Excellent company

Excellent company, and excellent products. Fast delivery, and well packaged goods.
I have dealt with Aguri before, so that's why I returned again. Highly recommended.

Easy order process and a great product.

Easy order process and very quick delivery. Kept informed of progress and delivery time. This order is for a present to someone, I’ve owned a similar Aguri satnav for 10 years and it has never let me down in UK or Europe.

Think before you outlay such an amountI

I purchased an aguri skyway gtx 70 speed camera detection device and initially it seemed to work ok.
The box containing the device clearly states that there are lifetime updates for it and also that is reiterated within the documentation accompanying it.
However upon trying to update the device very recently 23/10/25 I experienced difficulties in doing so and to cut the story short I phoned Aguri and spoke to a person called Patrick who informed me that the gtx 50. 60 and 70 can no longer be updated due to issues with Google who blocked them
This means that the devices are really useless without up to date information due to the ever changing variations in speed limits.
However he did offer a discount of £40 off the gtx 90 but still having to fork out another £130
Will the inevitable then happen to that model ?
As a result of this waste of money and poor experience I strongly recommend you think before you outlay such an amount of money with so called lifetime updates that don’t have lifetime updates
There are other options out there at a fraction of the cost even if you have to keep rebuying them every 2 years or so.
At least you can stay up to date with the changing conditions

As with all electronic devices that rely on third-party software platforms, there will always be a finite lifespan. This applies equally to manufacturers such as Apple, Samsung, and others. “Lifetime updates” means that we continue to provide updates for as long as the device remains operational and it is technically possible to do so — and we did exactly that.

In fact, we supported the Aguri GTX70 with free updates for more than nine years, which is around two to three times longer than the industry standard, and seven years after the model was last sold. Unfortunately, recent changes made by Google have prevented further updates from being delivered to this particular model — a situation entirely outside our control.

To help our long-standing customers, we’ve offered a £40 loyalty discount towards the latest GTX90, which continues to receive updates and includes significant improvements in both hardware and software.

Even in the worst-case scenario, if you purchased one of the last GTX70 units sold, the cost works out at around 50p per week over the supported period — exceptional value by any reasonable measure.

We’re proud of the support we’ve provided for the GTX range over the years, and we believe our ongoing commitment to updates and customer service speaks for itself.

It fails to recognize a static speed…

It fails to recognize a static speed camera that I pass everyday, There is a lack of clarity on what it can detect and from how far away!.

If you’d like us to investigate the issue with the static camera near your home, please reply to our email confirming the exact location of the camera. Once we have those details, we can look into it straight away and make sure everything is working as it should.
