I'm a newbie to buy a bike.

The staffs are very helpful although I got some minor issues after the bike pick up. They are happy to help for anything and give suggestion.

My bike is about 20 years old and was in need of replacement parts in addition to a tune up. When I dropped my bike off for its service, I was told it might be 5 days, given their current workload. But it was ready 24 hours later! Talk about under promising and over delivering! I was thrilled. I’ve used Balfe’s for about 5 years now. Always great service and very nice & helpful staff

The person Simon at the Fulham shop sold me on Sunday 17th May a bike on display that had the display broken, he then told me to wait and come pick it up on Tuesday 19th, then on Tuesday I went to the shop and the bike was still broken. Then he calls me and says he will order a new bike to be pick up on Monday 25th and then on Monday 25th I arrive at the shop, he is not there and the bike has not been ordered.

I have filed a formal complain against him and have posted in every social media channel I have in Fulham about him and the poor customer services.
Now Alex has finally ordered a new bike and I expect to receive the bike by June 4th.
All that while I have paid £270 in deposit, cash that conveniently Balfe must be using as working capital for something else while ignoring my order.

Didn't get noticed when walked in and it was pretty quite. 1 of the staff was trying to help apart from that no information on bikes. Quite useless really.

Terrible. Have had my bike for 2 weeks for a routine service. It was booked several days in advance. Each time I call they claim it’s the next bike. Going in tomorrow to take it back and go somewhere else who’d like my money. Will never go there again for service or a bike purchase.

The repair team always go above and beyond when I take my bicycle in for repair. Even if it is just changing an inner tube, my bike will come out fully serviced, checking if the brakes are fully functional, etc.

Balfe’s are what your local bike shop should be. Items ordered arrive very fast and you are notified accordingly. Also the staff are very friendly and helpful in sorting out issues with your bike or components on the spot: time and time again. A big shout out to Luno and Simon the shop manager at Fulham 👍🏾👍🏾

My wife recently bought a bike from Balfes for an upcoming ride, after a week of riding she discovered the frame was too small for her. Balfe's replaced for a larger frame with no fuss and minor cleaning cost, excellent customer service!

Charged for components that I was told were fine.
Charged extra for labour to replace cables even though I paid £200 for the service.

I sent two bikes to fix/service of late. The staff was great with professional and friendly advice. I surely will return for the repair/maintenance of my bikes.

Bought a Brompton C. The guys in Fulham were helpful but not at all salesy. I felt under no pressure to buy from them so I did.

Every touch point with Balfe's Bikes was superb. From an initial conversation when I wandered in (the window offer had caught my eye - great merchandising) to purchase, to follow up and collection was retail perfection. Utterly brilliant - cannot recommend highly enough

I was helped by Sam who listened to what I needed, gave several good options and recommended what’s proven to be an excellent bike. He also recommended a couple of additions, such as a rack, which have proven helpful without overselling or being pushy. Overall it was a great experience from a team that knows what it’s talking about. They also offered a free service within 8 weeks of purchase. I’ll go back to this shop in future.

Nuno is an outstanding bike specialist with a warm, honest, and friendly approach. The reception team —Simon, Marlon, Jaco, Jessi and all-are very welcoming, offer knowledgeable advice, and genuinely care about each customer. Nuno did an amazing job. Everything he touches feels like magic — even my old bike feels like new after his work.
I can’t recommend Nuno and Balfe’s Bikes Fulham enough — it is absolutely worth travelling there for such incredibly friendly, genuine, caring and high-level expert service. Try it yourself, you won’t regret it and you won’t be overcharged!!
