Beware the extra charges
I went bed shopping with my grandaughter, the shop was nice and clean and well maintained. We looked at lots of beds and bounced on a few! The sales assistant was considerate and knowledgeable.
The shock came when I was told the delivery charge was £69.00! To me that is extortionate after paying £500 for a single bed, there is no other option so I had to pay it but I won't go back when I need another bed.

I’m really sorry to hear the delivery charge came as a disappointment. We’ll absolutely make sure your feedback is passed on to the relevant team.
Just to reassure you, the £69 delivery cost covers our high‑level delivery service — including careful handling, room‑of‑choice delivery, scheduling, and the customer care support that comes with it. We aim to provide a reliable, professional service from store to doorstep.
Thank you again for the honest feedback — it really helps us improve,

Thanks for the feedback Kevin. Our delivery team works hard to get every mattress safely to your door, but we know £50 for a single can feel a bit steep. We’ll make sure your comments are passed on,

Good choice
Layout in the shop is very good. Was welcomed straight away and then left to browse. Given a time slot for delivery. Felt a little more information could have been given other than “ its all in the envelope”

I appreciate your comment about the information provided at the end of your visit. We’ll certainly take this on board, as we want to make sure everything is clear and easy to understand, not just handed over in an envelope.

Amazing from start to finish
Amazing from start to finish. Akram from Coventry store was fantastic. Walked in the store he introduced himself and offered to help anyway needed. Left us to walk around and try all the mattresses. No pushy, clingy salesman tactics that we received in competitors store. When we narrowed it down to the few we liked Akram came over answered all our questions, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Gave us a great price. I still wanted to think it over for another day or two, again no pushy salesman like tactics allowed us to take our time. Rang the store the next day and went forward with sale. Akram asked if I had a blue light card, I did so was really nice to know he was trying to get us the best price possible. Paid over the phone, was told our delivery date there and then (arrived on the date we were told).
Delivery.
Delivery drivers were also absolutely fantastic. We have a very narrow staircase and then a sharp turn at the top and then another sharp turn into our bedroom. We were worried the whole time that they wouldn't be able to deliver it to our chosen room. When they arrived we couldn't have asked for more. Nothing was a problem, again super friendly and helpful took the mattress into our bedroom and took all the plastic sheets away with them. Unfortunately didn't get thier names but they did a fantastic job.
Would absolutely recommend benson for beds to anyone. Great job all round. Thanks again
