We've heard the stories from both customers and customer’s friends who have been steered in a wrong direction in a bike sale. Maybe it's because the shop didn't carry the type of bike they wanted, had a particular model they needed to liquidate or maybe they didn't have the right size in stock, but still wanted the sale. That is definitely not the way to treat a new bike customer or any customer. A shop like that isn't concerned about your need or comfort on a bike; they just wanted a sale. Once you’re out the door...its money in their cash drawer and they're on to the next. We strive to make sure you're getting the right bike for your type of riding. Not only that; we won't put you on a bike that doesn't fit you properly. These are important things to us and they should be even more important to you. Great selection of bicycle gear.
I'm a 'do it yourself' cyclist, have done all the work to my bikes for years (build indestructible wheels!). I mainly buy parts, common like tires, hard to find like non-standard cluster spacers and cleats/toe clips/straps for old school and track pedals. Ben's has served me well since I found it a few years ago, has had many of the parts I have needed. I always see what they have when I need something and they often get my order,

Excellent products and service!
I found their website and looked exactly like what I was looking for. Someone to build me some custom wheels for my bike with my being able to choose the components.
Their service was excellent, fast and well executed. I plan on ordering from them again, and high recommend them to anyone looking for quality bike parts!

My last order shopping list tires I wanted were out of stock. System took my email I think to notify me when they're in. Staff said it could be 4 weeks or so. Any way I can check or be sure I will get some when they do arrive?
Otherwise, Bens has always been helpful and can get what I need.

A nice find for US fixed-gear riding
I see few quality steel 3/32-inch track cogs outside of Shimano Dura-Ace, which go up to only 16 teeth. So it was nice to find Milwaukee/Ben's had bigger sizes -- and that they were made in the USA. The fellow who took my order was friendly and helpful, and the shipping cost was remarkably low. The cog arrived in Kansas in just a couple of working days. I'm happy.

Quality Part Received Quickly.
I live in Hawaii and as a result I've grown accostumed to waiting forever for packages. I'm truly shocked at how quickly I got the hub I ordered from Ben's Cycle. The order was placed, shipped, and arrived to me in four days. Most of my other online purchases take over a week.
On top of that, this was a rather specific part and Ben's Cycle was the only place I could find it brand new.
