Excellent service. Although it took a bit longer than expected, staff kept me informed by email and text. Very knowledgeable staff about the issues I had with my bike and gave me some advice to support me through the next cycling season.

Usual great experience with a bike service. Good, pragmatic advice on work needed. High standard from the workshop, as always. Thanks to Scott and Curtis on this one - but the team are all great.

Good service, good price, nice people...

I purchased a bike from Balfes bikes under a cycle to work scheme. The whole thing was simple and the guys at Balfes in Kingston made it it easy to choose a bike that was right for me. They took a deposit so I could secure the bike at a very competitive price. They then had it all set up and ready for me to collect once I'd got my letter of collection (LOC). Deposit was refunded and I'm delighted with my purchase. Great job guys. Would recommend to friends and family.

I popped in to find an XS adult bike for my 10-year-old, and Faaiz was brilliant. He took the time to properly measure my son’s height to ensure the frame was a perfect fit. He was also incredibly knowledgeable, clearly explaining the differences between a hybrid and an MTB so we could figure out which style worked best.
Faaiz was so friendly and patient while we weighed up the options, and he remained completely professional throughout. I honestly ended up trusting his recommendations blindly because it was clear he knew exactly what he was talking about.
If you’re in Kingston and need a bike, definitely go see him.

New bikes for both me and my daughter. The team were really friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and gave us lots of detail to help with choices. Very happy with both bikes after some use over the Easter break!

Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. The staff appeared disinterested and the overall atmosphere felt quite cold, which made it difficult to feel comfortable as a customer.

Great service when buying my Brompton G Line Electric. Team was quite helpful in explaining how the bike works, the battery and handlebar controller to a newbie like me. Also helped me out with sorting a Quad Lock mount to mount my phone. All pretty seamless and great service over the phone and via email before the pickup date

Great service from knowledgeable staff who are passionate about bikes and cycling. For me, it's important to get the right support from people who understand - without the pressure selling. Shout out to Callum for his patience; he took the time to answer all my questions (no matter how trivial), and he made my visit a a very worthwhile and educational trip.
