I bought a Bell 4forty MIPS helmet that…

I bought a Bell 4forty MIPS helmet that looked great and the fit was good, too.
After a while, like 20 times or so, the outer layers of the front inner padding separated. I reached out to the customer support with the issue but they did not bother to reply.
Since then, basically it hasn't been used even that much, and the matte finish is coming off by itself; when it was left in the car during summer last year, the adjusment knob melted... Apart from the looks when new, the product itself is garbage. Falling apart by itself.
The customer service doesn't care so you better stay away and buy some quality product.

I purchased a 1000 dollar helmet

I purchased a 1000 dollar helmet. Did not fit well so sent it back next day in perfect condition. Wanted the next size up. Waited 2 weeks. Nothing. Worst customer service ever and the time they take the order, get it shipped, the shipping method slow, the return was seriously way too long and again, wait with no word or updates. Nothing. Finally just had to get a refund. Poor business. Go buy a Shoei

Soporte post-venta pesimo, evitar comprar

Compré un casco Bell Super DH MIPS. Las almohadillas interiores con el tiempo se han estropeado, hasta aquí normal. Pero he buscado recambios y no he encontrado en ningún sitio. He preguntado a la web oficial y la respuesta es que no hay repuestos. Fin de la cuestión. ¡Es una vergüenza! Tendré que comprar casco nuevo, pero seguro que no será Bell.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Staff is so disorganized and uninformed, I can't believe they'll still in business. My dealings dealt with a return that went into the Twilight Zone. I will never do business with them again...

Poor customer service - faulty product.

I purchased a Bell Moto-10 Spherical Evade White/Blue in June 2025.
Having worn it for only 7 MX practice days the white area around the goggle opening is discolouring with yellow splotches.
I have emailed Bell UK 3 times with no response.
Tried the USA email, they said email UK...

Customer service is no existent

It's not hard to get this right. Online selling 101.
I bought a helmet online.
It arrived.
I decided it was too big and processed a return.
Before posting, I had a query about the courier being used.
After 3 weeks, and 3 emails - I'm still waiting for some Bell 'customer service'.
Don't really give a fig how good their helmets are, I judge a company on their response when things go wrong.
1 star. Only because there isn't a 0 star.
I'm off to Bells competitors. Never to return.

Bell helmets don't meet safety standards

Bell helmets don't meet the safety standards needed for mountain bike competitions, but are priced as though they do. Be warned, don't buy bell. Get something similar priced or cheaper that has meets safety standards.

Bell-Giro stand behind their products. Their customer service rep Caitlyn Mercer is an upbeat pro; most helpful, professional, would make any organization proud.
Anyone long in business knows people are quick to complain, slow to praise. Let my words of appreciation serve as proxy for all the others Caitlyn no doubt helped but who never bothered to formally thank her.

Two thumbs way up, a solid 10. These folks deserve, merit your business.

BELL 10 HELMET

Where to begin, My son purchased the bell 10 helmet back in the summer and I'm very grateful for his purchase! On the 9th of September he took a nasty spill and was transported by helicopter to a trauma center ,Not knowing how severe his injuries were until I had arrived at the hospital ,The Dr let me know that he was very fortunate to be alive but the headgear he was wearing sustained most of the impact which saved his life ! He suffered a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain ,after 11 days In ICU he was cleared to get get his shoulder repaired which took 4 plates and 22 screws! And it's now the 5th of December and we are back where we were on the 9th of September seeing the Nuro Dr for his last visit !!!! Just want to say Thank you for your product ! It saved my child's life and I'm forever grateful 🙏 And when he is able to ride again he only be wearing a Bell helmet ..

Wow! Just WOW! A+++

Wow! Just wow!! After purchasing a helmet last year, a faulty part (nothing which affected safety) broke. I emailed the company and dealt with Caitlyn. Three days after sending her pictures of the damage, she sent a BRAND NEW HELMET to us. I emailed on Thursday and had it at my door Sunday morning. This level of customer service is unprecedented these days. Thank you so much Caitlyn and Bell helmets for ensuring you have a customer for life. I am beyond impressed. Caitlyn showed both professionalism and urgency. Wow. Just spectacular.

Selling a helmet that's not available / existing

Ordered and paid for a special order GT6 carbon helmet in March 2021.
I got in touch with Bell and was told throughout the year that the helmet is being homologated etc. etc.
Latest update is that production might / might not be on the way, but the special order will be 2nd priority, so still no end in sight.

It's not an issue waiting for the helmet, but very disappointed that the company is taking money for an unreleased product.

Racing season is starting soon, so will need to look somewhere else.
