Too many pieces of aperatus out of action for a long time.
No control over swimmers using the lift, the upstairs lockers and changing rooms. The Etham Centre will be held accountable for someone slipping and falling over because of water on the floor and the lift.
Too many users sit on pieces of aperatus, looking at their mobile phones... I am not talking a minute or two, sometimes five minutes or more.

We have arrived to the Eltham centre on…
We have arrived to the Eltham centre on Sunday morning for pool activities with our 5 year old daughter. Changing rooms were freezing as heating wasn't on, not for the first time!!
We have changed and made our way to the teaching pool but we were told not to enter the water as our slot was at 10am which was in 5/6mimutes!
We were cold and rude member of staff (white bloke with black hair and thick black bird, slightly chubby in green t-shirt) told us to STAY where we are and not enter. There was another couple waiting with us and did not even bother to argue with him due to the fairly aggressive approach, even though pool was empty.
I did say that that's only 5 minutes and I can leave early but we were cold to what he told me that I am deluded and just walk away!!
Also, for a pool for kids, water was not warm at all and other parents complained to staff, who did nothing at all.
Eventually, we left earlier as our daughter was cold.
I wanted to report this at the front desk but there was no one there for about 15/20 minutes so eventually, we left.
This was the most awful experience and standards as also changing rooms are dirty and old.
3 out of 6 hair dryers don't work for few months now!
This is just awful place!
I will make sure to feedback this experience on feedback platforms as this is unleavable and seem to be happening not for the first time!

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns with us. We sincerely apologise for your experience. This is not the level we here at The Eltham Centre like to carry ourselves, nor the standard of service we aim to deliver.
We are currently facing issues with our pool temperatures due to ongoing, necessary building works to improve the overall running of the centre. While these improvements are essential, we understand how frustrating any disruption can be.
We try our best to keep all customers informed through notices around the building and changing rooms, as well as service‑disruption updates online and on our website should any issues arise on the day. We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time.
Regarding the behaviour you encountered, please be assured that as management we will look into this matter and speak with all staff involved.
This behaviour is not reflective of how we carry ourselves at The Eltham Centre, nor the standards we hold ourselves to. If you ever experience any issues during your visits, please feel free to ask a member of the team to get their manager, and we're always happy to help.
We truly hope to welcome you back once all works are completed, so you can experience the very best The Eltham Centre has to offer.

Pool is dirty with plasters covering…
Pool is dirty with plasters covering the drains and filth on tiles and toilets. showers do not work correctly due to build up of scale giving poor flow rate and one shower isolated due to I guess fault.
Hygiene is a problem here!
Please put some effort into cleaning and maintenance.

Whilst there are cleaners present, there is often than not cleaning fluids absent. Sometimes customers take them for their personal use. I would suggest and clear sign and guidance.

Local keep fitt of classes…
It's hard to get into a lot of classes and some of the showers coukd do with a wipe diwn inside. But that said there us a lot to chose and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

No changes!
Wrote a review on this a couple of weeks ago and received a response saying that everything that was wrong in the showers would be fixed! Unfortunately nothing has changed! It’s such a shame as the classes are so good and the instructors are lovely and helpful! But to be let down by the facilities every day is such a shame! I even took photos which say everything but can’t seem to download them on here!

I was referred
via the gp for the Healthwise scheme
But it’s very hard to contact any of the team members
I’ve been on the waiting list for over two years for a hyro class no one has ever contacted me
My fees have increased from £20 to £32 despite me not being able to attend the class very poor service
