Daniel was the main person who helped me plan and execute the plan. He was very helpful and friendly, and available for any questions or problems I had throughout the trip. That was very reassuring!
However the trip went seamlessly, and all the connections were there and available when they were supposed to be - all the flights, hotel reservations etc. So that was great!
Also we really enjoyed the 2 camps we were booked into - Flatdogs in South Luangwa, and Baines River Camp in the lower Zambezi. Both of them took amazing care of us, with super friendly staff and great food. The wildlife guides in the National Parks we were with were very knowledgable, and helped us find every animal we requested them to, including a chameleon! (How he saw a chameleon is still a mystery to me. The guides seem to have binoculars built into their eyes :-) )
We had a wonderful time, and will definitely use ABS for future trips. Thanks so much.
I'm a bit sad that it is all over.

We were a group booking. Unfortunately we were waiting for a passport and Chris was excellent in organising the paperwork. Everything was very clear with no issues with international bank transfer. Communication was great with speedy replies and assistance. Delays in arrivals were sorted and we did not miss out on anything.

My family just came back from a trip to Victoria Falls, game drives in Zimbabwe and Botswana that we booked thru African Budget Safaris with Daniel. We loved their very helpful, detailed extensive website: that’s what caught our attention in the first place. Daniel was very responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. He was very understanding and accommodating to our situation with a child and gave us a great deal. We were very happy with a walking tour along Victoria Falls as well as a helicopter trip over it. Game drives in Vict Falls with Michael and with Bheki from Hwange Safari Lodge were super exciting and breathtaking. Both guides were very knowledgeable and passionate about what they were doing and deeply cared about all wild life and delivering the best experience to us. Our trip was very memorable. We were very happy with our choice.

The company was great. Always helpful and I got fast replies to all my questions. The organisation of the whole trip was impecceble. Everything was pre booked as promissed. Will consider you for sure on my next trip to this lovely country.

Right away, we were assigned a consultant, Harriet, who lived in the city we were heading for. Being a local helped answer some questions we had about our arrival in South Africa and our connection to the tour we had booked. Every time we wrote to Harriet she responded overnight. Every time. At one point, we had an unexpected cancellation of another major component of our vacation that affected our safari, Harriet was there to help us manage changes with our booking. Payment with the secure payment partner was easier than expected. Good experience all around!

This is the third time I have used African Budget Safaris and have never been disappointed. They have many tours to choose from in many categories. This time around I chose to do an overland tour from Johannesburg ending at Victoria Falls. Overlanding is fun and an adventure and you get to leave behind home comforts and experience the African way of life and wilderness. You also get to meet new people from many other countries. No 4 star hotels here, you spend a lot of time travelling in a specially converted truck and this is where you eat 3 meals a day. Evening accommodation mostly is in fixed safe tents all of which have their own bathroom and toilet etc. I would certainly recommend African Budget Safaris and I would like to mention my agent here Claire Monson, whom for the third time now has arranged my tours with expertise and knowledge. She is very passionate being involved in the African travel business and I couldn't think of anyone better to communicate with whilst booking my safaris. Thank you Claire.

Chris is super fast, friendly, all helpful informations, takes good care - all in all i feel so well taken care of with my wishes concerning the Safari. Thank you a lot!!

Its always so easy to tell when one is on the receiving end of high quality customer service and that is what Claire whom I dealt with provided me. Over a prolonged period of time and with many changes made Claire always was there to assist. First rate experience for us.

This trip has been amazing. I did really appreciate the professionality and care of me during the hole journey and also before... all my questions always received quick and good answers. The guides were friendly and well prepare to any situation even when our truck broke in the middle of Etosha!!
Food, accommodation, tents and truck were perfect for this kind of trip. Actually I was really surprised to find healthy and homemade food basically every meal and I had really good sleeps in my tent (the mattress make the difference ). About landscapes and activities.... well I've nothing to say. Namibia is such a wonderful country and with this tour we managed to see loads of different areas. I cannot choose which I loved the most!!
I will definitely suggest your website and this tour. I know could be expensive but it totally worths it!!!

Booking a safari in Namibia with Daniel at African Budget Safari was a very positive. We were provided with a number of options with clear itinerary and pricing information for an Etosha Safari that started and ended in Windhoek. Overall, it was an excellent experience!

Our recent 23-day safari/excursion these folks set up for us in Kenya/Tanzania/Zanzibar was fantastic in every way. The guides and other staff from Alisi Adventures and Discover Zanzibar were all excellent, helpful and friendly. The accommodations were very high quality, a tremendous value for the price.

Claire Monson of ABS was very patient and accommodating in helping us design the exact trip we wanted. This is our second time using ABS; the previous was another excellent safari in South Africa. They can arrange adventures in many locations across the continent, and I can't recommend them highly enough!

Great service, great tour

I contacted African Budget Safaris to book a stay at Sabina Wildlife Reserve. Harriet quickly responded and provided the needed information and kept me informed throughout the process of confirming the reservation and setting up travel to and from Sanbora. Payment was set up via a secure site. Our stay was simply amazing. If I am ever fortunate to return to South Africa, I will definitely be contacting African Budget Safaris to help plan that trip.

Hats off to Claire at African Budget Safaris (ABF) for putting together the perfect safari at a reasonable price. Incredible customer service to tailor our needs at a great price point. ABF values each customer and works hard to find the right safari at the right price. I have had the most amazing Safari trip, booking through Bronwyn, at African Budget Safaris. The camp was fantastic, as well as the guides, camp managers, and the delicious fresh food prepared every evening from the in camp Chef. Best of all was always the iconic African wildlife on the doorstep. Bateleur Safari camp was just perfect, especially as a solo female traveller. I cannot thank Bronwyn and her lovely team at African Budget Safaris for yet another memorable Wildlife Safari trip.

African Budget Safaris were super helpful for me organizing my first trip to Kenya. Chris suggested various safari options to fit what I was looking for in terms of experience, locale, and price range and helped me decide which to choose. The package I ended up booking was fantastic, really exceeded expectations for wildlife and hospitality! Doing a bank transfer from the UK was a bit difficult but Chris was very helpful and patient with that, too. With so many safaris to choose from, it was good to have expert guidance with finding and booking the right trip.

I cant say enough good things about African Budget Safari's and Claire. She went above and beyond to make our experiences exceptional. All her suggestions of hotels, activities and tours were perfect. Everything we did and where we stayed was fantastic! And every transfer, tour guide and lodge was perfect not one problem with any of it. I will only recommend African Budget Safari's for people traveling to Africa....no resaon to go with any other company...it was an amazing experience and value.
