This company, and in particular Lydia, have been great. When I ordered my products I got a multi purchase discount. We were having an extension at the time and couldn't take receipt of the items. Appliance world stored them for me for 3 months. We are now 3 years on and out of warranty. I have had a problem with one of the Siemens products and called Appliance World who have arranged to contribute towards the call out and arranged with Siemens a discount on the parts. There are not many companies now that deserve praise but my experience has all been good and I will definitely return to purchase more items, and would recommend to others.

Having placed an order on the 20th December (I know what a silly time to order) for 2 Gorenje ovens and an induction hob I was a little frustrated when the order was not fulfilled early in January. This however was the fault of Gorenje the manufacturer who had moved the entire company from London to Leeds over the Christmas period and also merged with another company.
Both Lydia and Matt have been so helpful in trying to resolve the issue for me and on numerous occasions when the Manufacturer confirmed that the stock would be delivered to Appliance World (and then didn't deliver) they have been on the case for me keeping me fully informed at all times. I have nothing but respect for the way Appliance World have dealt with me, under very difficult circumstances caused by a major logistics move by the manufacturer. I would highly recommend AW to anyone that needs brilliant customer service and competitive prices

I have ordered a Bosch fridge for the new home through Appliance-world.co.uk, their pricing was so competitive, and it's significantly cheaper than John Lewis, Curry etc, in my case it was 30% cheaper. Arranging the delivery date was seamless, and Lydia was very helpful, simply email them and she replies in 5 mins. On the scheduled delivery day, the delivery man was extremely helpful, he did more than extra miles to help ensuring everything was done properly and put everything at the right place. Thank you ever so much to Appliance-world.co.uk, I already look forward to shopping at it again.

So disappointed. I ordered an appliance and was told delivery would be around 3 December. Chased on the 4th told someone would be in touch that day. Nobody contacted me and I am still waiting a day later. What a shame service lets down this company. I am hoping someone will read this and make an effort to help me!

Got my whole kitchen shipped abroad to Hong Kong. Great prices and got the VAT back also. Couldn’t be happier.

she was very friendly and professional, My wife and I had researched the market place extensively for the best deal on a top the range NEFF Induction cooker. We checked out JL and many other high street names as well as on-line stores but no store came close to what Appliance World offered. We placed the order 25/07/18 and saved over £200.00 then to our surprise we received a gift and our cooker arrived at 7am this morning :-) . Truly an amazing experience, a 1st class service thank you all.

Fantastic website and fabulous telephone support. It was wonderful to be able to speak to people on the phone who cared and remembered me as a customer and treated me as an individual. I was really impressed that everything was delivered by their own people rather than just a courier. Best value for money for appliances on the internet. May not be the very cheapest, but the cheeper's don't over this service, speed of delivery or all the extras.

The staff are extremely helpful, within 30 minutes of placing my order (North East England near to Newcastle Upon Tyne), they were on the phone to tell me that they don't deliver any further north than Leeds and have cancelled my order. Not to worry the lovely lady advised we have done that for you and won't take any money out of your account. Now I am wondering why they don't spend the few pounds to put a limiter on their website for post codes rather than have to keep getting reviews like this one.

Every stage of my dealings with this firm have proved to be excellent. The staff are helpful and friendly. After inadvertently ordering an incorrect extractor fan for my kitchen they replaced it despite my having exceeded the normal return time by a considerable margin. The ordering and replacement was seamless. A first rate experience.

We ordered a Miele dishwasher and had it delivered next day by an excellent delivery driver who phoned me half an hour prior to delivery. Of course it was lucky that the delivery to my area was due that day, but it did arrive in less than 24 hours.
The price of the dishwasher was the lowest that I could find online and the delivery was free.
I spoke to the Lydia at the company several times and found her very friendly and helpful.
I would use this company again.

Fridge was delivered on the agreed date– Excellent service from Lydia, Sharon and other staff who kept me fully informed. (not forgetting your delivery driver, Malcolm?, friendly and helpful) You did everything as promised in a professional yet friendly manner and the price was very competitive. Fantastic service from start to finish. Very good sales advise and product knowledge without hard selling. I have used Appliance World for purchasing all my white goods over the years for this reason. Customer service team have been fantastic when our American Fridge developed a fault organising a replacement and delivery keeping us up-to-date date throughout the process.

I have just received delivery of a Liebherr Fridge Freezer which unfortunately had some minor panel damage which was only found on unpacking. I contacted Appliance World and after a conversation agreed to accept the unit provided that Liebherr would compensate me for the damaged panel. There was no obvious marking/damage to the packaging and I concluded that the damage occurred during transit from Europe. This was handled by Lydia who acting on my behalf arranged satisfactory compensation. The customer service and communication was excellent and I would be very happy to deal with them again in the future.

I ordered a Montpellier Fridge/Freezer from Appliance World on 20th February 2018. The item was out of stock and I arranged for delivery to be made on Saturday 3rd March 2018. Due to weather conditions they were unable to deliver my appliance and arrangements were made for a delivery to be made on Thursday 8th March 2018. I received a telephone call to say they would be delivering my appliance on Wednesday 7th March 2018 (great news).

Delivery was made on 7 March. However when the appliance was unpacked there was a large dent in the front of the freezer door. This was beneath all the packing so must have been like that when it was packed in the warehouse. Contact was made with Lydia who said she would be able to get us a replacement door, this we agreed. However it then become apparent the Montpellier factory could not give assurance on a delivery date for a new door therefore we decided to return the appliance for a refund.

This was agreed and the appliance was due to be collected on Thursday 15 March. Appliance World did not arrive to take collect the appliance. When I rang the following day I was informed they could not fit the appliance on the van.

Arrangements were then made for the appliance to be collected on 22 March. The appliance was collected, I was assured that a refund would be made on the day the appliance was received back at the warehouse. I was informed it would take three days for the refund to show in my Bank.

On the Monday 26 March I rang Appliance World to be told they could not arrange the refund as they were waiting for the refund screens to be set up to enable a this to be done. I was assured I would receive an email confirming the refund had been made.

On Tuesday 27 March I rang Appliance World. No refund as of yet, they were waiting for the warehouse to update their information and a Manager to enable a refund to be made.

Appliance World have had my money since 20 February 2018 and I have lost my patience with the above scenario. I do not consider their customer service to be in the favour of anyone who has to return a product due to no fault of their own.

I will not be buying from this company again or recommending them.

Excellent customer service given to me by Gavin, went above and beyond to help me pick my new washing machine and cooker, explained the best value and what my needs were for choosing the right products to suit my needs, will be coming back very soon to purchase a new fridge / freezer in the near future

Total rubbish. I checked delivery and Appliance World's website confirmed the company does deliver to my postcode. Placed the order yesterday, order accepted, including delivery address. Call, this afternoon, despite the map on Appliance World's site confirming they deliver to my postcode, they don't. Such rubbish. Waste people's time and simply don't care. Do not support companies that treat customers like this. If this is how they treat you when you're buying, imagine the pain if something goes wrong.

So, Appliance World has sent a response, nice cuddly 'we're trying to find ways to deliver to your area' & 'you declined delivery to a different address'. Appliance World, you have singularly failed to explain why your own map on your own website clearly showed you deliver to my postcode, but you don't, it is untrue and you refused to honour the delivery. There is no explanation for this in the response. As to the offer of delivery to a different address, I ordered the item for delivery where I wanted it, not somewhere I didn't want it. I don't see any reason why I should do your deliveries for you. Your carefully worded cuddly response actually doesn't respond to the issue, at all. Furthermore, you say you can't find a delivery company that offers the same level of service that you try to give your customers. Since you don't deliver at all to my post code, despite your website saying you do, I can see that probably is a tricky situation, you're looking for a delivery company that doesn't deliver . . . um, give me a minute, we can sort this . . . ah, got it, how about Appliance World Delivery service, it advertises to deliver to my post code but doesn't - perfect, try them !!!

Very clever, you get all your advertising points into your response without responding to your total failure. I will never use your company again, dishonesty piled onto dishonesty. Appliance world doesn't deserve even 1 star.

What a great company to deal with. Their prices were low and became even better when they gave a discount to complete with the lowest I could find. Excellent customer service provided as well when deliveries were being impacted snow. Appliances arrived today - on schedule.
