Recently moved in to a newly completed home in poplar and the experience has been great so far. Sarah Coyle and Jade Singleton are really good and they made the pre-purchase and post-purchase experience really hassle-free
Not enough communication with the owners
Signing a contract with high tariff of EV charging without a suitable explanation for Huntley Wharf makes the owners feel frustrated. The original charging fee was 18p and suddenly jumped up to 54p per kWh. No explanation. Maybe more communication needed and so the owners and the tenants know about who's responsible for different aspects in Huntley Wharf.
A ZERO star for Berkeley!
A ZERO star would be appropriate for Berkeley Group. Living in Cassini tower is a NIGHTMARE so far. We’re living the worst experience of our lives! Poor finishing, lousy management, poorly installed appliances and the worst communication skills we’ve ever seen. We’ve been without running hot water for days with no explanation or justification of any sort. I would never deal with Berkeley again and certainly not recommend them to anyone.

Professional and excellent staff, great facilities
All the staff without exception were friendly and professional, from Avril and Nam in the marketing suite, to Raza in legal and Shaan in customer service. Very responsive to queries, making our purchase very smooth. So far delighted with facilities and build quality and very much looking forward to moving in.
Will recommend St George to all friends
My experience of buying from St George Berkeley was excellent, the flat is well made, welcome from St George on completion was wonderful with lovely hamper from fortnum and mason.
Customer service is also very good with free handyman service provided. These small things make a difference in overall experience.
Although there was a delay in completion, overall experience is good
Although there was a delay in the completion due to COVID, I am satisfied with the service provided by the Sales Team, especially John, who constantly updated me about the construction status. As an overseas buyer, I was guided through the procedures smoothly, and the handover was seamless. Additionally, I am particularly pleased with the design of the houses and the environment of the area. Finally, I would like to thank Rob for his follow up on the issues after the completion.
General comment…
New experience for me that personal account was given that I can be informed about the construction progress. John is also great that he is a responsible relationship manager. He kept me update on some important issues like payment date and the arrangement.
However, I would suggest that Berkeley should introduce what the purposes of my personal account to enhance my experience. Besides, as I am an overseas buyer that I may not know the detailed procedures to buy a property in UK. It would be add-value if a video is made and let overseas buyer to watch.
By the way, the HK side agent, FMI Investment cannot discharge it's duty. I don't know what the relationship of FMI with Berkeley. For me, FMI seems to be invisible for the whole process except the dates of signing.

My wife and I were excited about the…
My wife and I were excited about the prospect of buying our new home at Hareshill in Crookham Village, however the increased interest on mortgages made the sale of my cottage very challenging. We had many views but nobody followed through with an offer for months, although we were mortgage free our potential buyers were not. The customer liaison person at Hareshill acted with great sensitivity to our situation while also balancing a professional approach to targeting BH’s sales. We wish to commend her even though she is no longer with BH.
Following our eventual success in completing the purchase on our new BH property we have been delighted by the ongoing support and attention from the on site liaison team, they have been excellent and have on occasion gone beyond what I would expect in terms of support.
Bought a dream, living a nightmare
Excellent pre-sales but once things started to go wrong they blamed the contractors and never saw anything through to the end. As a result, I now have a cracked worktop which they won’t fix, yellow residue all through my bathroom, am on my third floor, have door handles which don’t match and windows which don’t close. Additionally, the garage door breaks down every couple of months and their design means my windows can’t be cleaned. The most disappointing aspect of all of it is how dismissive they are of problems and their lack of accountability. Would not recommend.
Great Experience at St. James with Minor Concierge Issues
I love how effective St. James has been in dealing with the issues I had regarding my apartment. The staff have been incredibly helpful and responsive, and the overall design and layout of the building are really nice.
However, I think there could be some improvements in the concierge service. The trolleys aren't always working properly, and in a few instances, the staff were not very polite.
Despite this, some staff members have been very helpful. The people there are also nice, making the overall experience positive with a friendly community and great amenities. So I’m giving a solid 4 star!
Just recently completed on a house…
Just recently completed on a house brought through Berkeley Homes and they were there from start to finish with help and advise on any questions we raised
The house is beautiful and handover was made so easy with all the appliances explained fully as to how they work and sales staff were so helpful
They will be our "go to" when we sell and look to buy another property in a few years time

My Experience
Even from the first visit to the Park the sales staff were welcoming and very knowledgeable. Through every step, from enquiry to purchase, there has always been someone to answer my questions and queries. It was a lovely touch when the sales team phoned me to congratulate me on the day of completion. The home demonstration was thorough and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I value the fact that I have someone to e-mail if I need anything further. I would definitely recommend Berkeley Houses to others in future

Berkeley staff were very professional and courteous and provided regular timely updates. They hand held me throughout the whole process taking the stress out of the situation. Great job all round.
