Commnication problems. Started well, trailed off once I had bought the vehicle. Still waiting to receive a part they had promised me. So disappointing as they seemed really promising and genuine at first. What a sucker I am!

5 STAR RATING to Ancoats Car sales, they were EXCELLENT! Their people skills were a credit to their family business. Customer focused, they made the buying experience a stress free experience. Gulley the proprietor, went out of his way to ensure we were 100% happy before completion and his brother Abu was just as professional. We were extremely impressed, try them, HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!

I honestly can’t put into words how stressful this whole experience has been.
After signing an agreement for them to buy my car, I handed over the car, both keys and all the paperwork, trusting that everything would go ahead as agreed. Then, the day before I was due to be paid, they told me they weren’t going to pay. There was no proper explanation and no genuine reason given for suddenly going back on the agreement.
The only option they gave me was to part exchange my car for one of theirs. That wasn’t what I’d agreed to at all. I’d sold my car because I needed the money and had already put a deposit down on a replacement car from another dealership. Their decision left me with no car, no payment and a situation that they had created but expected me to deal with.
Communication was awful throughout. All of my emails were ignored and, instead of speaking to me directly, they were passing messages through my friend. I was left chasing them every step of the way.
In the end, I had to fight to get my own car back and make alternative arrangements just to be able to buy the car I’d already committed to elsewhere. The amount of stress and anxiety this caused was completely unnecessary.
A business is only as good as its word. In my experience, Ancoats Cars didn’t honour theirs. I wouldn’t trust them again and I’d strongly advise anyone thinking of buying or selling a car with them to think twice.

From my initial phone call I was delt with professionally and attentively. Gave me the information I requested, a good part ex price and a pick up day that included seeing the car and finalising the deal. Many thanks, would very happily deal with you again.

⚠️ WARNING – Avoid Ancoats Car Sales! ⚠️

I bought a car in March, and within 3 days the engine warning light came on. Since then, it’s been nothing but problems. Josh was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional — and I was told by two different members of staff on separate days that they don’t even test drive the cars before selling them!

🚗 Major Issues
• Engine warning light constantly on and off
• EGR valve cleaned twice — still faulty
• Coolant pipe leak (smoke from engine)
• Rear brakes dangerously low (2–3%)
• Brake discs at minimum limit
• Stop/start not working — battery needed replacing
• Pipe not fitted correctly — took Mercedes-Benz an hour to put right

I paid £199 for a full Mercedes-Benz health check, and it was worth every penny considering the serious safety hazards they uncovered.
Mercedes-Benz confirmed the car should never have been sold in that condition.
😡 Customer Service
• Even though we had an appointment with Josh, he went out and left us waiting for over an hour before turning up. On day 5 of purchase, Josh told me the issue was my fault for how I drove the car, said “we’re not a supermarket”, and that if I wanted a refund, I’d have to take them to court. he was rude, dismissive, and shouted at me instead of helping
• Josh and the owners ignored all my letters, emails, and calls
• Staff even admitted they were in the office but refused to take my call
💸 Final Thoughts
The staff at Bezel Garage were professional and amazing to deal with, but sadly the car itself was not fit for purpose.
I’ve lost thousands of pounds and endured months of stress because of this experience.
Please, please save your hard-earned money and go somewhere honest and trustworthy.

Worst experience ever!!!

Gully and Kash ( Made up names) sold me a faulty car. They’ve rushed me into buying a car that had issues. There weren’t any inspection done prior to the sale of this car. They lie to you just to make a sale. My car completely broke down within a week. When I asked to return the car and I was with in cooling off period, they disappeared , they’ve sold a faulty car that weren’t fit to drive.

I now have to deal with my finance company as they’ve clearly ghosted and the finance company was also recommended by them as I had my pre approved finance application elsewhere, they’ve insisted to go with their finance company as they’ll give the same APR %.

Dodgy car dealership

I went to look at a car I had seen on Autotrader and it was just what I wanted. Within an hour my finance was arranged and the car was dropped off at my house a few hours later. I would definitely buy from Gully again, he made it so easy.

Please, please take into account all the bad reviews for this Car dealer they are atrocious! I was interested in a vehicle so emailed them asking about service history etc... they then rang with the old classic "a lot of other people are interested and can I leave a deposit". I did as I was genuinely interested, it was a distance purchase so I requested to see service history and a vehicle walk around before i book a test drive as it was a 5h round trip. Gully the salesman I was dealing with said he had it all there and would send it to me the following day in the afternoon as he was on holiday that morning. The next day came and went no contact regardless of all the calls I made to the dealership. Finally days later I managed to contact him to find out there was no service book present, he said the vehicles was a friend of his boss and would get it. A week went by and I done an independent check on the vehicle only to find it had outstanding finance, Gully said it was stock finance what they use to purchase the vehicles on the forecourt. After a little digging online it turned out to be a lie, there was outstanding finance on the vehicle dating back to 2021 of 156 months. When I again questioned him on this he again lied and said it was paid off by the garage and would update in 3/5 working days. 2 weeks on of listening to lie after lie the finance was still there and the service history which was promised has still not materialised. When I confronted Gully over this he just said I will give you your deposit back!!! Which took me the threat of trading standards to actually get back. This whole debacle wasted over 2 weeks of my time and energy to be told lies upon lies. Please avoid for your own sake. Worst most un professional car dealership I have ever done business with. By the way the vehicle went back on sale the following day please be careful do your independent vehicle checks.

I just bought a new car from fraser Cameron . Excellent service nothing to complain about nice quick and easy many cars to chose from
