🥰 GOLD STARS ALL AROUND!!! 🌟

Got an intimate part pierced yesterday, the piercer and the chaperone (I called him moral support) were so professional, hilarious, made me feel great about myself and played good tunes. Felt so comfortable and my piercing looks amazing. Thank you both for being wonderful ❤️

Really nice shop, came for my first piercing and the staff were really helpful. I think the managers name was Charis, she was very welcoming and kind. The staff assisted me with whatever I needed. Would recommend

The staff were absolutely phenomenal & so lovely & attentive. We went in to change my partners tragus piercing after it fell out, Rose had it done painlessly and effortlessly in 5 minutes and was so lovely & careful. I ended up going back only a few hours later needing a helix change myself and found myself dealing with lovely Rose once more. The staff at the counter were just as understanding as the first time and I really enjoyed my experience. I'm considering getting another piercing just to visit again. I would absolutely recommend this store just solely for the customer service alone. Thanks girls!

I got my tongue pierced and noticed it was wonky and quite far back, i went back a few days later and asked them to take it out and for a refund. Jamie who took my piercing out was lovely with me, he was really understanding and put my choices as priority in taking it out. however when speaking to his manager they refused to give me a refund nor store credit and only offered a re-pierce however after telling me that is was wonky due to my anatomy therefore i didn’t want a re-pierce. they ended up offering me a piercing voucher for another piercing however this is upsetting as i don’t want another piercing. the piercing as a whole was excellent but the way they handled their mistake was not okay.
