At the showroom we was left alone until we asked for help so we could look round and try beds without pressure, the the purchase was easy with no pressure to purchase extras. The delivery was spot on, in the time slot they gave us and the guys did everything. 10/10

From start to finish the customer service was exceptional. Sam went through everything and didn’t rush us at all.

Buying the mattress from Bensons Beds was a great experience from start to finish

I visited Bensons at Ambley Rd Gillingham. The sales lady Odette was fabulous, very pleasant professional and thorough. She answered all the questions and queries I had. I didn't feel rushed in the slightest.
I wouldn't hesitate to go back to purchase another bed when needed.
I would highly recommend bensons and Odette , im sure the other staff would be professional and thorough too at that branch.

Attended to promptly in the store. Our mattress order was processed quickly and efficiently. We were pleased that we could get our old mattress recycled.
The mattress was delivered only two weeks later within our two hour time slot. The two delivery men were pleasant and competent taking the mattress to our bedroom

I did order a mattress on line. Found very easy. The delivery men mark and Alan were great. Delivered with care. So polite. The mattress is very comfortable. It was a great price. I would order again from bensons. I had my first mattress from them over 20 years ago. So they are still a good company.

The sales assistant Wendy was brilliant. She fully understood my needs as a more elderly customer and let me take my time.

The store manager was great at explaining the different mattress strengths and giving us the opportunity to rest them in store. Seeing the selection including newer ones means that it would be easier to buy next time for other rooms.

The team were, very efficient, courteous and handled my product with extreme care, they were great.

We could not be happier with the service we received! We were welcomed by Odette upon arrival who was warm and welcoming, my mum has dementia and had a very bad back, Odette was kind and patient she talked to my mum and I and listened to what we wanted, she suggested beds that she thought would be right for my mum and helped my mum to feel comfortable by giving her a pillow and reassurance. With her help we found the perfect bed and mum actually fell asleep on it in the shop! The staff were so sweet to her and Odette then talked me through the paperwork and even got us a discount I have not experienced customer care like that ever! We were both blown away with how attentive and customer focused Odette was what a wonderful experience and what a testament she is to Benson for Beds we could not be happier! Give that girl a raise she’s one in a million!

We purchased a mattress from Bensons for Beds two years ago, and it came with a five-year warranty. We have followed the care instructions provided, including flipping the mattress every two weeks as advised.

Over the past month, the mattress has started causing both my wife and me severe, chronic back pain, particularly first thing in the morning. We reported the issue to Bensons for Beds and provided the photographs and information they requested.

Unfortunately, we were told that the condition shown in the photographs is considered “normal settling” and that they would therefore not replace the mattress. We find this extremely disappointing. While some settling may be considered normal, we do not believe it is reasonable to dismiss a mattress that is causing two people significant and ongoing back pain, particularly when it is still within its five-year warranty period.

We are extremely disappointed with the service and the way our complaint has been handled. A warranty is only worthwhile if the company is prepared to stand behind the product when there is a genuine problem.

Based on this experience, we would not purchase from Bensons for Beds again, and we would strongly encourage anyone considering buying a mattress from them to carefully consider how warranty claims are handled in practice.

We only went to look for a bed. We were greeted at the door and told if we needed any help to ask,which was really nice not to be followed around by a pushy sales person. We did end up seeing a bed we like and went back to see the sales person (Wendy) and she was so professional and nice. She answered all the questions we had.

Andy the manager was really knowledgeable. And very helpful. There was no pressure to buy. His was so helpful. From our purchase to delivery excellent service.

Sam was very helpful, knowledgeable & patient. She was able to answer any questions that we had and fully explained the configurations which we could have for our new bed.

I’d like to share a lovely experience with a recent bed delivery. My 88-year-old mum happened to be home alone when the delivery arrived, as her carer was off for the day, and her old bed hadn’t been stripped in advance.
The delivery team were absolutely wonderful — they kindly stripped the bed themselves and set the bedding aside, all before I managed to get there. They were courteous, kind, and genuinely helpful in assisting my mum. I’m so grateful for the care they showed her.
I’d also like to praise Benson’s back office team throughout the whole process — they were courteous, informative, and made everything easy to follow. I’d recommend Benson’s 100% to anyone looking to buy a bed.

Andy was very nice and helped a lot, was able to give me the answer that I needed for the original reason I came into the store (someone else's order), and I was able to buy a good mattress for myself. Had difficulty arranging the correct date for delivery as I am working most days. The reason for the 2 star removal. Firstly I haven't got it yet so the order is not complete. I hope to come back after the delivery to amend details. The second reason really REALLY annoys me. They profess to have a video showing a delivery BUT you have to sign into an app called VIMEO. Why must I log into this? Is YouTube no good? Can you not have the video part of your webpage? No Way will I sign into a site for no good reason. That is one way I can get a virus. So I'll NEVER give them 5 stars.
