Blacks - Salisbury Omdömen 

Went into blacks Salisbury today and was approached by JAMES T . He was very helpful the moment we walked in the door . Despite my late arrival there was still an amazing service and not the normal trying to push me out the door this guy deserves a payrise !! .
Will definitely return to this store many thanks to JAMES T .

There was a number of large signs that stated there was 30% off everything. However when the members of staff were asked how much would a pair of Montane Respond gloves be after 30% was deducted he took them and scanned them and said “they are £42” which was exactly the same price on the printed tag. His attitude was brusque and unhelpful, he appeared to find working on a Sunday was a personal inconvenience. The signage was unclear and so was the labelling.

We went to Blacks in Salisbury to look at walking shoes and boots. They had a good range of walking shoes and boots (brands and types) and we bought two pairs (men's boots and women's shoes) at a good price.
When requested we got answers to our questions but we were left to our own devices to try the items on and make a decision. Tbh the customer service needs to improve (e.g. proactive customer engagement) and isn't a patch on the service you get at Cotswold Outdoor.

The young man that served us was very helpful. He knew just by looking at my son exactly what measurements he was as he said he used to work at Moss Bros. He was therefore able to advise me on exactlythe right size I needed. Great.

I purchased a pair of walking boots which became very uncomfortable after wearing them only a few times, so I asked what my options were and I was told that I could return them so I did and upgraded them to a better pair and purchased some gaiters as well all the staff Maisie, Craig and Tegan were very helpful and friendly,I will be back soon thankyou Adrian.
