Friendly and informative staff especially Dhruv Joshi (hope that is correct). Looking forward to receiving our .mattress for a good night's sleep. I shall be purchasing a couple of pillows off them soon. Highly recommended.

The (South African) lady at the Derby branch (meteor centre) was very kind and helpful. She also kept the store open an additional 15 minutes for my wife to show up and choose the mattress. She gave us a wide choice, helped us choose wisely. The best £2000 we have spent.

I was struggling online to do my order so I thought I would go into the derby store where I was met by an older woman who did not want to entertain anything I asked from her or help with my enquiry if it wasn't for Jessica who I emailed I would never choose bensons for my mattress the woman in the store had an awfull attitude and was no help what so ever , I also work for bensons and would never treat my customers they way she did .

The Salesperson was very knowledgeable and she guided us around the store to just what we wanted.
I received multiple emails during the time from order to delivery.
The delivery went well with the delivery team recycling the old matress and carrying the new matress through our home to the bedroom without damaging anything.

Helpful staff. Delivery on time

I visited bensons for beds at the meteor centre in Derby on the 6th of may 2026. I received my bed after several discussions with the team on the 27th of June.
We arranged delivery on the 29th of may, unfortunately the team did not facilitate with a preferred AM or PM delivery slot so I had to take a day off from work, the delivery team turned up with my bed on the 29th of may and then after concerns with the delivery address took my bed back to the store.
I visited the store to see when I could arrange the delivery and was met with no solution and little sympathy to the fact that I was now going to have to take more time off work.
I was left in the dark until I visited the store on the 10th June to which I was told the bed was sitting at the warehouse and delivery just needed organising.
They contacted a private delivery service to deliver my bed on the 29th of June. The agreement was I would pay £50 in cash to the delivery driver and the store would refund me. I have yet to receive this refund on the 10th of July.
I also paid £50 for the removal of my mattress, the private delivery driver was unable to take my old mattress meaning I have had to dispose of it myself. This means I am owed £100.
Due to my last few interactions with the store staff and their outright refusal of compensation I am sceptical I will be refunded.
In summary I am owed money, have received no compensation, the store staff have been dismissive, I was point blank told I could not cancel the order and be refunded, the bed was delivered at an extra charge 52 days after I had ordered the bed and I have waisted a days holiday.
I would not recommend this store to anybody, I would seriously think twice before ordering and would be more inclined to go across the road to Dreams, the store staff should be ashamed of themselves.

The whole process from browsing, through purchasing ending with delivery was very easy.
All the staff I encountered were knowledgeable and polite. I was given all the appropriate information and kept up to date with regular email contact.

From the moment we walked into Bensons for Beds in Derby, we were so well looked after, helpful advice in choosing a bed frame and mattress for our needs. We were given space to talk privately in making our choice and price plans.

The delivery was on time and we were given a time slot that suited.

We are really pleased with our new bed and will be returning to Bensons again soon

Great service start to finish, no issues, polite delivery men who also built my bed, took shoes off and checked with me every step to ensure I was happy.

Staff were good at the Meteor Centre Derby ,listened to what we required. Bensons beds kept us updated re delivery, and the delivery men were good, knowledgeable and respectful of our property.
