Portions are tiny.
Food is dry and black.
Half the mixed grill has been took away.
Sausages chopped into small pieces.
Looks like a baby's meal.
Prices too high for portion sizes now.
Starters the same size as a side dish, but double the price.
Nice staff... Awful food.
Very disappointed 😥

This was my worst experience at a beefeater ever …
New management server was totally disinterested in anything apart from the manageress shunned us on 3 occasions and just plonked the dessert on the table …. We have been regulars there for years but will not be going again …. I stay in premier inns over six months of the year and this close to the worst service ever ( by the way the food was delicious ) thanks CHEFS for all your efforts over the years

We had a meal deal at Priory Marina, Wow what service, thank you AJ and chefs Andrew and Jordan. All the other staff were great too, so friendly and accommodating. The food was really good. Thank you for a great experience.

Unfortunately I am writing to complain. I visited Oakley Hay Beefeater on Sunday 12th September 2021 and only wanted to order some drinks and nibbles at the bar.
We were served by Beth and she was incredibly rude, unengaged, and basically acted as if she really couldn’t be bothered to serve us. Not only did we receive what felt like disrespectful service but we also waited almost 20 minutes to be served when there was only us and 1 other person waiting at the bar. 4 members of staff walked past us several times and completely ignored us and then Beth came along and was made to feel like an inconvenience for being there.
I visit Oakley Hay Beefeater often. I have a loyalty card and normally have such pleasant serve when we sit in the restaurant. I haven’t sat in the bar area much but it feels as if it’s neglected by all staff and this is where the awful serve came in.
Unfortunately it only takes once to have bad service one time to put you off ever wanting to come again and frankly this is how I feel now.

I love the beefeater and am always the one to suggest it when deciding where to eat. My family and I have just tried the buffet breakfast at The Barn which was amazing; our waitress Kate was really friendly and was always ready to help when needed.

What can i say our waitress for the evening was AMAZING.We were a family of 18 on different tables but boy did she get everything right. from drinks to food to being extremely friendly. so a big shout out to RACHEL at the Beefeater Little Colliers Field,Corby. OUTSTANDING!!! Food was bl**dy gorgeous as well we can not fault any of the meals. my burger was cooked to perfection. If i am ever that way again ill be back there for dinner 100%

Visited OXFORD KIDLINGTON (AIRPORT) as halfway for my daughter and I to meet for lunch. I fell foul of the A34 traffic so was late but this did not bother the staff at all. The service was excellent for the whole visit with extremely polite, attentive and friendly staff. The food was delicious, very well presented and reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again (A34 traffic jams permitting :-).

We visited the twelve bells, Ermin Way, Witcombe, Gloucester and we are so glad we did! The service was 10/10, big shout out to keiren who looked after us all weekend, nothing was too much trouble from seating arrangements to serving us in the busy bar, he always had a smile on his face and made our two night stay a weekend to remember!! The food was lovely and the drinks were in full flow. We had a brilliant time there, the locals were so friendly and made us all feel very welcome, Pete you're a legend 😉, would definitely recommend this this place to everyone

We eat regularly at the coldra beefeater. The food is always of a good standard it’s reasonable priced. The main reason we keep coming back is because the waitresses are always friendly and helpful, especially Heidi who constantly runs around, nothing is too much trouble.

On holiday in Cornwall (Carnon Inn) we booked a table a week in advance, got there and ready to order...sorry no steak!!.. oh and no fish, oh and no sticky toffee pudding, oh and no chicken goujons ( so they just thought they would get away with giving with giving us balls of 'chicken') and no crumble ( again they tried to pretend a sundae was a crumble)!!! No chocolate sauce or sprinkles for the ice cream so we changed it to pancakes, which was in fact 1 scotch pancake cut into 4 two strawberries and a pot of jam!!! Come on Beefeater you can at least be honest and tell us when we walk through the door 'I'm really sorry but we forgot you were coming and forgot to go shopping!' Really disappointed and so didn't return for breakfast or drinks!!!

Oh dear, probably the worst meal I've ever been served ( LADYBRIDGE TAMWORTH) and I've been using beefeater for years. £15.00 for a dry chicken breast 10 chips and no vegetables. My partners words said it all when it arrived "that looks disgusting" I couldn't quite take in how bad it was. The chicken looked like an alien autopsy. When I was asked if everything was ok by the server I said no my food has clearly been microwaved. She asked if I want to have it replaced? For what? A dish by the same chef, no thanks. I'll part company with beefeater

Went to Beefeater Bedford at Priory Marina. Very nice lunch, I had the tuna steak, my partner had the fillet steak. Everything was served just right, even my tomato and basil sauce - which tasted of tomato !
Very nice desserts too ( chocolate torte ) Couldn't fault the food or the service - thank you AJ !

Pennypinchers being charged £1.50 for sachets of salt and pepper at Ockmill Abingdon are you joking

We are staying in the Premier Inn in Cheltenham and took a visit to.Beefeater crosshands, we had such great service from Philomen ,she is a credit to.the company! Food was great as well.

Excellent service from vicky and new manager food was amazing would recommend to anyone visiting happy days 😀

Food standard, good - Food amount, very bad.
My friend and I returned to the Frome Flyer in Frome for a late lunch, ordered 2 different steaks, the waitress was clueless just by looking at it, which one was what? However, we knew but asked all the same. She returned from the kitchen and swapped the plates. (poor show, should've taken it back to the kitchen, to return with the correct ones - wouldn't get that in a high-class restaurant on service!)
After that, we decided to go for a pudding/sweet. My friend ordered a Blackforest gateaux sundae and for me, I went for the strawberries and ice cream option.
Didn't take long to arrive, the restaurant was virtually empty anyway. I was not too happy with the portion size. 1 strawberry on 2 tiny scoops of ice cream, cost £3.69p. My friend had a black forest gateaux sundae, it arrived with a big hole in the middle, you could see clean through the glass to the other side, then it was topped with loads of frothy cream out of a tin. We both were not happy. After a short conversation with the manageress, she removed the puddings from the bill, offered me another strawberry cut into 8 pieces, and told me that the pudding should have more than 1 strawberry on it. The joke of it all is, she returned with another strawberry, to add to the one I already had. I think the pudding should say, 2 tiny ice cream scoops with one strawberry as garnish! This is ridiculous. What has the Beefeater done with their menu? Still charging extortionate prices and still not delivering the goods.
The Service was good though. Our waitress was run off her feet, and although it does have air con in the restaurant (it's not too strong) So she looked quite flushed most of the time. However, what she lacked in the knowledge she made up for in being attentive, and she had more than just us to take care of.

Farnham Beefeater. Fabulous breakfast, unlimited food for a fixed price. Excellent service from the staff and in particular Raluca who served 12 of us. Will come again.

Customer service was fantastic and the food was great. All in all a amazing service. In Basingstoke beefeater, big up Johnny b

Went to Beefeater Bristol Fashion and had a very enjoyable meal the food was delicious with drinks served by Deb who was very knowledgeable about the food, would highly recommend

I go to the beefeatergrill near Dover quite regularly and would like to say , the server Emma Pinfold , is the best server we have ever had , always polite ,always gets things correct , always smiles at us , always knows us by name . I am very very Impressed , which is why I think as a family we always go to the plough in Dover
