Good service, could be more prompt on replies to emails. I really liked the fact that the team seemed to understand that I wanted the bike to be really special and cared about the finer details.

Immediate replace and repair by Nuno. Really good service . Appreciate it may have been a quiet time , but I really appreciated the quick turnaround to replace my rear wheel . Thanks

Used Balfe's in Fulham on several occasions. The majority of the staff are very friendly, others can be rude, blunt and unhelpful. Pot luck who you get each time.

Recently I went in with two wheels to reseal (my winter wheels which haven't been used for 6 months). One of the wheels needed a new tyre, the other didn't, just new tape/sealant etc. I ended up bringing my own new tyre (they tend to be expensive there). Despite clearly explaining on multiple occasions that I only want one of the tyres replacing (with the one I supplied), they fitted new tyres on both wheels and threw out the tyre I wanted to keep/use without letting me know in advance. When I mentioned on collection I didn't want new tyres on both wheels they said the best they could do was charge me 50% after speaking with a manager. Unfortunately I had to outright refuse until they waived it. Be very careful they don't try and charge you for new productions you didn't ask for. A similar thing happened to me earlier this year as well.

They never stick to their turnaround time. Even when you book in a service, they don't start the job for several days, which defeats the point of booking.

Doubt I will go back, despite it being conveniently close.

Although they didn't have all parts needed to help with my severe puncture, the service was really helpful, knowledgeable and patient with all of my extra queries.

Brought my bike in for a regular service, requiring brake pads, new chain and cassette as well as retuning gear settings - all done perfectly by Nuno and the team. Thanks

After taking my bike to the shop, it was left in there for two weeks prior to me having to go into the shop to remind them to quote. They quoted and I paid upfront. The cost was £256 for a general service and brake pad replacement (which I thought was hefty to say the least). A further 3 weeks went by after which they called to say they had started working on it and trying to revise the quote (upwards of course).
I didn’t want to be swindled into paying more so I said to leave it, refund me, and I’ll pick my bike up. It’s 2 months later and 4 emails and I still haven’t received a refund (despite them saying they would fully refund me).
Don’t use this place - sloppy customer service, expensive and a waste of time.

The team in the Fulham branch are always helpful and professional. Good comms and a very good service on a fairly tired bike, it looks and feels new. Also, cost was lower than quote, so that was welcome. I would strongly recommend.

gave them my dynamo lights to fix but besides not fully completing the jobs they also lost a few parts before returning it to me.

I had trouble with my chain rubbing against the derailleur at the weekend and wandered into the Fulham store hoping the mechanic would just be able to tweak the settings. It turned out that my diagnosis was wide of the mark and a plastic bit of the derailleur had broken off. I then had visions of having to leave my bike there for a couple of days! Luckily the spare part was in stock and he fixed it there and then. It took 10 minutes tops - super efficient!
