Don’t trust their reviews
I used Alive Networks to find a band for our wedding. The band were good when playing live but I was a bit disappointed in the preparation of the “free DJ” service. They said they had a Spotify playlist which I looked at and tried to add a few of our own songs and remove some I didn’t like. It wouldn’t let me do that, so the week of the wedding I then got a request to do our own playlist which was a bit late. I assumed they would review this and put it in some kind of order or at least pick what was appropriate during their breaks but they didn’t. They just hit play and there wasn’t even fading between the tracks so this was disappointing and I gave a 3 star review. However, what is more concerning is that hasn’t been published on their website. It’s still showing the band having all 5 star reviews and dates after our wedding. For that reason I would not trust Alive networks.
Following their response, I’ve actually removed a star… I cannot believe how disingenuous they are. Telling me that my review was published and I should look again.. it was publish the day after I wrote this original Trustpilot review (for which I have proof)!! So they only waited for me to call them out before publishing and then saying I’d made a mistake. And no, I don’t need you to contact me afterwards regarding this.. what are you going to do..the problem has already happened on my wedding day and you cannot fix it. The process of finding the band and communication with Alive Networks was fine hence why I gave them quite a positive review initially, it’s the lack of transparency since I left reviews which has me left me completely untrusting of this business.

Hi Vanessa, I think there's been some confusion as your review definitely has been published. You need to click through onto the band's reviews page to see it, but it's definitely there, and it's included in the overall tally of reviews at each score rating.
You had indicated on your review that you didn't want us to follow up with you, and it's a bit disappointing that, having indicated this, as well as rating Alive Network 4.75 out of 5 for our service, you've chosen to publish a negative review rather than reaching out. Is there a reason why you didn't want to get in touch about this - we could have helped you right away?
We'd really appreciate it if you would consider removing this review and contacting us to discuss further, as you were clearly happy with our service up to this point.
Also, to be clear, part of the reason we request artist reviews from customers is so that we can ensure our expected standards are being met, and where artists fall short, they are removed from our website, which is why the review scores are so high. We don't work with artists who get a lot of negative reviews.
We have spoken with the band about your feedback and they've apologised, and promised to take more care of their free DJ service in future.
