The welcome was excellent
The welcome was excellent, we were seen at the time of booking, the optometrist was very helpful, courteous, professional and explained us everything she had done. Dispensing staff was very helpful and polite. We had amazing experience.

Expert examination and prompt action
I managed to get a cancellation appointment at Bayfields Opticians on Saturday 24th June.. I received a thorough eye examination. The outcome was that I had holes in the retina of my left eye. The optician contacted an eye hospital and arranged for me to be seen as soon as I could get to the hospital. I was given laser treatment in both eyes and have had a follow-up appointment at my local hospital. If I had not had the prompt examination and referral to hospital I was at risk of loosing my sight.

A thorough and professional examination
All staff were extremely courteous and polite. The ophthalmologist was very thorough in not only examining my eyes but also explaining the procedures been undertaken. After the initial examination a further appointment was made for a field test which again was undertaken very professionally together with a detailed explanation of the test.
